Best place we have stayed at so far! cottages are an excellent design, nice and peaceful, full self contained and waking up to the sound of birds on your balcony is a nice change from sirens and traffic. 10/10

These cottages are a "hidden gem". The property is beautiful and natural. Even though there are several cottages you feel like you are all alone in nature. The cottages were very clean and felt very homely. The hosts were very welcoming and lovely and very accommodating. Would go back and stay there tomorrow if I could. Can't wait to go back.

Couldn't have dreamed of a better place to stay at for the beginning of 2020! Hansel cottage was absolutely perfect and Zach and I already cannot wait to return later this year. Thanks you Bev and Ken for allowing us to stay in such a magical location ❣

The cottage is well set up. Very cosy. We have been in a lot of accommodation and this is one of the best we have stayed in.

Highly recommend this wonderful gem of the south west. Booked 4 nights but extended to 5, just didn't want to leave. Lovely retreat from the hussle of everyday life. We will definately be back.

Perfect for a weekend escape just beautiful had the best time we stayed in Gretel clean comfortable just lovely going back again next year.

Perfect winter getaway location! Yes — it is not located on the lakeside. It is not as big and well promoted like the RAC Karri Valley resort. It also doesn't have onsite restaurant and general store like RAC's resort. However, its location is very private and secluded inside the karri forest. The place is so charming that makes you feel you are in a magical place deep in the wood. There are only 7 cottages onsite which makes it a perfect retreat place. Not too crowded and not too lonely. Each of the cottage is equipped with a spa, fireplace and bbq equipment so you can relax and enjoy your time away from the rest of the world. Our cottage was the Robin Hood which has two bedrooms with Queen size beds. Perfect for a family with 2 kids. The place was surprisingly very comfy and had all the necessary equipments, including a rechargeable torch (which is very useful as it is very dark outside at night). All the equipment's instructions are provided in details, which is very thoughtful of the owners. The hospitality of the owners are excellent. From the moment of arrival, we were explained the best attractions surrounding the place and how to get there. They are even willing to go the extra miles to make calls to reserve a place at local restaurants. The heater was turned on to give us a homy and cosy welcome on arrival. Nothing was too difficult for them to make us feel at home. The children were so happy that they could borrow some movies and board games.

Nice place to relax and enjoy the nature.

The owners are some of the kindest people I have ever met and the cottages are clean and very self sufficient I will definitely be going back.

Relaxing among the tall timbers without a phone going off to disturb the peace… pure bliss! Romantic nights in front of an open fire. What more could you ask for?

A magical romantic escape in the forest has been created on Storybook Lane. Small touches that give the cabins a unique flair, plus the luxury of a wood fire and spa to relax and unwind. Cannot recommend highly enough. Already planning our next visit, only next time will be for 3 nights of more.

This place was beautiful, the staff where extremely helpful and friendly. We got to have a quick peek at a few cottages and Romeo and Juliet are nice cottage getaway friends or families with a few big beds inside and hansel and Gretel was a romantic getaway for a couple there was other family cottages even a more studio looking cottage all very beautiful and unique I would defiantly come back!

Pretty lovely spot, and we'll kitted out. Few things could do with a Polish but not real complaints. Would stay again.

The serenity, tranquility simply beautiful.

My husband and I traveled to Beedelup House Cottages from Perth to have a get away weekend. We were very impressed with the cottages, we stayed in the Robin Hood cottage and found it was perfectly suited to a romantic getaway. Bev the owner and grounds keeper was very friendly and accommodating. We borrowed umbrellas, games, dvds and she kindly let us use her large marron pot for cooking. We were even spoiled with fresh eggs from her chooks. (the chooks like to be pet) The cottage was clean and tidy with a TV with DVD player, a large 2 person spa bath was perfect for a cold rainy night. The beds are comfortable and the cottage has reverse cycle heating and air-conditioning that worked very well. I was happy to find a cheese knife, plenty of wine glasses and even cooking oil on hand. This cabin has had a gas oven and stove top, we where about to cook two beautiful meals while staying in the Robin Hood cottage. I forgot to mention the large and clean BBQ on the porch! Perfect! You can't as for more. No phone and internet was a welcome relief, allowing us to switch off from our daily lives and just enjoy the tranquil Karri Trees. This cottage is a perfect size for a couple or a family with small children. Its cozy and welcoming. Can't wait to go back!
