Really good rooms a king size bed balcony at the back cooking facilities very clean neat and tidy and centrally located right place to stay.

Nice and clean room. Central to town.

Location is great, nestled in beautiful gardens. Staff customer service can not be faulted, happy helpful staff at all times. Would highly recommend for single travellers, family's or couples. Perfect base to see surrounding areas.

Friendly staff clean nice pool.

Nice and quiet with quite a large room that had a veranda overlooking the pool. Very comfortable. The bed was a little too soft for our liking but you get that!

Clean rooms with peaceful surroundings. Great place to stay, close to town & Karri Forest. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Clean & tidy rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Our children loved the little playground and pool facilities.
Bbq area was great. Perfect spot to wind down after a busy day exploring Pemberton. Will definitely be back.

Great accommodation. We arrived late and they had us all sorted. Picked up the key and straight into the room with the heater on.

The location of the motel is peaceful. However there were some things that we did not like. To start with, Guests are required to wash the utensils and plates etc. They use. I’ve never come across this before, anywhere in Australia or elsewhere. AND to top it off, if you don’t, then you will be charged $25.00! The room itself was ok. There was a light broken and the hot water tap in the sink in the bathroom was really a pain. The motel doesn’t have any meals and there are no bowls provided in the rooms for cereals for breakfast etc. The only plates are bread and butter plates. There is a good restaurant in Pemberton at the Great Western, and I thoroughly recommend it. Maybe, when the motel has new owners they’ll be able to get a chef and reopen the restaurant and supply a cooked breakfast. Not sure if we’d stay here again, despite the rates being reasonable.

Old and faulty hotel equipment. Not recommended for staying. Will not return. Pemberton is too quiet and not worth staying in.

Dirty towel and bedsheets. Poor and old toilet facilities. Most of the nearby shops are closed during winter, so limited amenities nearby. Will avoid staying at pemberton and karri forest motel in future.

Pretty nice place, a bit basic and if you go in the off season be prepared to eat elsewhere! But for the price it was good and we would stay again.

Good facilities for a motel. Located near IGA so shopping for groceries is easy.

Needs new hot water system but very nice.

It could just be a little cleaner. Rooms are very large as well as the bathroom. Gloucester Tree is within walking distance.

Killed a moth and a cockroache once got into the room. Room smell bad and dusty, wardrobe is even worse and not usable.

A good place to have a staycation, it has a restaurant/cafe as well as place to barbeque and best of all free Wi-Fi. However as a foreign visitor, I feel that many facilities goes unused and is rather unnessary as we were almost never in the motel until night time. So as a foreigner, it's not exactly worth your money. But if I were a local, I would love to spend a few days there every holiday.

What a joke! Room was totally overpriced and service was non existent. Booked this hotel as it had a restaurant attached which avoided me going out again after a long day. Arrived to be told that the Restaurant is closed and that I should have asked when I booked if it was open. Room was very basic and totally overpriced for what was provided. This is the very first time that I have been in a hotel room that supplies coffee and tea but no milk! Also the first time that I have ever been threatened with a $25 fee for not doing my own dishes! Would I recommend this place? Absolutely not and as you can possibly guess, I will not be gracing their doorstep again.

Motel is 10 minutes away from Glochester tree. Convenient location. A good place to stop and get a good night rest.

We stayed a night at the standard Queen room. The room was spacious and had a microwave, toaster, coffee making stuffs etc. Plus there was also free Wi-Fi. Overall it was a great night stay. A plus point is it's just 1.5 km to the Gloucester National Park where you can attempt to climb the 53 metres Gloucester Tree!

Very good experience on this motel, always clean, very good restaurant food and very nice staff. 5* deserved.

Clean rooms if a liitle old. Nice location and price. Restaurant was closed when we stayed as the chef had left suddenly.

Incredibly expensive! We were charged extra for a newborn, even though we supplied our own port-a-cot, high chair etc. We had a 'deluxe family room' but the kitchen had 2 forks, one spoon and four knives, one bowl! Very dated, smelt like 'slept in bodies'. Bed was old, uncomfortable and lumpy, pillows smelt like other people. Mould in shower, hair dryer broken. Son sat on arm chair and a great plume of dust appeared. Motel advertised DVD player and free movies, no DVD player and no info in the motel about free movies. Called reception to no answer, twice. Grounds were lovely and well kept but didn't detract from the out dated over priced room. We stay at a lot of hotel/motels in south west Australia around $150 per night and this motel is below standard of the norm.

This place is so nice and cozy … and the boss is also the chef in the silver birch restaurant! Haha… nice food. … the boss is so friendly that he offered help to make a trip to petrol station for us to make sure the gas card vending machine is working fine before we drive out while having super low gas! Appreciate it. Thanks so much …

Enjoyed my stay at the Karri Forest Motel. Had booked a double room and a family room. Bed's were very soft, the interior was a little dated (but still serviceable) but really it was the surroundings that we were there for. Being surrounded by the forest was amazing. The restaurant attached to the motel was very nice. The desserts were the stand out of the meal. Maybe skip the risotto, ours was under cooked.

Even though the price was low we were very disappointed the room was damp to the point that the carpet felt wet, the shower flooded, the bathroom was full of dead fly's and the room smelt stale and did not feel clean at all.

Thrilled to find this gem. Reasonably priced, comfortable with all we needed, including peace and quiet. Shower was phenomenal after a day of travelling.

Was disappointed first we were over charged by the young receptionist and then she told us she doesnt accept RAC members discount even though they had a huge sign outside. We were refunded a small amount in the accommodation but were told that the owner wasnt there so we couldnt get a discount as an RAC member. Room was clean and very nice one little problem was the TV is small and old plus the showers are old. All in all a nice place.

Had a lovely stay at Karri Forest. Accomodation is comfortable, clean and staff are terrific. Location is ideal — quietly set in wonderful gardens away from the main street. Award winning restaurant was a memorable experience. WOW! Highly Recommended.
