An unusual hotel, located away from the big city and bustle, with thermal pools.

Very beautiful, original hotel. Lovely thermals, the kitchen is great. There are a lot of cozy bars, cafes, a wonderful sauna area. Great baby room with a nanny. Pools are open until 11 p. M. Show with volcano on Wednesday and Saturday at 21.30.

The place is very interesting, beautiful, around the hotel everything is well-groomed, made of hiking and cycling paths. Inside there is a swimming pool with thermal water. The architecture of the resort complex is "illogical". There are no direct corridors or straight corners. Everywhere grows greens, even on a roof grass and trees. Due to non-standard windows and unusual curved walls, the interior of the rooms looks very original.  In general, a fabulous country is a fabulous country. The mineral springs of Blumau belong to the group of Hydrocarbonates and are used for the treatment of intestines and liver.

Great place to relax. Thermal spa pools are pleasant to stay even if it's raining or when it is nog sunny. Food is exelent and the services are great. Would recommend to anyone older than 20 not looking for adrenaline vacation.

I was very excited. An unforgettable day and an Unforgettable night. Very good Service and the Breakfast and evening buffets were varied and Tasted very good. The water is a dream, very warm and pleasant for the skin. I can, of the time out to 1 to 2 days recommend this Spa hotel.

It was a gift for my birthday, more … magical. That day they decorated the table for breakfast and dinner. The chair was covered with a cover-chair gold. Even the bathrooms are magical! Not to be missed:

Dive into a different world, to whom the usual hype, which takes place in many spas don't like so, one will find pure relaxation on a high level. Let your daily life back together with your Bathrobe. Bathrobe and towels are included, and wait in the locker. Personally, I find this very convenient as you don't drag so much. Two times per week, there is a volcanic eruption which you should definitely have time experienced. The entire Area is to be regarded as an accessible total work of art.

We felt very comfortable. The architecture is very impressive. To highlight is the staff that is extremely friendly and accommodating. The food is great. We are looking forward to our next visit!

The Must see of the year, the unique design, spacious, ideal for all age groups. The thermal water of the outdoor pool and the saunas are the proposals that I have enjoyed more. Prices are average to high but trust me… it's totally worth it.

Large spa with very pleasant water temperature. Unfortunately extremely expensive, for everything must be paid extra, also as hotel guest is less than in other spas included. The restaurant in the spa is mediocre, the waiter is the worst we have experienced for a long time. One night for two comes to approx. 400 euro (though included surcharge on the steak restaurant) of which a voucher for the daily Admission for 2 persons has already been deducted. For that you get two nights in other spas. Like to stay again, but the hotel is not recommended.

Beautiful! Spas for all tastes in the beautiful setting of the buildings of the famous (and Stravagente) architect Hundertwasser. The cost of the entrance is rather high, but it allows you to enjoy a full day of relaxation. At least for me the architectural aspect is the most important aspect and it is absolutely worthwhile.

Rather good spa, pools and sauna area. Very good location. Available parking. We like this place and come regularly. A really weak point is the quality of sleep — we stayed in a lot of rooms and always beds were very uncomfortable. Mattresses are too soft and deformed (seem to be rather old and not regularly turned over), also bed elements supporting mattresses are often weakened or broken. Blankets are short and feel like sack stuffed with rags. Subjectively, quality of the food is lower than in the past.

My boyfriend invited me to Bad Blumau for my birthday to get an "Austrian experience". And what an experience it was! Getting to swim in warm water outdoors while the weather is so cold I something I would recommend to anyone. I particularly loved the waves pool, because one of the things I miss the most from living near the ocean is swimming in the waves. We had a great goulash and a chocolate lasagna with cherry sorbet at the restaurant, both were delicious. The sauna was an amazing way to finish the day.

An amazing and unique hotel! This was the third time I went there for New year and every time this hotel surprised me. The architectural quality, the level of quality and comfort, the calm and the baths, everything is perfect. Absolutely nothing to complain about if not to continue. I can only recommend this hotel as one of a kind.

Such a fantastic place. The rooms are good, but not excellent, but that's not why you're there. The food, also, is good, but not as exceptional as they would like you to think. The thermostat, however, is perfect, magical, really like a whole, self-contained world. Wonderful saunas, pools, theraputic pools, in fantastic surroundings. Busy but not crowded. I also had an excellent massage (which was extra money, but not so expensive, €45 for 30 minutes).

