Very homely and in a quiet area, excellent service, and reasonable price. Ideal for all seasons for both families and single.

I stayed 5 days with my partner and our little dog at L'Hotel GESSER, we were impressed by the welcome and availability of the whole family but in particular Marcus, always kind and smiling, ready to meet the needs of his guests. The hotel is very familiar and the barbecue organized in the garden for all guests has created even more a nice atmosphere. Great kitchen and super room cleanliness!

Newly renovated property, nice manicured garden, impeccable cleanliness and excellent cuisine (especially in the presentation of dishes). But what is most striking is the welcome of the family that runs the hotel: the owner is very friendly, always helpful and smiling.
I stayed with my fiancé for 5 days and would gladly return!

Very nice and welcoming property, as well as very friendly owners. Rich breakfast and dinner with exquisite local dishes, very nice idea of the Barbecue in the garden. Clean rooms and comfy beds… Highly recommended.

In May I booked the Hotel Gesser 3 days for excursions by motorcycle as a location. The rooms are spacious, modern and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet leaves (for me) nothing to be desired. Great also the 3 course menu, which you can book in the evening. The location is excellent for business. Since the hotel is located in its side street, it is also very quiet.
Conclusion: Highly recommended!

As always we had a pleasant stay at the Gesser hotel in Sillian. Large and renovated rooms, excellent cleanliness, great cuisine with quality ingredients. All accompanied by the usual kindness and professionalism of the Gesser family. Highly recommended!

Very friendly, competent and helpful employees. Good food, very nice and clean rooms. The little things matter: Not only did I get the sauna, but I was also prepared a cast pot with aroma.

We have spent the rest of our winter holidays at GESSER and can therefore recommend it without restriction.

Small but fine 3 star hotel where the family still works a lot in the kitchen and service.

We had a wonderful ski week at the Gesser family. Very centrally located on foot in about 10 min. In the city for strolling and drinking coffee and about 15min. To the gondola (also on foot). The ski bus also stops right in front of the hotel. The newly renovated rooms are very tastefully decorated. The food was very good. There was always a friendly contact person for every question. Thank you for this beautiful week and continue so family Gesser.

The best small family hotel where I stayed. Rooms are huge and very modern equimpend, cleanless in on the 10 level, staf were very helpfull and food was amazing (big portions and soo delicious).

I spent three days with my family in this great hotel, very clean and with an excellent kitchen. Close to the ski slopes. Very nice and friendly staff It's okay.

A wonderfully family run hotel, good service — nice rooms — good breakfast buffet (the scrambled eggs still come out of the pan;-) ) — 3 course dinner with choices — good cuisine — we've learned to appreciate the sauna. A wonderful starting point for motorbike riding in east and South Tyrol, Italy and Carinthia. The hotel is close to the centre and shopping facilities as well as public transport and yet fantastically quiet, also a fair Prei/performance ratio. Thanks for the beautiful holiday Stefan Schäfer.

Great family run hotel in the heart of Hochpustertal. During our recent stay 2 — 6 September we had the pleasure to stay with Family Gesser in their excellent hotel. Rooms were updated, clean, and very quiet. We also had the pleasure of dining and the food was top notch. Breakfast was more than just a simple European continental spread, but a great meal to start the day. Dinner was fantastic, very traditional spanning German, Austrian, and Italian tastes. Hotel Gesser is our new "go to" place to stay when we are in the Hochpustertal region.

The hotel, the host people, accommodation and especially the food and the attentions deserve 5 stars. Thank you very much!

An extremely friendly family-run hotel from the Best! We would — and will — always happy to come back.

We chose at random on Gesser but turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Typical structure, set in the context of the landscape with views of the surrounding mountains, very well maintained and well cared for. Great our room that looked like a mini apartment with balcony overlooking the mountains. The food is good, plentiful and delicious breakfast and there is also the possibility of half board. Last but not least is the hospitality of the Fam. Gesser and particularly to Markus who welcomed us and made us feel comfortable right away … too bad you did one night. Thanks Markus.

The service and the hospitality of the family Gesser are indescribable. We felt very well as a group of friends. We fully recommend this hotel. Also the breakfast was simply recommended – it simply lacked nothing (juices, cereals, cold meats from the local butcher, to name only a few examples). Who wants to eat in the evenings warm, the incredibly fresh and delicious three-course meal is recommended. Sophisticated creations of delicious — and for an unbeatable price. Also the drinks were always fresh and quickly at the table — for a price that was hard to believe. Who ever likes staying in sauna, finds a new sauna and a cosy relaxation area and two spacious showers in the basement. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Many of the rooms have a nice balcony with a great view of the mountains. Rooms was positive on me not very new — but all this point may be neglected. The terrace and a gazebo outside invite you to linger. We were all in agreement – the hotel Gesser with atmosphere, friendliness, cleanliness and quality of food and drink far exceeds all expectations.

I was a guest at the Gessers in August for the second time. A very well run small hotel with very friendly hosts. Especially the evening meal is super tasty and the breakfast buffet is outstanding. Again and again.

We are now 33 years in Hotel Gesser and are always back up satisfied. The small but fine family hotel is suitable for all ages. Family Gesser is always attempting to spoil the guests. The service — whether in the guest room or in the kitchen and clean rooms — are unique. One needs only his desire to announce and already this is fulfilled.
Feel easily, therefore the hotel Gesser has too many regulars who keep coming back.
