You get what you pay. Basic room with bed and fan. Room was clean and staff was friendly and nice. Around this hotel, there are few restaurants open in the afternoon. We have to walk around 20 — 30 mins to get to the center to find a place to eat lunch.

Generally enjoyed my stay. Public transport (U-bahn) is not too close, but walkable in a 5 minutes and some traffic lights. Quiet area. I had a double room for me alone, but the beds, although adjacent, didn't allow for comfortable star-fish sleeping, and there were two smaller blankets instead of one big one. Probably could have got that fixed, but didn't ask. Traveled alone and was a bit annoyed at breakfast, because there were loud children and parents. Also missed wholegrain bread, most bread I saw didn't seem an adequate source of energy. The choice of yogurt and muesli (-likes) was nice though.

It's a great hotel. A good location. Good parking. Downtown.

It was all great. The staff very nice, dear, helpful. The food was delicious. The rooms practical, clean. It is very good that you also have a room where the children can play together late at night. We were all very pleased and will be back next year.

Very clean and well maintained. However, I personally did not notice so much about the soundproofing. The street noise and the opening and closing of the neighbouring room doors can be heard very clearly. Very small TV. But for cleanliness and insinuation in combination, still 4 stars.

Staff could not do enough to help. Room accommodating 3 was comfortable and well-provisioned — although as a minor point you may wish to ask for a shower mat. Efficient hotel Wi-Fi and a great breakfast. Staff didn't hurry us out at 10.30 either. Soft drinks easily available from the drinks cabinet at reception. One of the top 3 budget hotels in Vienna — highly recommended!

Really good hotel for position and services. Big, cozy and clean room. Very available staff. The shared kitchen really useful (we stayed with our 18 month old son). The buffet breakfast very good.

It was the worst experience with budget hotels I ever had. For about EURO 90 per day for a single room (single bed), I got a tiny room with no proper windows (only small ones, which you can open with a wooden stick (I was lucky it was already in the room) ), with ongoing construction works starting at 6 AM and leaving no chance to sleep (staff could have warned about it and at least offer earplugs in the evening). My pillow was terrible, it felt like I was sleeping on a piece of plastic. Design of the room is rather unattractive and comfortless. Nevertheless, the bathroom was quite OK, breakfast was good for its price. The location also good (close to metro station, in the vicinity to the Danube)

Very quiet hotel. The awakening-morning is the birds! Well located not far from the Centre, easy access on foot or by public transport.

Me and two other friends of mine stayed at this hotel for three days in April.
I have to say that excellent quality-price (we had managed to also find a discount offer months before)
The room is big and with all the comforts. Bathroom and clean room.
Close to the bus stop, but we could go downtown even on foot without any problems.
There are all possible services (luggage storage, bicycles, breakfast, free Wi-Fi etc).

In summer there is certainly no air conditioning… it was quickly warm in the room… and at night a few young hotel guests or other tourists are very noisy on the way.

Room walls Unfortunately too thin, so the noisy conversations of the Italian neighbors were sleep-robbing.

We stayed with our children for 3 days in Vienna. The hotel was really awesome. Clean rooms, Comfortable BEDS. Great subway connection and a really rich breakfast buffet. We'll Be back.

At first we had a little problem with the room that was allotted to Us. After we gave notice at the reception, this was fixed immediately by assigning us a new room. After all, the stay was perfect due to the good location.

My 5 year-old girls enjoy the bunk bed, but going up and down wasnt safe for them. So we had to be careful with it. Otherwise the breakfast was excellent, especially the teas, juices and the pates. The staff was nice and helpful. I can truly recommend for short or longer stay for everyone.

Really awesome hotel near the centre of Vienna. It provides breakfast and lunch packets, which are amazing. Staff is very kind and great. Rooms are clean and neat. The price is really low, ideal for budget travellers. I totally recommend this awesome place.

Magnificent! It is well located near a metro stop, clean and comfortable rooms, the best without a doubt the treatment of the girls of the reception, were very nice, friendly and offered us services such as printing some bus tickets in addition to storing the luggage totally free and selflessly, an absolute pracer, Thank you!

