DO NOT STAY HERE! There is a nice hotel right beside it same price, that is actually a 4 star. When we got to the hotel after a 4 hour car ride, we sat sweating at the table. 4 people asked us for food, but no one took our order or served us. I had to walk to the bar to get drinks and explain we would like food. He was good, not happy with other servers. Still took over 30 minutes to get our order. Went to the bar 3 times! Then the room are big, but no amenities, 1 small bottle of water a day per visitor. Went and asked for more and the said NO. Then the alarm on our door went off, told them 3 times. It stop for am hour and started again.

Was a frequent guest service has dropped from a solid 8 to barely a two in just the past few months. Restaurant staff spend more time chatting with each other than serving guests. Waited more than 30 minutes when restaurant was no more than half full. Will not be going back.

After dragging all our stuff to the room, we donned suits & headed to the pool to rest & relax. Oh no, pool not open. We asked to be directed to the beach. Don't have one but we could walk a mile or 2 down to the public beach. Then said just bring us a couple cold beers here by the defunct pool. NO! Not allowed by the pool… defunct or not. Since the pool was the reason we chose to stay there, we made them wake the owner up (asleep in a recliner in the exercise area) to get our money back. Repacked and blew outta that joint. 1 star is too much! 😢

This is a lovely and Inexpensive experience. Excelent rooms and beautiful morning view. Kind and caring staff with a real sweet restaurant. Great get away sanctuary!

Our group has been meeting here for lunch weekly. Food and service generally good. However, on our last visit, the new manager, Lima, personally checked with our group several times. The assistant manager was our server and was excellent! Food was very good as well!
Appreciate the improved customer focus!

Great location right by the sea! The rooms are large, spacious, and comfortable. Excellent value for the price, and the on-site restaurant serves delicious meals. A pleasant stay overall.

While Sunshine is a very cute restaurant to dine in at, some aspects of my experience there left me disappointed. Basically, I wanted to order the chicken chow mein, which I didn’t get because chinese food is unavailable after 9pm. Then, as a replacement I thought I’d order chicken cordon blue, which I was also told was not available some time later. While I did end up enjoying my plate of chicken fingers and the ceviche that was on the table, I just wish I had a better experience trying the food that I wanted initially. Anyway, the staff was great and very welcoming, and the ambience there made up for the mishaps that occured. Would definitely go back to give it a second chance!

Sunshine View Hotel was a charming and peaceful stay with stunning views and genuinely warm hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home, and the location made it easy to explore the beauty of Belize. The room was comfortable and well-kept overall, but unfortunately, we did spot a couple of cockroaches during our stay, which took away from the experience a bit. That said, the positives far outweighed this one issue. With just a little extra attention to pest control, this place would easily be a five-star gem. Still, we’d happily come back again.

Love this place its so beautiful, has an amazing swimming pool. Food is great has afordable prices, service was excellent will be going back soon hundred percent recomended.

The hotel is well past needing remodeling and the bed was hard as a rock with minimal padding over the Springs (you'll feel every one).

We live in San Pedro and Sunshine is our home away from home. Every staff person is top notch. The best place to stay in Corozal!

After our group of four checked in to our two rooms for 6 nights, we found the pool to be nasty green — unable to see the bottom. It was never cleaned during our trip despite multiple request by us and other guests. In protest we took our food and drink money to other locations. Mgmt missed out on $1k USD minimum — more than the cost of keeping the pool up. Restaurant was good and rooms are acceptable, but the pool is why we close Sunshine View.

Stayed a few days. Staff was great, bar & food was good, room A/C was great. We would stay again.

We spent 6 days here. The location was great with two good restaurants next door. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the fantastic view. We especially enjoyed the breakfast in the restaurant. Free coffee was provided in the morning. The menu is extensive and the serving size is generous. Two bottles of water is provided daily but you can ask for more. I plan to stay here again.

A superb nice venue right on the bay, with a pool, a huge menu of food options, and everything I ate was nice quality.
Music, full bar, and great views of sunrise and sunset. Highly recommend, and conveniently located just south of main corozal town. Certainly one of the nicest options in the area.

The lagoon, bay, has about 20, 20yr old tires,,,, and thousands of broken bottles…
Room service drinks,,, after 49 minutes I went for the dinner and drinks,,,, drinks took another 20 minutes,,.
None of windows or balcony doors work correctly,, both hands and push hard, and hope it doesn't break.
