If you want to sleep DO NOT STAY HERE! To the owner/management: Please do not rent your short stay let / Airbnb whilst you have ongoing construction work. It's as simple as that. What we experienced was completely unacceptable. Brazen headache inducing banging throughout the entire day for the duration of our stay.
My family and I travelled over 4, 000 miles from London, UK to Cotonou, Benin to relax for the Christmas break and catch up with family In-Law. After several long haul and exhausting flights, we were pleased to arrive at what seemed a well-appointed and modern apartment. Looking forward to a good night's rest and a lie-in we were rudely awaken by builders on the roof above our "deluxe 2-bedroom apartment". It appears to be that another floor/more apartments are being added to the building. This was NOT mentioned to me when I enquired about the booking. This went on for our entire stay including Christmas Day at various times of the night and early morning; loud banging and metal scraping at 1am, 6am, 7am etc… constantly waking up my family including our 23-month-old infant. Despite my husband's repeated requests to the management's office for the builders to cease work in the early hours the noise continued, which just shows a complete lack of respect for paying guests. We are not being unreasonable. We just want sleep at the typical hours that human beings sleep.
It’s a nice and comfortable place to stay for any purpose or reason you find yourself in Cotonou.
They have one of the finest staff I’ve come across. The receptionist is lovely and caring, always asking if you need anything and always there to help when you need her.
I recommend this nice and lovely place to anyone going to Cotonou.

It was okay. The concierge was nice and helpful.
But I don’t understand why the TV Wi-Fi is locked and only the concierge çan put the code. And whenever the TV is off it requires a password, it’s annoying.