The spa is very nice. Especially the thermal lake is wonderful. However, the food at the Spa restaurant is far from satisfactory. There is almost no choice for vegetarian food without gluten. All right, then hold the potato corners with lettuce. But also those were just fat, not crispy and the salad also not exactly a treat. The coffee at the end was also still quite thin. When I spend a whole day at the spa, a good meal is also part of the well-being. This is, however, apparently not important in this spa.

Aesthetically beautiful spa, with marvellous indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a pleasant and warm lake curative. Not suitable for children, for whom there are not many attractions, unfortunately. Even the saunas are less developed than in other centers.

The hotel and the thermal baths look quite nice, thanks to a hundred water, however, you notice the construction of the age already something. The room was very warm, the night really uncomfortable and the rooms are very noisy, not worthy of a hotel of this category. The staff was mostly nice, worked partially. The food was a lot and tastefully good average. There are enough child seats and we had no problems with our barely one year old. Unfortunately, the use of the spa with a small child is not allowed in the pool, except in the children's pool. But there is a private lounge area for families, even if it is a little small, very positive. As a conclusion: bad Blumau is quite ok, but for the performance too expensive.

The best spa I have been given to attend!

I found the spa really nice. It was true that some people were there, but they spread very well on the pools. I felt very comfortable there and was able to relax very well. Breakfast as well as dinner are really very high quality and varied.
Trifles might be in need of renovation — but that would be a high-level critique!
In summary, the SPA is really recommended! :)

We spent a beautiful weekend in Blumau.
Rooms, food and thermal landscape are almost perfect.
Only the sauna area would do better: the sauna area, and here in particular the relaxation room is too small for a busy day. In order to fight lies the otherwise excellent ambience disturbs.
Perhaps you could give the hotel guest the opportunity to rent chairs? We would have paid an extra fee.
There is also a water dispenser outside the sauna area.
Please understand these points as a suggestion and not as a critique.
Otherwise, the visit, also because of a perfect working sauna master, was more than successful, and will certainly be repeated.

All super. Extraordinary setting. Architect a bit crazy type Gaudí but magnificent. Excellent spas, spas and pools to please all the finer palates.

This is probably the most beautiful thermal bath and hotel in all Austria. Designed by the all famous Frederick Hundertwasser and built by Herr Rogner, this is like living and bathing in a Hundertwasser painting. If you like joyful colours and natural shapes, with lots of vegetation, this is the place for your dream vacation. The steak restaurant is also a must go, ask for the steak of the house (400g). The rooms and restaurants are all tidy and neat. The prices are not cheap, but not the most expensive either. The service is quick and friendly, they mostly speak 4 languages at least.

Best spa in the world! Organic food served and delicious buffet dinner included. Most stunning & magnificent architecture you could ever experience! In the winter it is like a magical place outside in the hot volcania pool.

A very nice spa. What we did not know was that you have to make a reservation if you are only a guest. We were lucky because we arrived early in the morning so we could still get in, who comes in the afternoon may be unlucky. Despite everything, it was a very relaxing day.

Beautiful thermal baths and lovely hotel! I would recommend this place for a wellness weekend or even as conference location for companies or team building events.

This spa is a bit pricy, but you get a discount card when you stay a local bnb. Also the evening ticket from 5pm to 11pm is a good value. They provide you with 2 towels and a bathrobe, and then you can explore all the pools and the different saunas and steam baths. The vulcano pool with 37°C was our favorite — just relax, float on your back, and listen to the underwater music.

Beautiful spa with very unique organic architecture. Multiple saunas with various temperatures, grades of humidity and scents. The nude area alsi contains an outdoor area that has basins and saunas.

To be honest I had very high expectations based on the other reviews and the pictures. So this didn't help as it didn't meet my high expectations. Perhaps it's because I don't speak German. So much staring. The cost is so high, if you really value vegan brownies that taste like olive oil than this is your place. If you go when it's hot and find there's no a/c in your room you might be upset. The architecture is lovely and well maintained. But compared to a Peter Zumpthor spa in Switzerland, I will go back there, yet again and keep this as something we tried.

Absolutely must have visit. Atmosphere is nice, just reserve upfront. They have towels and bath robes. Love it.

Lovely outside mineral pool. You do need to ignore the naffness of the structure to really enjoy it. They don't hire flipflops if you forget to bring them. They will sell you an extremely expensive pair mind. Moral of the story, don't forget your flipflops.

