I DONT RECOMMEND ANYTHING IN THIS HOTEL Staying at this hotel one of the most horrible experiences we ever had being on vacation anywhere. When we got to this hotel at 9am they told us don’t worry please go walk around the city we will set up your rooms so we went on our way. When we got back to the hotel we were in for a surprise. We paid for 3 identical rooms with our friends but only 2 rooms were fine. The 3rd room was a disaster. The hotel has no bell service to help you with your luggage. Two rooms were on the 5th floor which were fine and the 3rd room was on the 6th floor that DID NOT have an elevator going to the 6th floor so I had to carry 9 huge suitcases up 20 steps my self because this hotel does not have any bell service to help with luggage. Once we got the room we were in for another surprise with our room as it was horrible because the ceiling in the room was slanted about 45-50 degrees over us so unless you are 4 feet tall it was impossible to walk normally only on your knees. Also being that the ceiling was so low we saw all the stains on the ceiling and it was nasty. We then went to see the other rooms our friends have and they were normal. When we went to ask to switch the room they told us hotel is sold out nothing we can do. We asked for a discount for the room they told us no. Then the manager behind the counter got extremely nasty with me. Stay away from these hotels they don’t want to accommodate anyone.

Just after a few hour visit this hotel is excellent. Good location (about 1, 8kms from Mitte Wien station), really nice, modern, clean and comfortable roof room. I'm waiting for their morning breakfast buffet.

From the minute we arrived the staff were always friendly and very helpful. The hotel is modern contempary and the room was just lovely. Hotel is worth its 4* rating and I can highly recommend it.

Nice and comfy, really nothing to complain about. They offer tasty meals and the staff was also friendly. The hotel is located near the center so everything was near (at least for our plans). Spent one calm night there, not noisy at all and the room was clean as well, would visit again.

A relatively central hotel with nice rooms and good prices.

If you don't want to stay overnight in Vienna in an overpriced way, you will find a pleasant option here. The hotel is located on foot about 10 minutes from the centre and offers paid underground parking spaces a 2-minute walk away.

The area may not be the most beautiful, but it certainly wasn't a ghetto.

We got a room with access to a courtyard balcony/terrace and found it really great.

Perfect location. 20min from main sightseeings. Comfortable and clean rooms. Available parking but not free.

Great hotel. Location close to two subway lines a 5-minute walk. The same goes for excellent tram and bus services.
Friendly and helpful staff, large, bright and clean room with scrupulousness.
In the bathroom there is a stool where to rest after the shower (it is not normal to have to sit on the vase or bed in the room) ; the shower plate is beautiful from an aesthetic point of view but it is not non-slip that you need to be careful about and finally I expect a 4-star hotel to provide at least the shower cap.
These shortcomings are not allocated to the five stars.
In any case, however, when I return to Vienna I will still be a guest, with pleasure, of the Imlauer hotel that I highly recommend.

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel for a pleasure trip. The room is spacious and clean, the staff friendly. The structure is well connected.

However, with a completely renovated room (painting and furniture), there was a lack of blackout curtains (serving as shutters) a little embarrassing! We stayed for a week the housekeeping was almost non-existent! We made a photo and sent it as requested at the reception by mail we never received any message from the direction really not worthy of its stars! Average breakfast. The staff was very friendly and the location was great.

Rooms are very comfy, modern and clean location is near 2 subway stations so is easy to get to the hotel, also there is a stop near for the sightseeing bus. Near top location is Risenrad. Service has been high Quality and friendly.

Lovely helpful staff & a spacious, very clean room. The location is pretty good too, an easy 10 minute stroll into the city centre, & quite close to a couple of underground stops if you want to go further. The bathroom is very nice; modern decor & extremely clean with an excellent shower. The only minor gripe so far is that we were expecting a king size bed but it's actually two mattresses pushed together on one frame. This isn't a problem, in fact it means you can't get better sleep without feeling your partner fidgeting around so much. I'm sure they'd change us to a room with a proper king size if we wanted, but we're happy as we are for this trip.

Very nice, convenient x transportation, walking distance from the center, breakfast great, clean and efficient. Basic reception service, German and English, very few accessories in the bathroom: only soaps, hairdryer and towels. Overall recommended.

— No shutters or curtain obscuring (ours did not serve much) to isolate us from the different lights of the course (from hotel bar and exit light panels) — women from households who make a hell of a racket (unless it's a big prob Lème insulation? ). They were not even able to put protections on the feet of the chair to avoid that the whole hotel benefits from the noise of the latter — a sweltering heat (I am cautious yet) that cannot even be managed with a thermosta because this one is Blocked.
— a ridiculous shower head in a beautiful bathroom (you rinse one shoulder then the other eh) — a bed of 140 while in other hotels it's 160 and I certainly forget because tired despite my vacation. I slept very badly… : (a 4 star hotel? There is a basic service that should be mandatory: the well-being and the usual calm we reserve in a 3 star hotel chain of which we are always satisfied (5 days). We wanted to change. We're not going to take it back!

I've stayed at the Imlauer for 3 days during a business trip. I really liked the friendly staff and the atmosphere. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable. I really liked the option not to have my room cleaned every day, because I find that unnecessary. Highly recommended.

