What an amazing place to stay.

We loved our stay at Faversham House! Rooms very spacious and comfortable! only thing it took a long time for the water to heat up in the shower! Breakfast was fantastic and cooked well by owner Nola Bliss who is also an amazing host! Both Nola and Richard doing a fantastic job! Loved it!

A very special and comfortable end to our family road trip. The cooked breccy an absolute treat. The bed extremely comfortable and kids loved playing chess in the drawing room. Lovely to experience old world elegance. Will definitely be returning and allow more time to sit by the fire and loaf around the library.

My friends and I had a great time in York. Faversham House is such a beautiful place. Nola and Richard made our visit very welcome.

Stayed here twice in their Cute beautifully clean courtyard villas, in the well kept, historically interesting and peaceful gardens. Good supplies of towels and toiletries provided. I like the place, it’s clean and comfortable and the owners are lovely people.

Rooms were great and so were the staff.

We always love returning to Faversham, this lovely old home steeped in history is so warm and cosy. It’s so peaceful, and quiet yet the ‘old world charm’ is what we love so much. We also find Alex and Fabian such genuine, warm hosts who make us feel so special, and cannot do enough to help. Because of them we will always feel welcome and return again and again! The accommodation is so special as well and we love sitting on the veranda having a wine of an evening, it’s very relaxing! Then in the evening wandering down to the town centre for dinner, gazing up at the stars as you walk there.

Wedding ceremony & reception. First appointment was amazing, second appointment we were forgotten about. On the day of the wedding I arrived to the Faversham house & the dance floor was well from what I had arranged with management, it was wooden, unlevel, slippery and duct taped in the center (which my mum fell and broke her wrist on). Young Lady organising house asked me how I would like my tables set, which once again was pre arranged and an image was also sent through to management. A nanny was also pre arranged that was also forgotten on the day of the wedding. The owner was rude to myself & now won't have any more correspondence with me? I find this place a disgrace for the $ we paid. House sure speaks for itself. & they will tell you that you have access to the entire house & then keep it locked on you.

My hubby and I went to celebrate our 5th Anniversary and had Christmas in July it was an amazing relaxing stay, great guests and the best hosts ever and their love for the place shows. The food especially the mince pies (to die for) was great and to top it off they manage to get Santa to pop along too we will be back next year thank you so much for letting us stay at this beautiful place.

Christmas (in July) as I remember before all day TV and Internet — just wonderful! A crackling fire in the drawing room, wonderful company, copious amounts of delicious food and mulled wine that would have brought a smile even if you had spent the whole day knee deep in snow. Having grown up in old Europe the historic nature of Faversham took me right back to my childhood. As we walked into the grounds I could feel all the demands of modern life being left in the car park. A wonderful place to take a break and lots of games and books to keep everyone entertained. Thank you for a wonderful Xmas!

Faversham House is a wonderful weekend getaway. We fell in love with the beautiful home, comfortable and relaxing rooms and warm hospitality of Esther, Ken and the family. We stayed in the Peppertree Room, which has an ensuite. Be sure to try the homemade lemon curd and have a drink by the fire in the drawing room with other guests. A wonderful treat if you are looking for a taste of the quiet and decadent country life.

Wow! Faversham House is amazing and so are the staff — thank you Ester and all other staff. The venue was perfect for my vintage/rustic theme and York is a gorgeous little town. Beautiful photo opportunities. We could not have asked for a better, more magical day and our guests were left feeling the same. We all loved being guests for 2 nights and we were so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! It was great being able to have a dinner the night before at The York Palace Hotel — the food was great. Thank you helping is to create a unique and stunning wedding and beautiful moments that we will cherish for life. Emma and Richard.

Amazing we just had our wedding here, The house itself is stunning the pictures dont do it justice Esther is a god send and nothing was any trouble at all everything was set up on the day without me having to lift a finger leaving me feeling totally relaxed the end result was nothing short of amazing all of the rooms were absolutely beautiful and the breakfasts and lunch really yummy I would highly recommend faversham to any future brides.

Wow what beautiful old colonial mansion house full of character and charm. Welcoming hosts and a relaxing nights stay was had. Cant wait to go back, thanks Richard and Nola.

Certainly not luxury as advertised and priced. Room was large but walls patched with different colour paint, curtains wouldn't close 4 inch gap, B&B's offer something extra nothing extra here except an old building. Breakfast poor, tea and coffee in rooms just a couple teabags and nescafe satchel plus UHT milk about what you get in a 2 star motel. Very poor value compared to other B&B's we stayed at in our WA tour.
