Second year running we have stayed at the hotel. Both stays were great, fabulous quality of rooms, lovely staff, great service.

Fantastic hotel in the middle of Bastogne, convenient for lots of different parts of the Ardennes. Rooms are very comfortable, food was excellent, especially the comprehensive breakfast in the mornings. The owners are great. Will definitely be returning.

I'll rate this from the perspective of it being in Europe. Most places dont have air conditioning, further still nearly all don't have a fan and even give you attitude if you ask. The Melba provided a fan with our room. That being said the staff was friendly and accomidating, the room was updated and clean. It looked well kept and not worn out. The breakfast was okay, definitely better than most in America, especially the coffee. If you are in Bastogne I would definitely recommend.

Excellent hotel in a great location to downtown Bastogne! Rooms are very nice, clean, and well maintained. The staff was friendly and very helpful with recommending local attractions. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. Complimentary Wi-Fi offered excellent service and easy connection.

Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. The food served is of a high-quality, the hotel is well located for the entre of Bastogne. Enjoyed the breakfast very much, lots of choices to suit everyone, a great way to start the day.

Nice hotel in a quiet location near disused train station where the railway line was turned into a wheel-/Wanderweg, for example, there can be relaxed to the memorial, War Memorial, walk and enjoy on this an impressive panorama!

This is a fantastic hotel in a great location. Staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and a great size.

A modern hotel, about 250 meters from the city centre.
It is quietly located and still within short reach of shops and restaurants.
The staff is friendly, although not all speak English. I would have liked to have a contact person at breakfast time (morning greeting, to be accompanied to the table, to get coffee or tea in a can), I felt left there somewhat alone, since I had my problems with the vending machine.
The breakfast itself was extensive and very good.
The beds were great, the room had a safe and a mini bar, the bathroom was very well equipped.
Unfortunately, the hotel's restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
There are historical sights in the area.
I would stay there again at any time.

I thought the hotel was a good value for the price. We went in late Autumn, so no problem with parking. They had a lot in the rear and plenty of parking on the street. The location was also good. We were far enough away from the town center that it was quiet, but within an easy walk to everything.

Absolutely fabulous! Right in the heart of historic Bastogne. Walking distance to some great dining options. Staff were incredible, most friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with a large beautiful balcony and free parking. I highly recommend the Hotel Melba. I would return here again & again & again. Don't miss the superior museums in Bastogne about the Battle of the Bulge. So much history in this town. Living proof that freedom is not free. Thank you Hotel Melba for making ours a great visit.

Folks, this hotel is perfect as far as value is concerned. Less than $100. Super clean. New interior. Comfortable bed and temperature. Very quiet. Free breakfast. In downtown. Very friendly staff. They helped me find the local recommendations for French food. This is the first hotel I've left a review because I'm impressed. Would be compared to a $300/night stay in the US.

Nice Best Western! Really cute and quaint place to stay in walking distance of the square. Breakfast is fresh and local. The only thing is the staff-I believe who are the owners-work all day, everyday so this maybe why their attitudes are not so welcoming. Honestly, I was a bit taken back because I felt so welcomed everywhere I visited in Belgium. This is not typical of Best Western either!

Nice hotel, spacious room. Good cleanliness. very nice people, the lady (owner) was very helpfull and spoke good dutch. breakfast was substantial, good spread of cold cuts and cheeses.
