A comfortable and spacious room inside a beautiful historic building. The property is practically in the center of the city, but still in a quiet lane. Good breakfast.

Hotel that is not really one. The reception is not in the same building as the rooms.
Excessive rates for the service.
Rooms not soundproofed at all. You can hear the sound of the busy street as if we were outside.
And no insulation from the hallway.
Breakfast not great.
We're not going to go back!

Spacious room, but excessively warm, it is necessary to give them a fan. Very uncomfortable washbasin as its shallow depth makes it splash all over the floor. Excellent hotel location.

Located in a renovated historic palace where classic and modern match well. Large, clean room with a nice parquet floor. Friendly staff. Great location, just outside the old town and a short walk from the subway. Breakfast in the norm, not particularly rich. Recommended.

If it's hot, you're dead. There is a/C and it is a pension, not a hotel to use. Strange, find another alternative. The only good thing, the location.

Good location, okay rooms, okay breakfast. Charged my friend for our room too, then when we got that corrected he launched into very vigorous conversation a second time. Didn't think to check my receipt until we were airborne. When I tried to get it corrected by email it became increasingly convoluted untill I gave up. Maybe two honest errors, maybe not.

Excellent location. Wifi works only at few spots inside the room and that is the only lowlight. The hotel is conveniently located — just a 20 minutes walk to the old town. Most of the attractions can be reached by walk. U-bahn station is around the corner. Car parking is at the museum Quartier which is 200m from the hotel. At 14 Euro max it is reasonably priced. There are many resturants nearby. An Indian resturant is just a 3 minutes walk from the hotel. The lady who recieved us checked us in within few minutes. The gentleman the next day morning guided us and suggested places suitable for kids. High ceiling rooms with big windows, crispy breads in the breakfast and family friendly. Very friendly and helpful staff. Had a wonderful stay at this hotel.

Very nice and good location in the centre of Vienna including good breakfast.

Too noisy room, theres no isolation from the street and under the room entrance was 3cm gap. Breakfast was good but not so rich as I expected. Bathroom was really small, but there was unexpected swimmingpool on the balcony. Staff were friendly and room was clean. Its nonsense visit this hotel again.

94 in Vienna with no air conditioning; not even an electric fan; not even a bucket of ice. Totally unacceptable.

Rooms are very nice, but it is a bit annoying to walk out to the main building for breakfast since they put me up in a separate building.

I stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend in mid August 2010. The hotel had a nice character and lovely rooftop views from our balcony! Our room was way too spacious which we loved because all other hotel rooms we have visited were very congested and small. We had a small balcony which was so romantic and it helped get fresh air in the room. August was hot during the day but pretty chilly at night. Buffet Breakfast that was included in price was very nice! The staff was very friendly and helpful — they also told us for a few interesting spots and the best schnitzel restaurant in town which was indeed a must visit — The Figmuller! Around the hotel there were few nice restaurants and we even spotted an Indian one ;). Very close to the metro station which we used to get to the train station since we were travelling in Europe by train! Few sightseeing very close by was the maria theresa sq. Hofburg Imperial Palace (where we also saw a fantastic opera show with reasonable tickets), Austrian parliament, Rethaus, Stephen's cathedral, volkstheater, michaelerplatz (where figmuller restaurant is — this whole area is filled with restaurants and bars, amazing place to hang out and watch street artists performing) etc. Would highly recommend and definitely go back to this hotel if visiting Vienna again.

Pros: Absolutely great location. Well connected to underground, tram and buses. Lots of attractions nearby including the MuseumsQuartier. Large rooms Clean and elegant bathroom Good breakfast Good Wi-Fi connection Helpful staff including the owner/manager Cons: None Consider this place as a vintage bed&breakfast option. Probably not at the scale ofa full service hotel. 3star rating on the property is a bit overrated.

Nice clean guest house in super location. Nice staff. Super Breakfast. Always happy.
