Great experience and nice location for us to visited there. Hope to be there again. Good room reasonable and super Wi-Fi.

Very pleasant hostel and staff, the rooms are cozy and very clean. We were delighted.

Kitchen had a funny smell and no usefull utensils, only had one pan with a broken handle and two plates. There was no cutlery and no kettle. We had to end up asking at reception for bowls and cutlery. Staff not particularly forthcoming. However there was a good supermarket a short walk away and two metro stations.

On a level. Comfortable, cozy, close, clean.

The reason I forgive only one star is because instead of a double room, we got two single rooms. The alleged reason for this was overbooking. The booking was made 1, 5 months earlier. Even the additional booked triple room for other passengers was no longer available — instead followed the transfer to a four-bed room, in which in the end only two beds were covered.
All in all, a very disappointing stay with no accommodation on site.

Accommodation close to the Metro. Good value for money.

It's next to a street, which means it's very loud, even at night. The rooms are small but still big enough. The walls are dirty (dark spots), the should get painted again. Toilets are clean. Wi-Fi is good. The beds look unstable. Service is okay.

Room okay, breakfest is okay, It is Near a train Station, 5min to the city Hall for conzerts, to airport 40min with the bus.

Very central, practical and clean. Sadly it was very hot in the bedrooms and corridors even though it was early spring. It is also a bit noisy as it is located next to a main street.

We booked a double room which was far too small. It just fits a double bed 160x200, no place for table + chair or pastries. Location very poor and way too noisy. We were a day rather departed, we couldn't beat it. The staff were very rude to Germans, they did not let us know about the parking situation, offered no help and was delighted with the nodules of €36 which we received.

Hotel for students. The staff was very friendly and helpful. See you soon.

Basic Hotel near the Stadhalle at a metro stop from the Westbahnhof. Large room, clean with towels and bathroom soap with shower. Young staff.

Unpretentious, but dignified. Good value for money, especially if you are travelling with groups of young people and youngsters.

Dinner: It requires adaptation capacity.
The possible deficiencies are not due to the structure or the staff (very kind and helpful! ), but to the rudeness of certain users.

Room was very cramped and so hot that you could barely stand it. Nevertheless very clean and good service. Also the breakfast was great!

If I could give 0. We came for a school trip and found sheets dirty with blood or even feces, the staff has a very arrogant attitude, in the goulash there were hairs, there is no BIDET and that especially for women (in a certain period…) is Catastrophic. A window in our room does not close well, it is all dirty and the bathrooms are tiny, also in the hallways there is an incredible smell of feet. Not to mention that the girls smelled gas in the room and were liquidated with "It's just disinfectant". If… See… I would not go back even as a joke.
For feces dirty sheets I put the picture. Needless to say, that's not it. For the dirty blood towel Unfortunately I did not have the readiness to do the photo, but I think the other photo suffices and leftovers dear owner.

It was price performance relatively good however the place is not very nice. We were there in March and when we got off at the Burggasse stop we got a shock for the first time in the homeless, drug addicts or beggars who have a eyed. It seemed as if we had retracted in the focal point of Vienna. The location and rail connection is great because you come directly to the city centre or wherever you need to go.
The pictures on the homepage are of course more beautiful than it was in reality. But since we were actually just sleeping there, it didn't really bother. Conclusion: Location and connection is perfect. The place itself is very hard to fault, attention! Pockets to and eyes on one is like fresh meat for the pickpockets. Perfect for a short stay.

We were in Vienna for a city break in the A&O Stadthalle Wien. The hotel is centrally located, right on a subway station. Rooms were OK, good breakfast. There is a bar in the basement. Ideal for a short trip.

Provided your expectations are appropriately set, this place does not disappoint. The place is both a hostel and a hotel, and very bare bones. Extremely clean, friendly staff, but amenities are very spare.

The location is great and the room was clean. This is also all that was positive, the breakfast totally overpriced and not appealing, the drinks in the hotel bar at best average and the cocktails were very bad and also mixed wrong. Here is nothing to do with a little trip to the hotel bar in the evening. For a country school home or a cheap hostel sure enough but who is looking here "hotel" is definitely disappointed.

Good hotel close to the city, ideal for a town break. Very nice staff. Room very small and bathroom unfortunately something has come up in the years.

The breakfast was not good at all, in our room was still a sock from the previous guest on the floor and the bunk bed of our child we had to refer to ourselves.
Unfortunately we were not satisfied at all!

The A&O Hotel Wien Stadthalle has an insanely friendly staff. At every walk in and out of the hotel you are already looking forward to the nice young people at the reception! Always polite and cheerful. A care as she stands in the book! Only recommended! Thank you very much for the nice stay with the staff!

