Apartments Wolf Dietrich Apartment

We had a very pleasant stay at the Wolf-Dietrich. The room was clean and comfortable, and having a kettle and fridge was good. (We have found that not all Austrian hotels provide this facility. ) The breakfast was excellent, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. As well, the location in the Old Town was very convenient for sightseeing and the train station.

Enjoyed our stay in this nice, clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The location is great and within walking distance to a lot of shopping, food or drink and local attractions. Parking is off site but at a discount rate and easy to load/unload at hotel and short walk to off site garage. Breakfast was good, did not have any drinks at the lobby bar. Would recommend for a decent, affordable, good location hotel within Salzburg.

Delicious breakfast, great location in the city, staff were wonderful and helpful. My kids loved the hotel so much, they wanted to stay! It was modern with charm. They had a pool and spa that was very nice. I brought my 4 children from the US and my parents with my husband and I. My parents wanted a cab since they were older and couldn’t walk as much as us so the hotel got them a limo to go to dinner and the casino. That was the highlight of my parents trip. The location was great for my family. We just walked out the door and went to all the great tourist attractions and water play areas for our kids. Loved the breakfast and apples throughout the day. My favorite was waking up to the town church bells every morning and then opening my window to the beautiful building and flowers.

Enjoyed our stay. Comfortable room good breakfast. Enjoyed having a tub to soak our tired feet.

Staffs are lovely. A gentleman called Helmurt was the best staff! I’d come back here again. Great location. The only improvement point would be the shower because the water does not drain quickly.

This hotel is very charming and in a perfect location. The room was a great size and very clean. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful and very worth it!

Great, right on the dining/promenade with attention to detail furnished and managed hotel! If you are looking for a nice hotel with a great spa area away from the always the same hotel chains, you will find it! Price-performance is very good!

We found the rooms to be spacious, clean and well equipped. We especially liked that we could open the windows. Everything functioned well. Breakfast was excellent — although the coffee could vary from day to day. Location excellent — close to everything but in a quiet location. Would highly recommend.

The hotel has a perfect location, the car park is 50 metres away.
Breakfast is very adequate.
We did not use the wellness area.

Our stay was delightful. Our room was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful, gave us great recommendations for dinner. How highly recommend staying here.

The only thing "missing" is a gym with a few gadgets, but that doesn't even want everyone.

Location is good, good walking, bus and taxi access. Rooms are small but clean. Toilet smelled a bit strange. The hotel is cosy, perhaps a little dated, furnished. Staff is friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet is plentiful. There was also a possibility to leave the luggage at the hotel after check-out and to pick up later.

I like the hotel's central location and the fact that it has a swimming pool. I was disappointed that the hotel discontinued its afternoon tea and cakes, as that made the place much more cozy. Also it would be nice if there were a bigger table, so it would be easier to work on my laptop. Now the price was rather cheap, but I see that next month it will be around double.

Room reserved in the Hotel 4 * * * * According to the beautiful pictures. Unfortunately the room assigned was in the residence outside the hotel without SPA and a quality of comfort below 3 * * *, but with the same price!.
Not very cooperative staff.
So watch out! If you book in this hotel, the room in the residence is to avoid under penalty of bad surprise!

Location very good Hotel Room (suite) excellent only flaw the TV did not work (no matter) I listened to music a great sound system. Very friendly Staff always ready for any problem. Thank you Advice this HOTEL.

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay at this hotel. The location was excellent — easy walking distance to all attractions and excellent restaurants in adjoining street. Our room in the annexe was a good size, clean and modern and well equipped. Good choice of food at breakfast and staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Salzburg.

Family-friendly and quiet house in a central location in the pedestrian area with always very friendly staff. Just a 10-minute walk opposite the overrun Old Town. Beautiful rooms backwards with small balcony (for smokers) and views of an old monastery courtyard and the old town, adequate and extensive breakfast buffet (albeit scrambled eggs cold, but very good coffee), sanitary area still with tub instead of shower. Pleasant and extensive modern spa area with two saunas, infrared corner and swimming pool. Overall highly recommended.
Parking five minutes away, either in hotel's own underground car park or public TG. You can drive to the entrance.
Very good restaurant, the hotel has no own) and bars (e. G. Ital. Reserve Sabroson or good bourgeois old fox — better! ) around the corner in Linz's alleyway in a few minutes. There are also many small interesting shops.

I was traveling alone so I chose the single room. The size of room was perfect for me, not too small like many other hotels. I enjoyed the breakfast a lot, many choices. Excellent location of the hotel, walking distance to everywhere. Many restaurants and shops were around. The front dest helped me booked one day tour to Hallstatt and bought a ticket for the puppet show. No surcharges, very convenient.

Great location and accommodating staff in this charming boutique hotel. The linens/ towels need upgrading as the towels are very thin and seem worn out. The pillows are thin and lumpy plus the mattresses are very hard. Would have enjoyed our stay much more with a comfortable bed!

This was a fantastic place to stay. The children loved having some down time from traveling and relaxing in the pool area. The breakfast was great and catered for all four of our needs. This is in a perfect spot to explore Salzburg!

Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was great. Lobby nice. Location fantastic. Only downside… our room was not as nice as what was pictured on the website. I'm not sure I actually got the "Superior Double Room" I had booked. But it was clean and we had a place to stay. I'd stay here again, but I'd book the simpler room, because that is what they will give me.

Great hotel, settled ahead of time without question, the city centre next to the hotel provides parking, great breakfast, in the hall are apples for guests.

I stayed for 4 nights in late June. Very good location for seeing Salzburg. I had a car — parking is a few blocks away, but easy to get in and out of town. The room was clean and functional. No air conditioning, but the fan worked and was remarkably quiet. Very nice breakfast buffet. A good reasonably priced stay.

"I expected more… "The hotel Wolf-Dietrich is a good hotel located in the northern part of Salzburg, close to the Kapuzinerberg and the beginning of the pedestrian zone. The location is so great to visit the city and this, together with the spacious room and the cleanliness, is certainly the greatest value of the hotel.
The breakfast is quite ordinary and a four star expects something more. What annoyed us the most was the nagging diligence with whom, during breakfast, the clerk was concerned to take away the dishes or the cups as soon as these were empty; In some cases we still had the bite in the mouth! Definitely embarrassing!

Clean, well appointed, spacious accommodation. Air conditioned which was important the couple of hot days on top floor. Staff very friendly and in particular sourced some great advice on lake bike ride which we never would have found ourselves and turned out to be just perfect. Breakfast excellent.

Stayed July 2016. The hotel is well located on a peaceful street and an easy walk to the old town. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was an added bonus having a swimming pool in a city centre hotel.

Stayed in two different apartments. The Penrose was very big, but the layout was strange, and there was no privacy. The one bedroom was very nice. Staff were attentive and friendly and helpful. A very nice stay.

The apartment is, unfortunately, quite cheap to set up everything, otherwise OK.

A beautiful hotel with all value fair properties: clean (the most important in a hotel) and beautifully appointed rooms, friendly and helpful service, great breakfast and a small but very nice SPA area. Can you recommend only wholeheartedly. Top!

The hotel is set next to a street. Commercial, about 10min walk from the center of Saltzburg. We got a room in the new part and made an upgrade so our room was fantastic, spacious with several balconies to the street and a lovely bathroom. We were delighted with the hotel and the breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

A beautiful city where you can forget all stress. Even if it is very crowded in the Getreidegasse, one comes through yet comfortable and also the Cathedral square is well worth a visit!
The views of the fortress just completes the whole thing.
So in short a city that you must see!
