Greg and staff treated us like family — the extra touches, thoughts, accommodations, and suggestions of what to do and where to eat MADE our trip. Everyone on Caye Caulker knew Greg and was delighted in him, making it even easier for us to get around and enjoy the Caye. We cannot wait to return! From the modern, a/c cabana, and roof top access/360° views of the water, to the wonder, filling breakfast, to the amazing weather and activities — having our base at Yocamatsu made it all the better! You would be remiss to not not book at Yocamatsu and let Greg take care of you!

Everything about Yocamatsu was perfect! The location, the food, the accommodations, the hosts, the view, I could go on and on. Greg and Ellis run an incredible business where they truly care about each guest and will go out of their way to make sure you are having the best time on Caye Caulker possible. The wife and I will be returning to the island simply so we can stay here again!

Our experience at yocamatsu was enjoyable from check in to check out. Our room was comfortable, clean, well air conditioned and had a caribbean vibe. Best view in Caye Caulker for breakfast is accompanied by Greg’s creative cooking skills. Ellis is very accommodating and knowledgeable! We would definitely stay there again.

If I could give greater than a five star I would. Greg went above and beyond helping us, making sure we arrived safely by preparing in advance our transportation. The room was clean and beautified to make our stay pleasant. Greg and Ellis were very informative, helping us navigate the best place to go for tours and food. By the way, when you meet Greg, ask him how he came up with the name “Yocamatsu”. You will have a laugh and start saying, “Yocamatsu”.

Yocamatsu is a place where you can feel like home! I would definitely suggest everyone to live the privilege of staying at Yocamatsu. Especially Ellis is a multitask problem solver with a great character and a big smile on his face! One little thing to be improved is the variety of breakfast. I would like to see more Mediterranean influence on breakfast :) rather than that everything is perfect!

Best all-around lodging experience of our two weeks in Belize! Clean, comfortable room, great company, and a wonderful breakfast ensure that we'll definitely stay with Yocamatsu when we come back to Belize. Very appreciative of all that you provided for the two of us. Keep goin' slow!

Was absolutely wonderful. The food was great, the knowledge of where to out to eat, places of interest was absolutely great. My service was great. I give it a 100.

The best thing about Yocamatsu has to be the people. Ellis and Greg were the most gracious hosts we had during our two-week Belize honeymoon. It felt like living with good friends and my wife and I were taken such good care of. Breakfast is delivered to your room to enjoy on your porch, prepared by Greg. Always delicious! Couldn't recommend Yocamatsu more!

My wife and I can 1000% recommend to stay at the Yocamatsu. Cozy rooms, great breakfast and a rooftop bar. The best about the Yocamatsu though are the hosts Ellis and Greg. Truly wonderful people that will make you feel at home.

This bed and breakfast was great. Greg, the owner, made sure we had everything we needed. He met us at the water taxi doc and took us to his B&B. The breakfasts were great — he always asked us what we wanted. He even took us over to show us where to feed Tarpon (big fish) on the other side of the island (5-10 minute walk). On the top of the B&B is a look-out/bar area. We found ourselves there quite a bit to enjoy a cocktail and the views! Highly recommend!

What an excellent experience! Greg and Ellis were the best hosts we've had in a long time. Everything was taken care of, their recommendations were spot on and the conversation was excellent. I highly recommend a holiday with them.

You won't find a more comfortable, inviting place to stay or a better host than Greg. He not only made sure we had everything we needed on-site, but also helped us with all our travel-related dilemmas (lost luggage, broken cell phone, cancelled flights). Millie was a godsend too, giving me lots of tips about diving and local places not to be missed. Great breakfasts tailored to your daily schedule, beautiful scenery, ideal location. Don't miss an opportunity to stay here!

I have stayed at Yocamatsu 4x's! Its the only place I will stay when on the Island. The staff are super friendly, the rooms are very clean, with A/C, closet space, and mini fridge. Its like staying with friends! Its located in the heart of Island close to everything, but super private and quiet. My favorite part is the rooftop bar which is 4 stories up and the views are breath taking! Everyday is a beautiful sunset full of color! I would recommend this place to anyone coming to Caye Caulker! They make you fresh breakfast and coffee every morning! The only B&B on, the, Island!