We are always delighted by A&O hotels. We are usually two 4 * travellers but with the children we always resort to A&O. The family room with bunk bed does not charge a double room. It was always clean, even a hair dryer was available. Shower and toilet were separated in the room. The breakfast was simple but adequate, as family simply top. The hotel is very central. We have booked the parking lot in Vienna and are with the public dangers. Good decision. Always.

Very good, central and convenient to reach even walking from the city centre, a 20 minute walk, breakfast all you can eat, very German, for my taste lacking in the sweet part, but very abundant. Clean and quite quiet, nice and friendly staff. I would definitely go back, cheap.

Staff is actually ok. But I have been to much better places for the same price. There was no soup in the toilet or bathroom. It's bit too loud because of the huge street nearby. Breakfast for 7 euros is a bit too much for the hostel, had a cheaper one in beautiful cafe nearby. Either the prices should be lower or conditions better. And the end of it all my money was stolen so if someone asks me if I ever stay there again. The answer is no.

I am very glad that I stayed at this hostel-hotel. For a child 16 years has received a substantial discount for both accommodation and breakfast 50%! This is possible if you book directly on their website (the same name). Also, I needed parking-costs 12, 50 euros a day, it's a good price for Vienna. Parking is right on the grounds, which is very convenient. The room was very clean. In general the room turned out very clean, white towels for two per person, shower gel, hair dryer, wardrobe for things, rosettes enough, daily cleaning and even disposable cups for mouthwash or to put toothbrushes. And it's in the hostel-hotel! The price was the lowest of all variety, and I chose almost a week. Excellent transport interchange-right 3 minutes metro and bus, left 5 minutes tram. The centre is 15 minutes away. The impressions are only positive. The room was clean. Especially when someone locks the door. Locks here are solid, card system-close with a crash. But this is if you pick up:) ). Yes, and after 22:00 all falls asleep… The breakfasts are excellent, there are eggs, sausage, cheese, several types of muesli, there is a spread of bread and fruit too. Good coffee… In general, probably something missing, but also it is enough to advise this place as excellent in the ratio of price-quality.

Right location (I hear the snoring of another guest in my room). As well as the slamming of doors. But since I have a deep sleep I feel this is not very annoying. The staff is very nice. The room is beautiful — simple.

Good location in the 15th district, near the metro station Burggasse City Hall. Very good value for money. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff, clean rooms. I would like to recommend further.

Staff was great. Room was very clean and the beds were stable and comfortable. Bathrooms were great. Lots of free space in the room. It would be improved if there was access to a kitchen or cooking facilities for hostel guests.

The Hotel was clean, but basic. If you are just looking for a clean place to sleep with good public transportation connections, the A&O Hotel is perfect. The staff was very friendly. The breakfast buffet was small but provided the basics like bread, eggs, fruit, milk, coffee and so on.

Maintenance is as bad as you can imagine — plugs are not functioning when you check in, there isn't even enough space to unpack and move. The toilet stinks as you can hear people in the other room very easily. Beds are not made when checked in. Just the worst place"e to stay for holidays or any sort of trips.

The rooms are as well as the bed, the windows there are neither blinds nor dark curtains. Breakfast and good.

Terrible hostel, I paid for the breakfast ahead of the time and when I got to the hostel I'm told the breakfast was not included. The system says I didn't pay for it, but the girl double check and like a miracle it appears. Then after waiting for a long time to get a room, I go up and the room is all boys. I had booked a girls dorm room. The linen is not there and I have to go to reception for a 3rd time. The receptionists are young and don't know how to address the problems in a timely manner which makes for a busy reception 24/7

We enjoyed our first experience staying at this hotel hostel for 2 nights. We were part of a big group but we got ourselves a double room with a private bathroom. Comfy beds, clean bed and bathrooms. Walking distance to U-bahn.

Good place. Stayed in dormitory. Better to have your own sleeping bag. Otherwise you will have to pay for the bedroll in the dormitory. Restaurant is good. Staff are very helpful.

Nice and quiet location. Staff is friendly and speaks excellent English. Rooms are relatively small but nice and clean.

Very nice hostel! The guest kitchen is lacking supplies and the rooms are very warm.

Location is as good as you'll get since it's close to the train station. Alittle sketchy area but nothing to bad. The whole hostel smelt really bad, different bad smells for different rooms. The people at the desk didn't know much and weren't helpful. Also I had to change my own linen, it looked like someone just got out of bed and I had to change it. Awesome all you can eat breakfast! Vienna was hard to book so if you need a hostel go for this one.

All in all I can't complain.

-What we had disturbed that, when the Hall was full. It had then already very bursts. And you had to speak up to get at the breakfast to understand
what I would find personally well. Would be when's breakfast buffet giving so little bowls would. For cottage cheese or the meat salad. With the cereal bowls saw the BLOB then but already weird out. And as table waste bucket would certainly not bad either.
but otherwise it was a great stay.

