Haus Filzmoos Hotel

Our stay in Haus Filzmoos exceeded our expectations. Owners Frank and Luisa are fabulous and welcoming.   Our apartment  was cosy, everything looks new and rooms are extremely soundproof —   you never hear other guests. Breakfast was really delicious and also the location is very convenient — if you go skiing there are number of ski resorts around Filzmoos to choose from. We’re definitely coming back next time! :)

After a 20 year search for a place in Filzmoos where the whole family (three children with different tastes/needs/opinions) would feel totally at home, we finally found that place. Frank and Luisa at Haus Filzmoos could not have been more accommodating. From the excellent location (close to slopes, walking trails, ski bus), and right next to a small mountain stream, with clean and well-equipped rooms, ample parking, huge breakfasts and stunning views, there is simply nothing negative to comment on. It only remains to be said that we cannot wait to return.

Top recommendation! Already at the reception we were warmly greeted and felt at ease in the lovingly designed rooms immediately. Our room was very nicely decorated and clean all around.
In general, we liked the interior design and the successful blend of traditional and modern designs.
The location is also top — with a view of the impressive Bishop's cap (mountain range in the distance) and located in the quiet part of the town of Filzmoos we found rest and relaxation and were at the same time hardly 2min (by car) from the town centre.
Also the daily breakfast had more to offer than we would have expected for this relatively reasonable price — so overall, very good value for money.

Great stay (6nights — fakulty with 2 kids) in new, clean, spacious appartment. Really friendly owener, the service was perfect. Would like to return for sure. Suitable for families, pairs and group of friends.

The rooms (we both had an apartment) are beautifully and lovingly furnished and equipped with everything you need.
The view is simply fantastic. The town centre is about 500 metres away.

The highlight of our trip was our pleasant stay at Haus Filzmoos in this charming small town. Haus Filzmoos is a great place to stay, around 500 meters from the centre of Filzmoos. The apartments are managed by wonderful, warm and friendly hosts who took personal interest in our experience of Filzmoos. The apartment was extremely clean and well maintained and provided a spectacular view of the mountains. The kitchen has all the basic equipment one needs. The place is very child-friendly as well. Filzmoos is a great place to relax and also central to many other beautiful places in the Austrian Alps. Perhaps Filzmoos primarily known for Skiing and other wintersports. We found it a great place to relax and unwind too since we were not there for the wintersports. Filzmoos was wonderful during the days of Christmas with horse carriage rides, breathtaking views of the other peaks during the evening walks on a flat part at the top of the mountain, Gluwein, Kinderpunsch, Gingerbread etc.

The Apartment is super. Everything is even better than the photo. The View from the Windows funky. Repair, furniture, household appliances-all new. Towels and linen are of excellent quality. The Hosts are nice, responsive people. Drying for boots with heating. Location of the hotel. Got more than expected.
