This resort is fabulous. Tristan is above and beyond. We are 3 generations having one of the best vacations ever.

We loved Pelican Reef and all it had to offer. Quiet location. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. Super clean! A truly relaxing and fun vacation! I will definitely stay here again!

Tristian, Blanca, Enrique, Niam, Cindy the whole staff was amazing. They booked wonderful excursions for us, private fishing charter, ziplining, cave tubing, Mayan ruins… it was just incredible. the ground are gorgeous, the food is amazing. We will be back!

This place is absolutely amazing! Everyone was extremely nice & helpful! The drinks & food were also amazing! They booked our tours with amazing companies as well! Tristian was by far the most helpful & kind person I’ve ever met in my life! They do all the big things to make you feel like royalty, but they also do little things that make you feel extremely special! I love this place & the people!

I cannot say enough great things about this place. I have traveled a lot and stayed at a lot of high end places, but this place is among the best I have stayed in. The service you get from the staff here exceeded my expectations, they helped set everything up for us from excursions, reservations, transportation, etc… They went above and beyond to make my honeymoon AND birthday so special. Also the breakfast that was included is absolutely amazing. Food is so fresh and local, and is better than any place I’ve ever stayed. The food and drinks there were wonderful. They keep the grounds super clean and are out there cleaning and doing maintenance daily to keep the area clean and beautiful. The rooms are also very spacious, comfortable, and quiet. They are on the quieter south side of the island, but still only a 10 minute golf cart ride into the main town on the island, San Pedro. Golf carts are the main mode of transportation on the island so would recommend getting one. But be prepared for rough, bumpy roads as they are not paved, which is the case throughout the whole island. Other than that one small downside I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here for my first time in Belize, and will not even consider staying anywhere else other than here when we return!

What's not to love? This resort, hands down, has the best staff and accomodations there is! We eloped here in May of 2018 and fell in love with the island. We came back for our 1 year anniversary and stayed at another "highly recommended" resort. It just wasn't the same service and amenities as this beautiful resort. We have booked another trip for June and are so excited to be staying at PRV once again! Save yourself the trouble of staying at another resort and let Tristan handle all your needs! He is AMAZING!

I’ll be honest. I’ve been to San Pedro countless times and I’ve never heard of pelican reef. I am really happy my cousin recommended them For my birthday trip. Everything was amazing. From the booking the room with Blanca to the bartender, the room, the pool and the breakfast was all really great. They made me feel special for my birthday. The beach was pristine. The grounds and rooms were kept clean. They had cute little details like bug spray, sunblock, pool floats and pool toys available for their guests. The pool is not massive but was beautifully kept and had a swim up bar. I’ll definitely be going back with my family.

Aside from the 5 star location, every single member of the staff provided service excellence beyond our expectations. Didn't have to lift a finger. Food and drinks were perfect. Property maintenance was extraordinary, and we're already plotting a return trip. Thank you Cindy, Tristian, all of the bar staff, and our mascot el Diablo.

The staff was amazing as well as the food and the accommodations. In fact, all the people we ran into in Belize were so nice. This ranks up there as one of the best vacations ever!

Quite place away from of the hustle and bustle of San Pedro. We loved our stay here and would recommend it to anyone. The staff was attentive and courteous, and they would help us with any tours we wanted to book. You can rent a cart and drive into town for anything you need. The villas were spacious and a perfect getaway from the humidity. You will happy you booked Pelican Reef.

Room was excellent. Air conditioner worked great. Kitchen wonderful and well equipped. Beautiful views. Staff very friendly and helpful. Amos was the most helpful. Very mature and professional. A very quiet and laid back place. Convenient pick up for most water related excursions from their lovely dock. Breakfast ordered to our condo everyday was delicious! Drinks at the pool were yummy. I loved the Dirty Banana! Don't plan on swimming off the beach. Lots of sargassum weed every day on this windward side of the island at every resort. Poor guys clean it well every day. Still even without the sargassum, the beach is not designed to walk in and swim. You would need too swim of the pier. My only disappoint was the pool. I knew it was small, but that wasn't the problem. There are 4 seats at the swim up bar which are great. On each side of the pool there is a step down and a ledge you can sit on. Other than that, the pool is too deep to stand up in and I'm not short! This would be disappointing if you arrived with small children, so keep that in mind. Other than that, lovely resort.

This is an amazing place to stay in San Pedro. Clean and we'll taken care of property. The staff are friendly and willing to help you with anything. I do want to mention that it's about 10 min outside of town and unless you rent a golf cart or pay 10 blz dollars for a taxi getting to town is not a quick walk. When I come back to Belize I will definitly stay here again.