Nice hotel within walking distance of the center (20 mins in bad weather slow pace). The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we had was quaint (under the roof) and the windows were so high that there seemed to be no. The rest is great for your money.

It was a positive experience: spacious family room, smiling and discreet staff, practical services (kitchen made available, luggage storage, waiting room), hotel well situated (5 mn from a metro station), shops nearby, 10 mn from Centre of Vienna.

Not so good for individuals, the mattress are too thin, too many beds in my room, is a hotel for groups or families with children, Wi-Fi very good the TV apparatus was too small and too high, I could not see correctly! Lack of glamour! Advantages: The breakfast very good, but too little staff to serve (I had to clear the dishes alone, that is hard to believe in Vienna! )

A good hotel, small but functional and clean rooms. Is 500 Mt. From the Taborstrasse Metro station that with three stops (albeit with different lines) you will arrive in Stephanplaz the centre of Vienna, or on foot with a walk of 15 min. Many locals and supermarkets nearby. Recommended.

I stayed with a friend and we both loved everything in the hotel. We found great to have a kitchen, my friend is vegan so we could prepare our own breakfast everyday avoiding to have the buffet one. We also enjoyed to play a couple times the billiards. The room was comfy, clean and warm. The location is good as well, although in a very cold day it can seems a little bit far to go on foot up to the city center.

It is a practical hotel. No frills but with interesting services like a kitchen to prepare your food or to wash your clothes. It is close to the center.

I felt I was staying in an ordinary hotel. The distribution, decorations and furniture did not differ from what you would expect a regular hotel to be. It was located near the city centre and well connected to the U-bahn. The staff was young, friendly and helpful. The check-in time was scheduled by 3 p. M. But our room was ready by the time we arrived (1.30 p. M. ) so we did not have to wait and we could leave our luggage immediately. Fully recommended!

I stayed in several hotels this chain in different countries. I liked the experience. The staff usually speaks at least four languages and are quite friendly. It is not a luxury hotel but the facilities are good and there is good maintenance. They rent bikes, they sell you packed lunches, they store your luggage, they have option to late check in. Actually, for the price, it's totally worth it. I could stay here again.

The hotel is well according to the cost. Their staff is friendly. Be careful at night because it is on the other side of the Danube and when you want to cross the bridge that is close to the hotel we were waiting to storm. The rest is good and has good parking.

Nice small hotel with very friendly staff who are all eager to assist you. The rooms are adequate for the night sleep, clean and tidy, location is good, quiet street and they offer parking service, it's walking distance to Vienna center and there a market place and supermarket nearby. The also have a lounge for guest and free Wi-Fi access. If you are looking for a place just for sleeping and you will be spending most of the day out, this is a great value for money.

It was very pleasant. The hotel was centrally located and close to the places I wanted to visit. The subway is only a few minutes away and you can also walk to the center! The décor of the room was perfect for my needs and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were always friendly.

Were there for a long weekend. The prices are "okay" for this area.
The camps of the hotel is very good as you can explore the city to a large extent on foot.
The breakfast buffet is nothing special but sufficient and is constantly replenished fresh.

One of the best hotels of this price category in which I happened to visit. Clean new rooms, great setting, good Wi-Fi anywhere, kitchen for guests. The only downside is that the breakfasts are not included in the price by default.

Can't fault this hotel for the price I paid at all, great value for money. The room was clean and comfortable. The place had a young relaxed vibe but all the creature comforts of a hotel. It's random to say but it's the only hotel I ever stayed in where the hairdryer actually drys my hair in less than 10 mins! The location is also great not far from Vienna centre and close to the underground.

This hotel is one of the cheapest I have found in Vienna.
The rooms are comfortable and modern.
The reception was very friendly with young people in the nursery.
Only small downside the bed for a third person is a seat not very comfortable you feel the buttons of the mattress. Other small downside, there are two Meininger Hotel at 500m from each other the downtown Sissi and the dowtown Franz we managed to booked a room in each hotel with my colleagues.

The rooms are good, clean and modern. The receptionist very polite. The breakfast good but I miss croissant! I will come back!

