Old fashioned dated rooms, frozen special microwave meals, overpriced, steaks none under $30. Staff rude.

Came here 03/01/22 and the main of beef cheeks, pasta and burger was great. Came back on the 04/01/22 ordered chicken schnitzel with pepper sauce and it was disgusting. Brought this to the attention of the staff who were great about it however the duty manager balled the staff member out in front of customers, utterly disgusted as disgraceful. The manager needs at attitude adjustment and further training in the service industry.

Rolled up with 30 hungry bikers today everyone had their orders within half an hour food was great beer was cold. Would highly recommend.

Had the worst experience ever. Booking in was easy but getting a receipt for payment was an issue. After emails, calls and finally asking another person it finally got sorted.
Came back to the room after dinner and drinks at the Sandpiper tavern which was great (I believe the Sandpiper is owned by the same people who own the motel) to find the power to power points would not work. No TV, no lamps, no fridge and the kettle was tripping the fuses. Tried tree times to get another kettle third time lucky from a vacant room.
This really is totally unacceptable when you pay $120 per night.
Rooms are clean and tidy.
It’s a shame the other issues make it difficult to recommend this motel.

So impressed with the new menu! I had the beef brisket which was one of the best meals I have ever eaten. The rest of the group were all really impressed especially with the garlic prawns.

Just want to say how impressed I was to see how well the staff (including the manager Jason) dealt with the single most atrocious group of sub humans that called themselves customers. No service personel deserve that and they handled it with great dignity. Also always great food!

Our home away from home. This hotel and the staff are incredible, very accommodating and easy to work with! My hubby and I just had our wedding reception at the pub here the past week and Dianne was very helpful and friendly while talking with us over the entire planning time. Thank you so much, we will never forget it and we will definitely be back for more holidays.

For a country pub, meals very pricey. Thought maybe they’d be large but no. Found ourselves passing around chips and bread to fill up. Had the ribs myself. Super sweet sauce. Won’t go again.

After a great day skydiving we treated ourselves to a seafood platter which we shared and I can say it was the best seafood platter we have had, highly recommend it. Great value for under a $100 nearly didn’t finish the crayfish mornay but shoved it in. Thanks to the chefs and staff a member able experience.

Nothing beats a local pub, and what makes it better is great food. We ate here on 18 Oct 2019 and thoroughly enjoyed our meal so kudos to the chef (s)

Tasting plate was huge. However they brought mains out before we'd even finished. Only fault.

Over priced beer and food… for a hotel that could be drawing in tourists it really is disgraceful. School holidays, Friday lunchtime and we were the only people in there. $24 for 2 pints of beer. Pub meals priced and Perth restaurant prices. For a family that has a holiday house up here and visits every other weekend, the pub is NOT an affordable place to venture to. So, Mum still has to cook. Seriously JBH?!

Really friendly bar staff, quick and attentive whenever we walked up to grab a drink. Food and service was great. And when the jukebox ate our credits, the staff were kind enough to help us out with more. We enjoyed 2 great nights. Cheers!

Penelope and Josh were very accomodating. We came in 1/2 hour before service ended and they were very friendly and polite seated us in Juggys restaurant and took our orders… Josh came out and advised us dinner wouldn't be long and it wasn't. Great value for money and couldn't ask for a better dinner. Totally recommend this establishment for all travelers to get a good feed… the music was fantastic overall ambiance was just right. Thanks Penelope for your hospitality you shine as front of house manager.

One more staff member and everything would have been perfect.

Well it's not exactly Mecca for craft beer lovers but it is what it is… good old fashioned down to earth local Aussie pub complete with over-priced Thai beef curry ($28), blue pool table (this is the Turquoise Coast) and Happy Hour $9 pints. Curiously attached to the incongruous "Juggy's Bar" which is a smaller version of the Hotel, offering the same exquisite fare.

Chicken scaloppine is not scaloppine at all. Don't go for it if you expect real one. It's only chicken with sour cream. They might change the menu a bit.

Waited far too long for 2/4 meals to come out then another half hour for the next two. Fishermen’s basket and chicken scaloppine were bland and unpleasant to eat. Would not recommend.

The Chicken Parma was second to none and the kids were super happy to receive ice cream after their kids meal. To top things off, a great quiz night! Thanks for having us JBH!

Just had the best steak and ribs ever, melt in your mouth steak only bettered by finishing off my wife's Thai curry prawn dish. Best meals I've ever had in Jurien Bay!

