Members from our Croquet Club in WA, attended the York Doubles Croquet Golf Tournament. We all stayed at Swann Lodge. We were made very welcome by Peter and had a lovely cooked breakfast each day by Debbie, who also advised of places to visit if we had time. We enquired if we bought meat for BBQ, if there were facilities available and could we use on Sunday as we thought that would be nice to have on our last day of the tournament. Arriving back at the Lodge after a long and very cold day. Everything was laid out for us. Plates, Cutlery, Condiments and a nice Gas Fire. Such a very personal touch and was not expected. Members also enjoyed a game of Mini Golf. Thank you Debbie and Peter for wonderful weekend. We will be back.
My family from the UK stayed for 2 nights. They could not have been happier. The room. The breakfast. The gardens all outstanding. Many thanks to Deb and Peter for there hospitality. You both should be so proud of Swann Lodge.
