Nice little guesthouse with tradition. Good cosy rooms with flair and nice people. Breakfast was good.

No complaints at all. Terrific location, right near Stephanplatz and walking distance to all the central attractions. Room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were always super friendly, and breakfast was good (standard continental with great sausages and mediocre bacon and scrambled eggs). It's fairly pricey, but we had it included in our room rate so I can't complain! Overall, no problem recommending this place.

Absolutely fantastic atmosphere! Very helpful staff with quaint old rooms that reminded me of home. Very old fashion with a strong Bed and Breakfast vibe, with a really great location in the center of Vienna. Would highly recommend to anyone!

In the Pension City is located directly on Stephansplatz, one would be greeted kindly and the rooms were well equipped. When I go to Vienna again, I will certainly stay there again.

Great staff but this is the floor of a building so it's not a conventional hotel.

Pension city is clean and had accomodating staff. The bathrooms were clean and relatively new and modern. There was a thermostat that controlled a unit mounted near the ceiling. The floors are carpeted but have wooden floors underneath that squeak incredibly loudly. It is easy to hear a roommate or passerby.

Perfect location, kind thoughtfulstaff, great breakfasts, mild smell from the required electric sewage system. But I'd stay there again.

Excellent location. Care of 10. They waited us with some fruits and chocolates. All nice and clean ideal xa spend 3 or 4 days in Vienna.

We stayed at City Pension in Vienna in May 2015 for 2 nights. Location was wonderful — Right near St Stevens Cathedral, allowing us to visit numerous times as we walked to other sites. Staff was very helpful and make us feel welcomed valued and pampered. We found a bouquet of fresh roses and a bowl of fresh fruit in each of our rooms on arrival. Staff was very helpful with taxis, maps, suggestions for sites to see. Rooms very small but beautiful with good beds and beautiful furnishings. Breakfast room was also quite small, but with a wonderful selection of goodies for all tastes and dietary needs. Great coffee choices. I would definitely go back or recommend this hotel to friends.

Very clean and central to everything in Inner Stadl. Breakfast is good. Fair price. Will stay again if needed.

A perfect location in the heart of the city, and a perfect price for budget travellers. No frills, yet everything one needs: comfortable bed, good shower, ventilator fan, refrigerator, extremely clean and neat, excellent breakfast, especially the coffee, elevator, almost no noise from the quiet side street, helpful friendly receptionists speaking English well.

Very fast booking by e-mail without prepayment. You can arrive at any time to leave the suitcases and walking up to the time of settlement (14:00).
Very friendly staff, answers any questions, tries to help tourists. Private pure Austrian tradition, but I do not advise to take single room (too crowded).
Very nice hotel near Stephansplatz underground station.
Breakfast starts in 5:00 am so you can do everything. Minimum prices.
