The worst experience ever! I mean every word. So we were a group of 20 odd people with 10 plus rooms. Stayed there, July last week (Tomorrow Land weekend). Here’s my list of reasons: 1. No room service 2. The hotel staff stole my adapter — so I could buy one from their reception 3. Even though I had Do Not Disturb on my door knob the house keeping entered my room — no apologies whatsoever 4. Rude staff 5. I felt like I was at a hostel, we (me & my husband) didn’t get a queen bet got twin beds and the coild were out — pokey beds Please do yourself a favour and look someplace else, the ONE star that I gave was because of the hotel location — that is the only PLUS about Astoria. Also, dear management, please train your front office staff to be a little friendly. Won’t HURT.

Nice clean hotel found on the way back from the MotoGP at Assen 2018. Good breakfast and a secure underground car park (great for bikes)

My daughter and myself spent a week in Antwerp in July. We stayed at the Astoria Hotel. Our visit to the city was delightful and our stay at the hotel made our trip so enjoyable. The proximity to the railway station is so convenient. The hotel itself needs modernisation. Rooms are basic but comfortable. Nice to have a bath in the bathroom. Tea and coffee available in the room. Bedroom was clean and spacious. However, what the hotel lacks was more than adequately made up for by the charming and helpful staff. From check in to check out the staff made sure that all our needs were met. Special thanks to Henri who manned the reception at night. Such a gentleman. Polite and friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

Stayed here as part of a larger Belgium trip, situated just minutes from the train station and everything else in Antwerp, it’s a large, comfy hotel, does a good breakfast, sells an interesting range of goods in reception — ice cream, alcohol, chocolate and English spoken throughout.

Decent hotel and location. The hotel is easy to find and is close from the central station (circa 10-15 mins walk), and 15-20 minutes away form the places of interest and old areas. The receptionist service if friendly and professional. The hotel itself is clean, secure (near the police), and has ample space for a double bedroom. The interior style itself is not ultra modern and could be refurbished, though is still most importantly well kept, clean and maintained at a hotel standard. The free Wi-Fi has good reception, breakfast buffet provided the classic spread. Worth noting there is city tax in addition to the booking, and you have to pay before staying. Overall, good value and welcoming staff.

Nice hotel nice staff, join simple but quiet setting. Speak English and Dutch (only small downside for non-polyglot people… but in Belgium quite common…)

Very quiet city center a great comfort room with flat screen TV cafetier electric, private bathroom with hairdryer a warm welcome.

The Astoria Hotel is a very simple hotel, but was enough for us. The location is very good, in a quiet place. It´s possible to go to the main tourist points by foot. The staff was very polite and we didn´t have any problem. The room is confortable with a clean bathroom. It´s a good choice if you don´t wanna luxe.

Thanks for a very nice stay at your hotel. The room was just like the picture and a good size. The biggest plus was the people at the reception, very serviceminded. The breakfast was ok, but not a great.
Think we will come back, maybe next year.

The hotel is nice, located near the train station. The home is not French-speaking. Possibility of leaving the business to the setpoint. The rooms are good, spacious with a bathtub. Rather top of the range.

Very nice hotel. Located on a quiet street within walking distance from the city centre as well as Antwerp Central Station. Rooms were quite compact however, though not an issue if staying over the weekend.

Classic Room without a great personality. The first one that was given to us literally reeked of cigars, no worries to change. At night, the air conditioning is too noisy. The hotel is quite far from the centre of Antwerp. Breakfast is also average. The staff does not speak French.

Hotel is nice and clean for acceptable price. I can only recommend.

We spend a long weekend in the Astoria and had a great stay in Antwerp. Friendly and helpfull staff, good and clean rooms and plenty of choice for breakfast. The location is also perfect for exploring Antwerp. Everything worth visiting is within walking distance. Next time we visit Antwerp we will defenitly book a room at the Astoria again.

I was here for one night with my girlfriend. The room was very neat and checking in and out went fluently. On the day of our departure, we could leave our luggage there so we could spend another day in the city without having to carry it around. Breakfast was also well done, although the coffee wasn't great. All in all, we got everything we expected. I'd definitely go here again, and not only because of the coupon we received at the end. :-).

Nice hotel in the center of Antwerp. Friendly staff. A bit disappointed that there is no Wi-Fi in the room, no safe and no minibar.

Now I am staying within Astoria Hotel apartment, which is large, clean, has wireless internet included in price. Staff is very nice.
