This is our sixth trip to Belize. We usually come every January and stay two weeks. This was our second stay here at Coco Beach Resort. We were very disappointed in this stay. We booked the waterfront penthouse again for this stay. It seems as if the entire staff changed, which is okay if quality service and devoted staff remain up to standard. Since we had an extended stay, we also stayed in another condo besides the penthouse. The upkeep of the inside units was very disappointing since our previous visits. We had internet issues, air conditioning issues, plumbing issues with the units wreaking of urine, Ice maker not working, drainage issues in the showers, light fixtures and electrical outlets not working. It was my wife’s birthday and I had to follow up with the staff on several occasions to be sure they rose to the occasion. After several follow ups… they did do a half way decent job. Although I requested a specific bottle of wine for her birthday, the staff sent Chardonnay. When I called the front desk to arrange an exchange, I was told that they could not accommodate me at the time. If they could, someone would be in contact with me. I have yet to hear from any staff member. Needless to say, this will be our last visit here. We will head back to the Grand Caribe where the units are in excellent working condition, laundry is included in your penthouse rental, and where they have always made my wife’s birthday PERFECT! We still love Coco Beach. Best bar and pool on the island. Never disappointed.

Yesenia and Gabrielle up front are great. Super Helpful and very Sweet. Ashton and Daniel at the pool bar are So Amazing. Kind, Sweet, Friendly, made us laugh, just Awesome. The Staff, Hotel and the Pools were clean and I loved our stay for the week. Ahi's restaurant was a gr8 recommend place to eat dinner. I will be back for sure.

Came here for our honeymoon and aside from the pretty set up in the room when we arrived we were highly disappointed. We stayed at Ramon’s the first half for our wedding and we totally regret leaving! Not the friendliest staff here and the cafe in the morning is very slow! It took 20 mins to receive a macchiato that was served to me cold. I had to mention there aren’t many guests here at all. We made the best of it by driving back into the other side of town. Best, closest thing would have to be secret beach! I had high hopes!

Score! Love this resort. Get one of the casitas if you can. A bargain price for what you get. First class service from the moment you step off the plane. Never touched our luggage until it landed in the room. Golf carts are a blast. Sun is beautiful. Staff are terrific. Thanks Coco Beach Resort!

Nice hotel overall, I really have enjoyed my stay here. Although there are a lot mosquitoes outside they do spary but it's part of the experience. Good location to the secret beach and town.

Coco Beach is a gorgeous resort. The pool is one of the main highlights. You have to experience it! The rooms are super luxurious and the staff is absolutely amazing! They go above and beyond to be friendly and to make you comfortable! They also support their community through environmental education for children in the area and that sets them far above the competition! It is very nice to know they give back! Thank you Coco Beach!

Absolutely amazing! LISTEN PEOPLE! This is a no brainer, the hotel is by far the most amazing and the staff is impeccable! Very well mannered and extremely nice and willing to help with any situation you bring to the table. One thing I love is that, if they didn’t know the answer they would go find the answer or someone who does know the answer… I spent 3 days eating across San Pedro and I’m telling the restaurant at coco beach is HANDS DOWN the best… gorgeous staff and polite. I can’t say enough about this place! It’s totally amazing and thank you coco beach!

We stayed here for our honeymoon. We truly felt this was the best possible hotel to stay at. The location is great, the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is beautiful and clean. We would go back here is a heartbeat.

Wonderful place to stay on Ambergris Caye. Very fun, friendly and safe. Especially great for families. Fun excursions are easy to setup. Near the great barrier reef. Pool bar and play structure are great. Rent a go cart to go hang at San Pedro, secret beach, and other restaurant/resorts. They have a 300$ package to go ziplining, cave tubing, and ruin exploring. A bit spendy but worth it.

Absolutely gorgeous resort. Excellent staff, shout out to Jonathan in the pool bar and Gabrielle in guest services. Food was delicious, breakfast and coffee at the cafe very reasonably priced. We were there during Lobsterfest and got Lobster for 30 USD at the restaurant. Pools and hot tub were fantastic. Booked a snorkle trip to Hol Chan and shark Alley through the hotel and our guides with Tuff E Nuff were awesome (Ricky and Candy Man). Rooms on the hotel side are updated with microwaves and minifridges. Bed was super comfy. Bikes are complimentary and we took them into town several times. Paddle boards and kayaks are also complimentary. Will definitely be back!

A very beautiful place with awesome people! Rooms and hotel were very clean and updated. Our only issue was that they stopped serving food and drinks at 9:30pm. For most this isn't a concern but, for us it was an issue as we'd drink, swim and have to cut it early or go to bed without a sobering snack. We rented a cart (your means of transportation from the hotel to anywhere else) and we stocked up on everything. Rooms do have mini-fridges and microwaves!

This is a really nice resort but if you've been to a lot of resorts then you'll understand when I say there's also nothing special about it. It's also very expensive and everything costs. While we were there they had a problem with sea grass so you could not enter the water from the beach. The sea grass also smelled awful. You can take a golf cart to town but be prepared to pay and then pay again for a chiropractor because the roads are brutal. We just found this place expensive and not really special.

