Great service experience from the moment that we had arrived, even though it was late check-in, to the moment that we had left.
This was the first time that we visited Tyrol in Austria after last year we visited South Tyrol in Italy. Before we had booked Sporthotel Neustift, I had researched other hotels in the area with great facilities and I admit that Sporthotel was the 3rd best option. We ended up booking it due to the kids club and facilities apart from the SPA centre a…nd I do not regret the choice that we have done as the staff, food, facilities and the ambiance were very welcoming apart from the great suite that we had booked. It is a family run hotel with great service and location in Stubai valley. It is targeting families and mature couples.
We booked for 4 nights after we spent another 4 nights in Salzburg and Carinthia areas and they were not enough. 5 nights is the minimum to explore the area and enjoy all hotel facilities within the summer period.
What we liked: — Personalised dinner and breakfast experience with great food — Very welcoming staff — Great room and facilities even though it was on traditional style — Great SPA facilities — Very good size indoor pool — Great kids facilities including kids dinner and food — Overall great facilities — restaurant, outdoor dining area, outdoor relaxing garden, bar, SPA
A few suggestions that can improve the experience further are: — Larger outdoor heated pool area — There are 5 jacuzzi beds but no outdoor swimming area even though their is enough space within the hotel grounds — Indoor jacuzzi beds and jacuzzi within the indoor pool were not functional — Indoor pool ambience can be improved for a better relaxing experience with materials from the local area such as stone covered walls and wood. — Do not force everyone to be naked in the SPA area especially the SPA pool — Dumbbels, rowing and cycling equipment in gym area
Overall we will revisit this hotel and Stubai valley.