Very good and affordable price for a 3 star. Near to almost every thing a tourist may need. Just faces some noise in the morning I think it was the garbage truck.

Room too warm. Asked for an early check in as travelling very early hours of the morning to get there. Not available on arrival. Yet had booked hotel 6 months previous. Room tidied most days but not cleaned. Sheets not changed depsite 33 degree weather and we were there 7 days. Continual had the extra pillow that was being used removed back to the spare bed. No pillow slip for the 7 days it was used. Bar downstairs never had a member of staff on for it reception had to cover this as well. Lights always switched off. Made to feel like it was not for use. Have stayed at other hotel from this company. Always have been great. Standards here need to be looked at much lower than the other hotels. Reception staff great but being charged with too many tasks for one person.

The hotel was as expected except for the fact that it does not have any air conditioning. This made it especially difficult to sleep as the temperature outside was quite high and our room was a family room for four people. Even with an open window throughout the night, it is definitely a hotel that I do not recommend in the hotter days. Hotel is clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is well worth the money.

Beds were comfortable and the room very clean. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good too, varied enough. You have two underground stations and S-Bahn near the hotel, and a restaurant and a pizzeria that are very good. The first time I hosted in Meininger was very satisfying and that was the reason I choose you again.

Just a 15 minute walk to the city centre, the Meininger hotel is situated in a great location for visiting the sights of Vienna as well as local restaurants. The rooms are clean & modern & the staff friendly & helpful. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Great little hotel close to Vienna centre with easy access to metro and other public transportation. Breakfast was OK and staff friendly. Only fault was perhaps the cost of off road parking (€20 per day) and a restaurant on site would have been of benefit. Would we go back … yeah.

Very well located Hotel if you are district 1, district 2 of Vienna quickly want to achieve. We were 4 days in the Hotel and it was a pleasant stay.

I would recommend that they will be notified to guests of the urban parking signage because they put me a fine for parking in a square in front of the hotel that was marked as residents. Ignorance of the language we identified that it could not Park.

For me as a Anrainerin is the "Hotel Downtown Sissi is a nightmare, for the following reasons: The Hotel has no air conditioning, the Windows of the guest rooms are in the Morning and in the evening open, you hear more very loud the resounding chatter and laughter of the guests until well after midnight. (for example, Handytelefonate at the window, arguments). In the courtyard where the Parking is located, it is also very loud. There are diesel engines left running, you hear loud music from the Car radio. Some of the children of the guests play in front of the arrival and departure just on this Parking lot. The cleaning staff talking loudly in the breaks, in the courtyard, the acoustics such as the Opera house! I mean, there must be for those guests with their peace want to have a Problem. I recommend my guests this Hotel not book!

We are very satisfied and we got more then we had expected and thank you for that. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was very clean when we arrived and every day after that. We have never been in such clean hotels room. Beds were very confortable and linen had a great quallity. Our children are delighted and cannot wait for our next stay in Meininger hotel in Vienna. Just a notice: It would be nice if there was a mini fridge in the room. It is complicated if you have to go to the kitchen's fridge for a cold water or juice. Except that, everything was perfect. Rooms were clean. Bathrooms were clean and provided everything you need. Great location. Wifi is not very trustworthy and unique code is given to each device. Location is walking distance from downtown (about 10 minutes). Close to the river. Breakfast is same of European hotels (light). Have a washer and dryer and a kitchen.

We have been in August, with the heat wave and not had air conditioning in the rooms. The first night almost sleepless by heat. The next day, they gave us a fan plastiquero on bail and with some difficulty since they were very much in demand. The poor buffet breakfast.

Despite the low price were the rooms very modern and well maintained. The provision of gluten — free and lactose-free Breakfast and a Packed lunch was with a phone call about 3 weeks before without any problems. The selection at Breakfast was not as large as in a more expensive Hotel, but for my taste it is absolutely sufficient. I particularly liked the kitchen, in the at any time even to cook something and store your food. In the high season it could be a bit tight. Because of the good experience I think, sometimes one of the other Hotels to visit in Europe.