We just got back from spending the most amazing time at Coco Beach Resort for Spring Break. The rooms are spacious, the view from our room was spectacular, and the kids loved jumping off the rock/slide in the center of the pool. Alejandro, at the concierge desk was so helpful planning our excursions. A huge shout out to Andy, Eddie and Johnny for taking care of us at the bar. Also, I can’t forget the Tuff E Nuff catamaran crew, Marvin, Bird and Luis for an amazing day of fishing, snorkeling, the delicious food you prepared for us and all of those rum punches They really catered to us while on board. We miss this place. Can’t wait to go back.

This resort was nice. The view was great and the food at the steakhouse was very good. The steak was a double layer with butter on it. One of my favorite parts was you can rent golf carts and use complimentary bikes right from the resort. You can also order pizza right from the room. It’s right off the beach and I would stay there again if needed.

Beautiful resort. One of the nicest on the island. They have the best pool. Located on the north side of the island. You can rent a golf cart right from the resort. It's worth it to see the local sites.

This resort is beautiful but very quiet as it's about a 20 min drive from the downtown area. We were happy with the food service especially at their seated restaurant. The last evening there, my bf ordered a pizza which was very costly to say the least and he got food poisoning. We wanted more time in our room before check out because he was very sick they reluctantly allowed us to and not one person apologized. This caused us to be less than impressed with our time here.

Would highly recommend! Great pools, man made beach area, and swim up bar! Family friendly but also great for college aged visitors. Great hospitality and service. Free kayak and paddle board rentals, also equipment rentals available for small fee! Staff is awesome and friendly!

Excellent beaches, very good service.

Service is fabulous! This resort is not for those looking for a bargain… you get what you pay for. It's a good place to relax. No parties and wild people during my stay. No wild women chasing you and a real time to just relax… the only thing I didn't figure out was the bar pricing. Some days where better than others. Taxis are a bit expensive at $25 one way into town. I do plan to come back.

Coco beach is very nice piece of "eye candy" Nice to look at, but not very efficient. The hot water was rare to work. The hot tub was broken for multiple days, the staff was slow on EVERYTHING. As well as rarely got any of the prices or customers right. Nice staff. But this place needs a lot more help before I'll contemplate going back to them. Way overpriced for what you actually get. Would NOT recommend.

Friends and I had a great time here. It's a bit far from the center of Ambergris, but the ferry boats are accessible and very easy to use. Lots of activities to do here and others can be arranged too. Great and friendly staff. Beautiful place. The staff speaks English, but I would say most speak Spanish too, which was very convinient for us, since we could go back and forth with staff.

This is a great resort. The front desk helped us long before we got into country and all the way back to the airport. The bartenders were fun and drinks were great. The food was perfect and beautiful. Try the private dinner on the beach.

Amazing Resort! Great private beach, delicious food, beautiful accommodations with top notch building materials. This place is worth the money! They include use of bicycles and kayaks and will transport you to and from the airport, all included in your pricing! They even have happy hour specials at the pool bar. Best resort ever!

This place is amazing and the atmosphere is extraordinary. Everyone at the resort are so friendly and helpful. Food here is excellent and cocktails are wonderful. Everything from the cafe, fine dinning, swim up bar to the golf cart rentals it was all great. If you are wanting to do excursions you can have it all setup at the resort.

Not 5, but 6 stars. I do not exaggerate when I say this was the best vacation we have ever had. From the point we got off the plane in Belize City to the point we re-boarded 8 days later, we were treated like royalty. The Resort was clean, the staff was professional and the tours were not only great in and of themselves, but every single person facilitating them were nothing short of amazing, friendly, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Props to Chris the coordinator, Flacco, from Tuff Enuff, the tour company, who took us to Altun Ha Mayan site (and went way out of his way to give us an unforgettable experience) Eric, Scott and Dixon also from Tuff Enuff who did the Shark Ray Alley and Snorkeling tours, and the front desk and housekeeping staff who made our experience at the resort a pleasure and one to remember. We will be back, and in fact are already planning on returning next year. Coco Beach should be proud of the entire staff and we would recommend this to anyone looking for a great vacation. We have already told many people about our time there and also insisted they visit. So, thanks, guys.

Beautiful resort with wonderfully helpful staff! The room was nice but the bed was a little hard for my taste. Both pools are fantastic with a jacuzzi as well. They are very accomodating and bikes and golf carts are available for rent. Food is pretty good as well and a few vegetarian options. Well worth the visit and plan to return.

Very nice resort. Food is hit or miss. Pools are great. Happy hour and Joe the bartender are awesome. Rent a golf cart or take water taxi and go to town for better and more cost effective food options although the chicken nachos and ribeye and pizza were pretty awesome. Would recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Coco Beach resort. We had planned on only staying for three nights, but we kept extending our stay because we were having such a good time.

I have been all over the world. My wife, brother and sister in law stayed for 5 days at CocoBeach. Could not have been more impressed. Great staff, clean rooms, great food. Internet is sketchy, at best but… you are in Belize… enjoy Belize! Make sure you hit Estells.
