Stupid and poor customer service. I’ve been calling since 11am today for brunch on July 1 and your staff are always promising me a call back! I will understand if they will tell me ITS FULLY BOOK AND WE CAN NOT RESERVE YOU ANYMORE A TABLE! But instead they keep hanging me and keep telling me “give me your number and someone will call you back”… is that how you treat your customers? I called 5th time today and same answer “give me your number and someone will call me back”. If I didn’t tell them that I am so pissed already they will not tell me that’s it is fully book already! They said “no one calls because we are already fully booked”. Then you should have informed me from the first call! But you keep promising me a call back! I will not be pissed instead and I will understand it! TRAIN YOUR STAFF ON HOW TO ANSWER CUSTOMERS!

3/10* I would recommend if you’re in a LARGE group (more than six) and looking for a brunch to dance, listen to great music, and want to have a great time, do not spend your time or money here. We sat out in the pool area and the music could not be changed from their low pace elevator tones and constant bombardment of flies while you’re trying to eat. Of course all your tables will be split so it makes being in a larger group unattractive. Inside there is live music but you aren’t allowed to dance… just told to sit still in your chair. They also cut off drinks 45-30 minutes before your time block ends.
Please take your 38-30 BD anywhere else.

Beautifully refurbished. It was lovely before, but now its so Chic. Lovely staff both in hotel and the Spa. Bartender recognised both my husband and myself. He could remember what my husband liked to drink. We hadn't been there for a few years. Always makes us feel very special. They now have a lady playing a Piano in the lounge. So relaxing. I’ve only been here for brunch. It’s pretty good, better than many on the island. They have an evening meat “brunch” on Thursday nights, it’s ok. Both are a good excuse to eat a bit and drink a lot.

I stayed in this hotel few months ago and I enjoyed it. The staff and the place was excellent. Thhis time it is just the opposite. The noise due to renovation, the incovenience of moving within the hotel facilities and the front desk staff were not up to the standard. They look they are there working for free with no interest to help the customer. The porter was standing there just looking. No initiative It was bad. The food however was great.

The service at the Bahrain Mövenpick is extremely good and perfectly organised and very professional. We appreciate the friendliness and the highly performed service culture of the Mövenpick staff. The currently ongoing renovation works are very well organized so that they create as little as possible disturbance for the guests. As we are frequent travellers and stay at hotels very often, we know that there are high priced hotels in the region which need renovation much more urgently than the Mövenpick in Bahrain does. They really strive to do everything to make their guests feel spoiled and at home.

My family and I have been using this hotel for the last 12 months and can not fault anything about it. Everyone from the manager Mr Pasquale to all the staff and especially Ian the head chef, make this hotel the best we have tried in Bahrain. Even during the renovation period, the facilities are 5 star and the team so friendly. My family travel from the UK every 2 months to meet me here and will not accept any other hotel we have tried in Bahrain.

Great hotel, staff were ultra friendly and always willing to accommodate requests, hotel was classy, well kept clean and comfortable. Very impressed. I will recommend this hotel for F1 races in future and will be staying here myself again. Thank you!

All amenities are available. Just opposite to airport. Waking distance actually. Some trendy restaurants are there. Sushi are really good. Good place for office gathering.

I haven't stayed here, so can't comment on Room and other internal services but our office had booked the conference room along with Lunch/Dinner for two days. Overall the facilities were quite good. Food was very good. Nicely arranged and very good, well aquainted staff. Will definitely recommend others for using such facilities here. It's at 5 minutes of walking distance from airport.

Although a bit older, this hotel is well maintained, and its services are dependably good. The restaurants feature not only nice buffets, but special cuisine nights. The hotel overlooks the Arad bay, and is walking distance to the airport, so very convenient for meetings and such. It has good facilities including tennis courts, a spa, and meeting rooms.

Movenpick is approximately a 5 minute walk from the airport, but you feel like it is a resort located many miles away. It is a beautiful hotel, with a fantastic pool and an excellent gym. The breakfast is sumptuous, with so many different selections from so many different places. The staff are friendly, helpful and warm. They provide a free shuttle to the center of Manama as well.

I had booked a king room, I received a twin room and the front office staff were not prepared to change. I asked the next morning to be moved to another room as my neighbour had a non stop crying child. I was told to come back at 4pm. I came back to the hotel at 5h15pm. I was told I would be moved in an hour. I was never moved. I found mouldy Edam cheese on the breakfast buffet. The breakfast spread is poor for a Movenpick hotel. I came to Bahrain to test rooms for the F1 Grand Prix — your hotel has been taken off my list as I would not want one of my clients to have the experience I had.