I was for the third time in an A & O hostel (Hamburg, Berlin, Vienna-Stadthalle). The first two times very satisfied, what cannot be said by A & O City Hall.

So I had booked for 3 nights, I am however relocated after a night in another hotel because I've kept it there no longer. Which case departure announced, and wondered if perhaps some of the price should be allowed to me. Naturally only the Chief can decide. Time look if I hear anything or see money.
In the first room, the House wall in front of the window was right, it was very heavy. I could easily change but the room. The second room I got to see at least out of the window. But the room not clean was hair in the bathroom, dirty crap bucket, stains on the shelf in the bathroom, chewing gum on the wall. At all, it was generally in the corridor and pretty down came in the room. I felt in the room as in a cell. The mattress had any plastic cover which has bedclothes with every movement.
The television had also only 12 programs, and a strange selection of programs. From the bed I could not exactly see the image because he was on the wall, you could see much in the angle. And very small he was what however was to be expected in this price category also. So the TV is more just for decoration in the room.
Because I traveled alone, I felt very safe in the hotel. The aisles are very narrow and long and far away from the front desk. There is also a second entrance further back, which is apparently also always open, that means it can walk everyone in the hotel in.

Clean, top Opening, An in/out times, super Breakfast, super staff… Only a frozen pizza and a drink for 6, 50€, I found to be exaggerated, therefore, a point deduction. Nevertheless, absolutely recommended!

Reception was very friendly, staff is generally friendly, Breakfast room + buffet were top, the staircase seemed a bit run down and not very inviting, also the corridors in front of the rooms. The room walls would use some fresh color, unfortunately, our floor in the room was dirty and it was very dusty (night table, room table, on the box), in the bathroom hair and the lamp was broken, so no light in a windowless bathroom and for two nights, although after arrival was told but unfortunately not replaced on the second day. Bathroom very small, nothing for large people. Otherwise, the rooms are ok, enough space, light and friendly. For us the proximity to the stadthalle was important, for 1 max 2 nights.

Nightmare hotel, avoid at all costs! my experience at this "hotel" was nothing short of traumatic. It will take me some time yet to recover. The staff are horrible, treat you with contempt if you complain about anything, such as the demolition site that was outside my window operating between 7am and 6pm or the fact that your room is not cleaned for the duration of your stay, except that the bin is changed, that's all! Noise is horrendous, nerves are shattered from several days of broken sleep. Their prices are absolutely disgraceful, I was charged around €57 per night for a dirty pokey room that could not have been worth €20, and in the end moved out early to a 4 star hotel (thank the Lord! ), which was only €10 more per night! Unbelievable, you couldn't make it up! The beds are horrible either plastic or a thin layer of foam on a wooden bed (I know because they kept offering me different rooms to keep me quiet). Rooms are pokey small with furniture that looks like it was retrieved from a skip. Walls are filthy, disgusting. The noise from the corridors and stairwells is bad enough never mind the building site outside where builders are throwing large pieces of masonry from the second floor into a skip in the courtyard. It felt like an earthquake every morning at 7am when the skips were being replaced.

The price /performance offer is really top! The room was very clean, bed comfortable and the Breakfast was for the price really flavorful and tender, moderate lace. Due to the good connection to the U-Bahn you can get to all the Central points in Vienna and therefore I can recommend the Hotel only. Oh, Yes: Wi-Fi is free and fast enough. This is always in the capital.

Simple, simple, almost spartanisches Hotel, but clean and in order. Price/performance ratio fits, Breakfast buffet was even more surprising broadly aligned. Situation is a bit loud at the Wiener Gürtel, beds are pretty hard. For a night or two in order, of course, especially for those with a smaller Budget.

Slept in the hostel section and the rooms were like the rest of the A and O hostel, fine. The price was incredibly cheap for a room with six beds. It was also easy to find from the train station which is important for a backpackers. There is a nice bar at the bottom with affordable prices and free Wi-Fi. The staff was pleasant and I would recommend this hostel for backpackers.

This Hostel is a true Horror. The mattresses and the beds are with anything dirty and the bathroom and the shower are 2 m2 in size, so you can even move around a circle, but no more. Never Again.

The rooms, though small, but cozy, everything is clean, neat, nice.

But you shoud leave the roomsup to 10 hours a. M. However you can leave your bags in the luggage room for free.

Easier or not, there has absolute Gefängniszellencharme, Türkarten go half of the time not, the bathroom is so small that it's hard to turn even can turn better one lets the door. Despite the lowest beds we have slept well, even if the opening of the window because of the volume of outside is not mgl was. Breakfast is sufficient, however, is the Büffetraum so small, that in the "rush hour" sometimes claustrophobia can get. It was clean and the bathroom is newly renovated. Staff are always friendly.
