Reviews of Camping Baalse Hei
We spent a week here this summer (July 2018). Camping pitches are spacious, situated along the edges of rectangular fields. Every single pitch has a water tap. Take care to have a pitch on the shady side of the field. Also remember to keep some change as having a hot shower costs 50 cents. Having a cold one for free is not an option. Nothing much special about the place although it offers a natural pond for swimming. Fresh bread is available on order but not before 9am. I recommend driving down to the village of Retie for a canoe trip down the river Nete. It takes you through a pretty part of the country. Not for thrill seekers.
➜ Beautiful Place. Except in addition to the waste collection point — deep into the night the loud clanging of the tons of cover us so smelly, that we fled after one night.
