Fantastic meat, beautiful building and atmosphere. Strangely bad service.

Fantastic food if you like meat.

Had great Belgium meat specialties for lunch together with a sample of their house brewed beers. Very enjoyable!

Probably the best meat restaurant at all.

Unfortunately, the quality and service has decreased in recent years!
During the last visit we did not receive the ordered meat in the desired consistency even after complaint.
The cook was totally overwhelmed. The staff did not respond to complaints. One has the feeling that the owners don't care if a guest is satisfied and that at steak prices of €32 for a steak.
I have often been there in recent years, but it is getting worse from year to year. The meat is of good quality but if you do not get the desired consistency the best meat is not good and the enjoyment becomes a frustration.
To the rooms I can only say that they are large but the cleanliness could be significantly improved.

Probably the best open fire steak restaurant in the area. Large choice of steaks, they come in later quantities and are truly delicious. You'll not leave on an empty stomach.

Very beautiful place located 5 km from Bruges. Very nice room. With Hamman and sauna outside… Breakfast continental very full in a room of the abbey. Rustic very nice.

Great beef, oysters, and location. Come early and enjoy the sculptures.

My friend and I visited here tonight on a recommendation from a local and I can honestly say that this was the best food I have ever eaten in my entire life! Loved it. Very friendly staff and very good service. One waiter even translated the dessert menu for us as he could see we were on our phones trying to Google translate! Highly recommended and a privilege to have eaten here.

Lovely lunch in a pretty area. Huge historic tithe barn which I believe is one of the oldest original buildings in Belgium. Staff are quick and attentive, food is tasty and well presented.

For years we have always been a beautiful stage destination. Impressive the old barn. Changing art exhibitions in the open-air area and of course a very courteous service. Very friendly staff. Always like.

Atmosphere is great. Food is excellent. Fries could be warmer.

We ate very well. Grilled Chateaubriand and béarnaise exceptional house! Excellent wine.
On the other hand antipathic personnel who snubbed us of our arrival. None made the effort to speak to us in French…
Establishment or children are not welcome, even if they are calm and wise… My little guy was ignored from start to finish, and we treated him like intruders. As a bonus, the baby chair broke in full meal (my loulous was still very quiet and only 11 kg…) They did not even apologize and did not even ask if the child was not injured…
Very salty Addition. No commercial gesture for the chair incident. Dismal.

First class family run restaurant. Known for the roasted steaks and regional dishes like eel. A must visit when in the area.

Not easy to find, but once you reach the place you dive into something that is more than a restaurant.
Cote in the oss cut and cooked on the grill, beer brewed from the farm, what do you want most?
A cosy and rustic who betray not the most enticing.
Not recommended: Crème brulée.
