Night stop after motorcycle ride… kind and helpful staff. But structure to be refurbished. Breakfast not from hotels in Austria… Very modest rooms no TV but at least clean "private" parking on the square in front of the hotel … it's true that it's a quiet place but the bike in the street at night roams me a bit… without much effort c is better without even spending more.

Good place to visit Alta Pusteria.

Old-school hotel with large parking space in the middle of the village centre. Ideal for motorcyclists who are looking for a cheap and clean accommodation ahead of the border with Italy. Nice coffee bar and good breakfast buffet.

Very helpful and friendly Staff. For when it relates to the structure, it looks very well from outside while it is disappointing inside: room with crumbling furniture, lack of accessories (only a miserable little soap for hands), only two towels available, cleaning but not continuative. The Breakfast is very simple and there is not a lot of variety or large quantities. The price of the rooms should be a little lower, cmq the place is quiet, there is parking right in front of the Hotel.

Very nice hotel with unsurpassed price/performance percentage. The privacy factor at night in the bar is not too overoffering. Food is simple but half board offers everything you need.

Super suitable for the slopes. Sillian and the Black Eagle are a good address for beginners. Would love to come back.

As accommodation during a trip with my class I visited the Hotel Schwarzer Adler in Sillian and was unfortunately disappointed…
Service: The staff is mostly friendly, but it does not seem very professional, but rather like a few people who had a desire to work in a hotel with their buddies. Really much do not do this then either. The garbage has to be brought down and the tables have to be cleared. Moreover, the rooms are not cleaned properly. This would not be a problem for a youth hostel, but this is a hotel.
1/5 Star Breakfast: The breakfast is good, but there is only a bread and a bun variety, little cold cuts and only one kind of cheese, jam is available and cereal can be prepared. Overall, the variety is too low, not even an apple can get one. Even in youth hostels, this is often better. There is also no packed lunch for the long departure. Despite the good taste, I am sceptical about the cold cuts, because there is neither cooling nor spit protection.
1/5 Star Evening-/Mittagessen: The rest of the meals are fine. So you get varied food and usually several portions. The taste is good and sometimes less good, but Vegeteraier and allergy sufferers receive special food.
2, 5/5 stars House/surroundings: The house is pretty much the most shabby in all Sillian and right at the entrance one is greeted by the cigarette smoke of the staff.

1. Es gibt ein 12er Zimmer das nur ein Bad hat und eine Toilette 2. Frühstück wird nach einer Zeit sehr eklig, weil es immer dasselbe ist. 3. Abendessen ist der größte Dreck. Ich empfehle die Pizzaria gegenüber. 4. Die Betten haben sehr dünne Kopfkissen. Man bekommt da nur Nackenschmerzen beim schlafen. 5. Das Personal ist dumm. Eine hat mich einmal ohne Grund amgemotzt und sich nicht Mal entschuldigt. 6. Das Bad im 12er Zimmer ist verstopft. Auf keinen Fall buchen. Viele Grüße PS: Das alles kann sich nach einer Zeit ändern. Vielleicht verbessert sich das 'Hotel' in der Zukunft!

Very nice staff and interior. Overall a positive experience… Only our shower was horrible — we needed to hold the shower head in our hands because there was no holder.

The food was not good, it leads to a lot of excretion problems. Moreover, due to the high physical activity during the day, I was also not satisfied with a follow-up. The rooms were largely clean, but there was a lot of dust under the beds. The bathrooms were, for example, quite cramped. The landlord was friendly, which I cannot tell from other parts of the staff.

The food is left to be desired, as are the bathrooms (which have no extractor hoods and are accordingly moldy) and the size of the rooms in general. Furthermore, there is no service provided by the staff, except for the insults in case of non-compliance with the waste separation.
It must be mentioned positively, however, that the price of the offered is acceptable, which is why the Black Eagle could ultimately be called a good youth hostel, to name this establishment a "hotel" is, however, as if one porta-potty to the spa area Declare.

There is everything, just not in this "hotel" but in the bar "P99" across the street which has saved us here the evenings.

The rooms have style, but very minimalist, the food tastes very good, staff incredibly nice.

Good point of support between Austria and Italy. 4 stars because it is responsible always the same menu as in the home.

Food was OK but very simple. The bar in the hotel was relatively well furnished, however the prices were far too high! That was more expensive than the ski hut!
Room clean, but the cleaning was so rude, I could clean up myself.
That's why only one star. In the area there are many nice small guesthouses for which you can pay a bit more, but offer much better quality and service. In addition, you pay 10 euro for 500 MB Internet.

The star food was bomb and our swimming pool really nice. The sauna was hayat and the masseuse Fatima hot. Just hammer. Just to recommend for everyone. The prospect of pussies were also really horny. Really hot hotel always likes to.

Cheap Hotel and you see. 1 There is no reception, we walked in and a guy seated at a table asked us who we were and realized it was he who accomodated the 2 people we booked a double and a triple. In the triple we found hair on a bed. 3 Management of the bad Wi Fi! At the entrance we were given the key to the Wi fi but for a cellphone only. So if you have more than one it will not go on all. 4 sometimes missing the person at the front desk is we had to look for it. 5 Hotels with old interiors and ruined doors. Not.

Quiet and informal environment, perfectly placed in the context of the area. Good food (Tyrolean). Friendly and helpful staff. Thanks to the Manager Mr. Jan for the tips on places to visit!

Bare minimum to survive a night or two.

Rancid rooms with some light switches IN the shower, which pressed the light after a full 10 seconds to light up. Doorways without doors, but God also be thanks to the door Stoppers, which, however, use nothing, because the door is first stuck on radiators or similar, and moderate mold growth at outlets and in the bathroom. These radiators are preferably immediately before but after all very large, floor to ceiling Windows, installed next to the door to the balcony. The be decoration of the room had also mismanaged, but a shabby saw, shot apparently by a quadriplegic toddler excellent image on its head but ten times better compensation. The shelves, which are the only shelves in the entire room, fresh look of the bulky waste. Also the "comfortable" "slats", which simply constituted a chipboard.