My boyfriend had finished his entire meal by the time mine came out, which made sense because my medium steak was well done. The sauce was so thin I couldn’t even keep it on the steak. They obviously made another stuff up at the table behind us but offered her a free drink. All I got was sorry for the wait. Pretty pathetic for a $70+ dinner for two.

Good place for an overnight stay. Or longer if desired. Nice friendly staff. Clean rooms. Good meals.

I thought the place was OK. Sure, it is budget accommodation, but never had any problems. Stayed there 3 times in 2008, had 2 excellent steak dinners in the bistro. Slept thru the music from the entertainment one Saturday night. Would stay there again.

Hotel accommodation was nice but dated, unfortunately hotel guests are not considered regarding the use of the restaurant. Stayed for 3 nights, 2 out of the 3 nights the restaurant either closed early or dining areas closed off without warning or informing the hotel guests.

Fabulous location. Rooms are old but very clean. Great service staff extremely friendly and most helpful. Good pub food.

They said it was basic. However there’s basic then there’s dirty rotting horrible rooms.

The rooms are good. Bottom line is that you get what you pay for here. I Like the Bar and the meals are really good. The menu is huge which is okay in quiet times. But could see it being a problem when really busy. Too much confusion and that was on a Wednesday night. Asbestos roofing on the motel units needs sorting. Sometimes things just need to be done in a place that has a license to print. Staff are really good. I like it here and think 3 star rating is fair.

4 Adults and 2 kids, 3 Fish&chips, a chicken Parmi and kids nuggets and chips. Parmi was great, Red Spotted Emperer was very nice. The chips with the fish were a bit cold but a simple request to drop them back in to heat them a little was greeted with very proffessional attitude from chef snd watress. Even though the chip were the only issue and a simple re — frying for about 30 sec would have been ok, the cooked us fresh chips and also offered us a round of drinks (which would have been around $25-$30), even though nothing extra was not asked for. Excellent customer service and even without the extra round of drinks, was excellent value for money. I would have no issue recommending friends to visit this premisis for a meal. Atmousphere was great, and nice a clean. Staff very friendly and quick to correct an issue without making the customer feel awkward by asking anything. Well done to all staff, made our night even better with your proffesional attutude to customer service. Aaa+

Great place for a pub meal. Been there a couple of times and never disappoints.

Food was poor! I ordered bangers and mash, the whole meal must have been microwaved! Carrots were like bullets, gravy was like over cooked mud! Never again!

There were 4 of us. Two ladies had the seafood basket. The bald chin grouper was Devine. Thanks chef. The two boys had the wagyu burger and both loved it. The service was fantastic!

Who ever wrote all the other whinges must been on a bad day we have eaten 3 nights in a row and could not fault the place. The food was great and service even better. Will for sure be back.

Rooms were ok, bathroom was clean, decor was dated. Nothing wrong with what I've said so far. But the biggest issue was the bed. It was terrible. Springs would poke into your body at strange areas. Was one of the most uncomfortable sleeps in my life.

Also known as "Juggy's Bar and Bistro". Typical country WA pub, huge menu, icy cold beer, quick service and friendly staff. It's the pub where all the locals seem to eat and drink which must be a good sign.

Watch the sports and drink the beers.

We did a fantastic skydive at Jurien bay skydive last Tuesday we had ordered videos of our jumps and the lady at reception told us to go to the Jurien bay sports bar and we would get a free drink for each person that jumped with every first drink bought. There was 10 of us headed over 6 adults and four kids, to the worst welcome I have ever received anywhere. The lady behind the bar was very very rude. 2 had ordered food and drink and with her rudeness I refused to spend a cent in there so the other meals were cancelled and we left and ate elsewhere.
Manners cost nothing and if you can't be nice to people that have come to spend money then I'd get a job elsewhere.
Will not be returning.

Rooms were extremely basic, and probably over due a bit of a refresh, however it is cheap. Worth noting if booked through other websites you maybe told they will take payment on arrival, however they charge your card in the morning of your arrival date. Which caused us to incur charges on our card!

Rude, unclean, lack of service. Saved myself $$$ by just walking out when I saw lack of customer service, dirty premises and rude staff to busy chatting. Food poisoning waiting to happen.

The reception was very friendly and although it is an older style motel, the room was very clean and well maintained. The price is reasonable for country WA and the meals available at the bar are good value.

Save your money, this pub is rubbish, and have extremely over priced alcohol and food.