Is centrally located, anyway. Quiet, sauna Fittnes area. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Top Hotel.

A very clean hotel with well trained staff and nice bright rooms. The breakfast in the room as well as the cocktails at the bar would still have air to the top. Otherwise everything very perfect.

The room that touched us is not much less like those that come out on the Internet. Small and faced an inner duck. The bathroom was not bad although there was not a product that was not soap. No knives, no shampoo, no cream…
The people were very friendly. We had an accident with coffee in the bed and when we came back and had made the room, Hsbisn made the csms with the midmas sheets and the coffee stain. They didn't pick up our towels or even put them in the bathroom.

Modern clean Pleasant hotel with friendly service. Quiet room on a street with little traffic.

We stayed for 3 nights. The staff is really nice and helpful! It's located near to the city centre with two subway station within walking distance. The rooms are quite OK, but a bit worn out (soap dispenser wasn't attached to the wall anymore and the mattress has seen better days) I've expected more from a 4 star hotel. It's totally OK for the price, but definitely no bargain. The breakfast was fine, but it wasn't worth 18 euros.

Loved it, def. Wasn't expecting it but great quality for the price (cheaper and better then novotel). Lovely room, great atmosphere, tasty breakfast and brilliant customer service!

Staff were very helpful. Close to two u-bahn stations. In a quieter area of town but not hard to get to a place where there's more hustle and bustle. Rooms were good too.

We spent a long weekend in Wien and, booking sort of last minute for the 8th of December week, this was the only accommodation near the city centre that wouldn't cost us a fortune. The hotel location is quite good, it's a 15 minutes walk to the proper city centre, and the surrounding area isn't half bad either (if a bit devoid of places to go eat/have breakfast in, for being so central). The area is also reasonably well served by public transport. The room we got was nice and big, but the furniture and facilities of the room itself were not much better than the level I would expect in a 3* Ibis hotel. The soap/shampoo/shower gel attached to the bathroom wall was just reinforcing the feeling, that's definitely NOT something I would think a 4* hotel would have. The minibar was tiny and very sparsely stocked, especially when it comes to food. We didn't get the breakfast at the hotel, because we didn't book it and it takes quite an effort to spend 18 euros per person for a breakfast elsewhere. The parking garage is quite nice, as it sits just opposite the hotel, but it's not very big and you cannot book it in advance. It will set you back 22 euros per night, and must be paid when checking in.

Small and cosy hotel. Service and cleanliness is good. Restaurant food is limited — no fancy stuff. The breakfast is standard. Location is excellent.

Does what it says on the tin. Comfortable rooms with the expected facilities and generally polite staff. Easy access for disabled guests & good choice of breakfast options. We didn't dine in the hotel other than breakfast but the dining room & bar area looked clean & inviting. Close enough to the city centre to walk to main attractions or both bus & tram stops nearby. Good value for money without being outstanding.

Good amenities but the shower ends up creeping under the shower door and soaking the whole bathroom. The rest of the room is perfect. Plus you get air con!

Hotel is on the older side. Close to old Vienna and located in a nice quiet area. Say access to red hop on hop off bus and metro stops if you're into that. If you take city express train a from the airport it will cost only 9 euros to take a cab to the hotel from the train station stop. Front desk service is friendly.

Absolutely could not be happier with our stay. The room was perfect and the staff were really helpful and polite. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

It was cool N comfortable for our family provided 4 beds and tidy equipped toilet. Easy access from all tourist points and places. Cooperative staff is also a blessing.

Price/quality is not good in this hotel. My room is extremely small and the Wi-Fi has been down several times already. Breakfast is very expensive while not special at all. No restaurant is available in the hotel. The only thing I like in the hotel is that it is near the centre. I will not return here.

What is the main purpose of an hotel? To sleep well! The bed is very uncomfortable and the duvet is far too small that it wakes you up many times during the night. For such a high price, it is a rip off. The hotel doesn't deserve 4 stars, at best it deserves 3 stars. From a customer who slept in the "junior suite"…

Great rooms for a decent price. Kind of strange that in this kind of hotel breakfast isn't included. Super useful parking garage right across the street which isn't prominently displayed in their marketing.

It was about as expected, room was clean, bathroom newly and modern furnishings.

I really dnjoy this hotel, and stay here every time I am in Vienna. It is clean, the staff are friendly and professional, and it is fairly central but situated in a quiet part of the city. Walking to Stefansplass only takes 5-10 min.

Simple Hotel in a good location. Price/performance is right!

The Hotel may be really good wen you are in it allowed to stay overnight. We have Expedia, 8 weeks before Easter booked, paid immediately and still no room. It was supposed to be a system crash. Strange that only we were affected. It was us a replacement Hotel on the other side of the city, which is said to have been as a substitute was booked. The taxi fare was paid, at least something. In the New Hotel arrived we had to discover that there was no reservation for us there. After the hotel another had, it became clear that only in the beginning of our taxi ride, that rooms are booked quickly. Dear Hotel-Team of IMLAUER Vienna we do not like to lie. Thank you for giving me my birthday present a little messed up.