The top rated airport hotel in the world, Mövenpick Bahrain really does live up to its titles and prizes. The room was inspected and ready in 5 minutes after we checked in and looked magnificent. Breakfast buffet had a great variety and included alcohol and pork for non-Muslims.

I love the breakfast buffet! Look forward to indulging every time I visit! Absolutely outstanding. Love the poached eggs with hollandaise and spinach! Keep up the good work. The only change I would make would be to have a light on in the room when you check in after dark. I understand that the key card activates the lights but it IS nice to at least have a small light on in the room to get your bearings.

First time back to the Movenpick in 10 years and it definitely lived up to all the reviews. Our waiter Mahendra was on point the service was amazing some of the best on the island. Thank you for an amazing lunch we had an amazing time with friends. We will return. A special thanks to Mahendra.

A great place with very friendly staff. We were with a small child and they did everything to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Breakfast is fantastic and the garden is extremely beautiful!

I had my wedding here, and everything was just superb. The ease and convenience for me in getting everything arranged was the best part. The stay at the Hotel was also impeccable and aligned with 5 star service.

Went for the Friday brunch — Lots of buffet items to choose from. My favourite is the wok station. You get to choose how you would like your meats, fish or vegetables cooked. Choices include Thai, grilled, stir fried etc. There are several vegetables you can include also. It's a bit in the pricey side so you may want to call to check the price. Reservation are recommended, it's very popular. There's also a live band playing a variety of music, Latin, pop, oldies etc.

My favourite hotel in the Middle East. A great location or he airport, ten minutes from the city center. A nice walking track around the lake. The buffet is astonishing. Best aspect of all — the staff, they are all professional and gracious. Highly recommended.

Great view, place. Room was clean, bed is comfortable, pillows aren’t. I liked the lobby with the Christmas decoration. Very friendly staff. Restaurant is okay, not too many options for breakfast. Bar is good, great for relaxing. After all it was a pleasant stay.

Thoroughly enjoyable weekend stay at the friendliest most welcoming hotel in Bahrain. We decided to stay at the Movenpick Bahrain for my birthday having experienced on many occasions their Friday Brunch, Thursday night Brunch and always having the best food and service of any other hotel or restaurant we have frequented in Bahrain. The whole team could not have been any more attentive in making our stay relaxing and enjoyable, exceeding our expectations throughout our stay. Our suite was of superb standard with an amazing balcony, superb view and the most comfortable bed and relaxing lounge. I would highly recommend this hotel, whether you are looking for a fantastic restaurant and brunch or looking for a vacation hotel, this hotel and the fantastic team are truly impressive.

Close to the Bahrain airport, yet silent. Has rooms with views to the lagoon. Seemingly an old hotel with a decent upkeep. Good facilities & a wide buffet breakfast spread. Wi-Fi connectivity (signal strength) in the room needs immediate improvement.

Came to the Friday brunch and so far our of the other 3 places I've give this place is hands down the best, Amazing good selection, great specialty bars for free and a full bar on the patio deck. Live music great atmosphere.

Stayed here for almost two weeks. Was very happy with the customer service, in particular the poolside host Eman. He made sure my group was well taken care of, and he always had a smile on his face. Morning buffet (included in room cost) was outstanding. My only complaints: Room card needed to remade every few days for some reason. They would sporadicly just stop working. Drinks and food are a bit pricey. Great quality — but expensive.

From delicious food to friendly staff, hospitality to greeting faces, economy clean room to hygienic washrooms, Hotel is Kids friendly less! There is no Kids play area or activity room, they have put football stands on the garden. Pool is for above 12 yrs old kids. Nothing for toddlers at all. Tennis court is available but toddlers can't go there. No toddler or baby channel is available. Hotel provides Disney channel (for adolescent age) and Spacetoon only (that's in Arabic and very aggressive cartoon).

The hotel is beautiful, but my rating is heavily influenced by the brunch buffet.

Nice hotel, great location as its just a stone throw away from the airport, but not so great if you need to get into central Bahrain as you'll need to cross the bridges, which at peak time can be havoc. On the bright side, pleasantly surprising food at the buffets, would definitely recommend!

I have accessed to the pool paying 10BHD as a single (quite difficult to find! ) … the area is nice, music is good, Internet Lille slow… The servers are nice but the overall service is very slow… they might need extra support in the weekend!