We where Mother’s On The Run during our stay in honor of Mother’s Day. It was absolutely wonderful. The staff are awesome. Always accomidating and ready to help. They all made us feel so very welcomed. We where a party of 6 women. The food was great and just beautiful to eat. Never had orange juice so fresh as that. I will surly be back with my family next. This will be a yearly destination for me. Belize It! So many beautiful pictures we took on the grounds. I would like to give a special thanks to Amos as he helped me so greatly before the trip answering all my questions and ensuring me everything will be great. I called him several times, sometimes back to back with questions and never once did he sound out of patience with me. He helped to set up all out excursions and made it so easy to do last minute changes etc… He was Amazing!

This place may be a bit a of a golf cart drive from downtown San Pedro but we found the daily trip enjoyable. The room was good clean condition and plenty spacious enough for the 6 of us.

The Pelican Reef hotel and villas are phenomenal! We were so impressed and did not want to leave! We had the pleasure of Tristan and Tracy, the mangers and concierge, give us a complete and genuine introduction to their beautiful grounds, pool, bar, beach and pier with hammocks, snorkeling and fishing and sunsets! We got a rum punch welcome drink, so did the kids — virgin of course! Also, lavender scented washcloths, very refreshing! Our 3 bedroom villa was perfect for our family of 6. Very clean and a great view of the sea and pool. Tristan was super friendly, cordial, and ready with tons of fun information and ideas for us to experience while visiting. Tracy was the same. Both always had a smile and we were made to feel like they loved having us. We did the Day at Sea and it couldn’t have been more exciting and our captain, Selvin was a careful and detailed fisherman and chef! We also rented a golf cart and took it all the way to Not So Secret Beach and really all over San Pedro. The Pelican Reef bar made great drinks and many pina colada’s for the kids. Can’t thank them enough for making our stay one of the best we’ve ever experienced. We will stay no where else if we can make it back! Highly recommend!

I loved this place! The people were great, the beach was a blast! Kids saw rays, barracuda, tarpoon and tons of smaller fish just swimming off the pier. Wonderful place! Plan to rent a golf kart. That was also a blast!

Me and my husband got here Tuesday for our honeymoon and soon as we arrived Tristan greeted us and showed us around this beautiful resort! They even had a cute welcoming sign with our name on it. The room was decorated and soon as we got in Tristan asked what would like to have for lunch. With us being vegan they made sure we had something special everyday day. They literally went out their way to make sure we had a great breakfast lunch and dinner. The cook was very sweet and came out to discuss what and what we can't have. Even though the resort does not offer dinner Tristan went over and beyond and researched different dinner ideas for us. Edvin was also great as well the other staff! Literally everyone caters to you and make you feel like you're the only one on the resort. Pelican Reef is right on the beach so the view is perfect and their pier is beautiful! You're right on the beach I mean what more can you ask for. They deserve 10 stars! We will definitely be returning!

WOW! This is paradise. See the photos to answer most questions. The staff is great. Food is available for breakfast and lunch. You can order diner to have it delivered or cook in your own kitchen. The bar is open until 9pm. Security is 24 hours. Kayaks and paddle boards are available. The rooms are great. I loved our bed and slept better than at home. Easier to sleep in paradise. This place is quiet. They handled setting up the tours for snorkeling and fishing and our sunset cruise. There are more things to do but we ran out of time. The staff also picked up our to go orders and helped us choose dinner places.

What a beautiful and private property. The staff is beyond amazing and doesn't mind going the extra mile without being asked! They offer nice upgraded units that are beautifully decorated with the best views. They also offer a tasty menu with a bar on site as well. The drinks are just what the doctor ordered!

Great pool and swim up bar with nice air conditioned rooms. Watch out for the sand flies (use baby oil). The food is also great, but prepare for a long wait.

I ate lunch here during my recent stay in Belize. The food was really tasty, reasonably priced, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!

Excellent resort for those looking for a more secluded, smaller venue. It's very private and well kept. The staff is awesome and very kind, even when it's well past their time to leave for the day.

We stayed in unit 9, which was a lovely place with beautiful artwork on the walls, painted by the unit's owner, comfortable beds, good water pressure, bathroom, laundry and kitchen amenities. And what a picturesque ocean view! Hotel staff was awesome. Our room was always cleaned while we were away which was super convenient. Breakfast was always fantastic. Big appreciation for Michaela who is super welcoming, attentive and hardworking. Beachfront was cleaned and raked each morning and padding on lounge chairs very comfortable. The pool has no "shallow end, " but the covered pool bar was great! Well done PRV!