Grundsätzlich recht ansprechend aber ziemlich überlaufen, wie wohl die meisten Thermen.

Unfortunately I'm rather disappointed… My sister and I gave my mother for Christmas a voucher in the Rogner Hotel for 2 nights and extra Blumau chosen — it should be something Special or! Yes — the Spa is gorgeous! The Hotel itself is, of course, optically and architecturally unique! More disappointed I was from the room: nothing (except the bathroom) would suggest that it is located in a hundred-water house! A wooden bed, and 2 plastic night in the box? Not a picture on the wall! On the balcony, ash was a Cup, because the cigarette butts were from the last tenants inside! The curtains are dirty! Not a 4 star hotel worthy! But all of that would have been o. K. The Worst is the food: Breakfast is an omelet? Wrong! For this, there is cholesterol-free eggs… whether you now have cholesterol or not — there is no Other! Fruit for Breakfast? On a day-water melon, the next day, honey melon, grapes on both days! But an Apple (the only when you go to the Spa, since the Apple baskets… a banana? No! Dinner in the Buffet: that I have to get everything yourself, the selection is too small — none 4-star hotel worthy! The salad buffet is extremely "poor", the cocktail sauce has a consistency like water! And the next day it was even "better": the food in the Restaurant, rainy day! Lunch recommendation: self-Spirallnudeln-made Arrabiata with Chilli and olives… zero taste, zero sharpness! Spaghetti Bolognese with a watery Sauce — Yes, you should let the pasta stop drain!

A Disappointment! Why? Short hand is my girlfriend and I decided to go on Valentine's day in the Spa. We decided to go for the Roger Bad, because we had both never been there. Short on the home page, mind on the mobile Homepage, researched, whether or not a normal operation on Valentine's day. We couldn't find anything to the contrary, but wanted to be on the safe side and have to call about that. After several minutes of music waiting I ended the call and decided to drive, wanted to waste no time. We are so full of euphoria in Vienna, los. There is the disillusionment arrived. At the entrance, stand directly to the welcome sign that was opened on this day (14.02) only for reserved guests. Full of disappointment, we examined the Homepage, maybe we had overlooked something. But still no note on the mobile website. Sitting in the car I tried to call also, Once again, this time with success. I inquired how it was now, and whether a reservation is possible, but the lady pointed us in a rarely rude and annoyed tone. Thank you for this beautiful day Rogner Bad and telephonist! Next time please on the Homepage to announce the operation will not be normal, or at least the phone with a friendly Person to occupy, because so is, and the first visit to the only negative in the head remained, and will probably begin again the long journey from Vienna. Too bad.

We were the first time in the Spa (fantastic short break) the relaxation effect was soon felt. It is a top Hotel! Friendliness, cleanliness and great Breakfast and dinner. The Spa is huge, therefore we have to fall right back in your Hotel booked. It can only recommend! very best regards from two very satisfied customers.

Wellness area super, playful ambience missing in the room, salatangebot poor, staff very friendly, meal times are optimal, the price for dargebotenes something increases, food partly cold, opening of the Spa, to 23.00 is top. ID like to come again, just a small shock.

My favorite spa in Austria! Very high-priced, but truly a work of art full of colours, vitality and energy. The best place to dive, and completely forgetting the time. The whole concept is really authentic. I was already very often there and was disappointed not even once. On the contrary, I am impressed with the creativity of the staff / management time and again on the new. From the thermal baths and sauna landscape, the rooms and fine dining, the wide range of massages and other treatments, to the service of the staff — everything is good. The beauty is that the philosophy of Hundertwasser is maintained.

BLUMAU is one of the best places I've ever visited and have to return there again. Visualy amazing, quiet, rich and hot. Peacefull and relaxing place, underwater music outside. Unforgetable experience. To my wonder, it is perfect in details as well.

One must distinguish clearly between the gastronomy and the rest of the Thermenhotel.
The thermal spa and the hotel is beyond any doubt. Top architecture, very clean, very quiet and worth every dollar. Also full weekends a high recreational value. A cosy lounge in a quiet corner and one feels like a new person.
Unfortunately, the cuisine is more than average. We were now already three but every sorely disappointed there guest, the food supply and their quality. It's grad time upscale cafeteria level.
Clearly is here cheapest bought and sold expensive then with flowery words. Am willing to pay good money for good stuff, unfortunately nothing adequate gets but, even if on is willing to pay for it.
