We had a great time staff were so friendly and the room was super clean and quiet. Our 18 month old loved swimming in the warm pool. The breakfast buffet at mesh was yum with lots of variety and the staff were very helpful With our sons allergy’s and made him food that he could have.

Very disappointed with the experience! Arrived just after 2pm. The room wasn’t ready. We were asked to come back without giving a time to return. 2 hours later still waiting outside on a winter’s day with two children for the hotel to call us back re the room. Don’t know what time the room will be ready.

We were here for mandatory detainment due to overseas travel. Most staff treated us as if we were not worthy of engaging with. Made us feel less than human. A few of them were kind. The food was not good, with lots of stale pastries and sugary items. Not sure it was from the hotel, but was in their packaging.

Did my mandatory quarantine. Most of things are fantastic except food. They did not provide any suitable food for kids when complained 4/5 times then they started to provide something better than green salad for my kids.

Doing isolation worst food ever worst room service drinks list very poor for so called 5 star hotel.

Probably not normal service, since I’m here under government quarantine… but it’s been absolutely appalling. Luke warm food, missed meals, missing cutlery, slow service — for anything — takes hours if not days to get simple things done. First room was about 25 degrees, took two days to get moved. They ignore emails, tell you on the phone they will do something, but don’t … usually takes 3-5 tries to get something simple done. Total bureaucratic nightmare.

Spent our wedding Anniversary, it was a nice hotel with our city view hotel, walking distance to the Conservatory where we had our dinner. Staff are friendly, The man from the parking was nice too. Lovely breakfast hot food.

My partner bought me 2nights at crown promenade for my Xmas present absolutely amazing champers and chocolates on arrival perfect buffet breaks amazing room was a bit warm they fixed the problem immediately and for inconvenience gave me another bottle of champagne and chocolates staff fabulous nothing is a worry for them this is my third visit know we plan on saving and coming back every 6 months we leave here in 1 hour can't wait for next time xoxo.

We had an absolute amazing nights stay at crown promenade. From the front check-in served by the lovely Anastasya who was extremely polite and gave us complimentary wine & chocolates. We were on level 22 which had amazing views of the CBD. The room was spacious, very clean and had everything we needed. We'll definitely be back again.

Room modern style very nice and cozy. It comes with a well-stocked minibar, capacious cabinets with iron, bathrobes and cobblers. The very large bathroom, with a shower of above normal size is accessories for cleaning the body. From the bed you can admire the view of the city and the skyscrapers. Very varied and good continental breakfast. The hotel is connected directly to the casino from the inside via a tunnel. I highly recommend.

Mixed emotions on my stay here… breakfast buffet “fantastic” extensive varied yummy food to be had and an extensive range of seasoned fruit galore. My room, very satisfactory excluding the lighting in the bathroom, hard to see the coverage of my face paint adequately. Upon leaving went down to reception saying my shoes had gone walk abouts and should house keeping find them to call me. Called back 5times, spoke 2@ reception and 1 @ house keeping on two different days and still could not get a answer and still have not heard as I give this review. Appalling service to say the least!

Great amenities, perfect location, enjoyed our stay. Generous checkout extension of 1 hour. The water tap knob is broken in bath room. The Landline instructions are not clear say connection to housekeeping. Took a while to check our room for any consumption upon checkout.

Air conditioning left me too hot or cold, bed was laid poorly, so I slept on wrinkles. Breakfast service was slow and hopeless.

Aesthetically this hotel is great. The mattress on the bed is comfortable and the breakfast buffet is outstanding. Sadly though the rooms are freezing. My partner and I turned the air on on when we arrived and it got too hot so we turned it down then off. When we turned it back on again in the evening the air was freezing. We fiddled with it and gave up. The following evening we called for maintenance to look at it and they told us that according to their readings it is warmer in our room than the previous day. They had a look at the unit and told us that we have it set to 30 and it cuts out at 25 degrees anyway. I told them that we were sweating the previous day when it was on 29 and that it is cold now even on 30. Basically said that that’s as hot as it’s going to get. We have a 4 month old baby in the room and need to maintain a reasonable temperature and think it’s ridiculous that their heating doesn’t work properly. Also, why have the thermostat go up to 30 if it is set to cut out at 25!? Sounds like energy saving measures at my expense. In maintenances defense the guy was very polite but that doesn’t change the fact that I’m cold. Please fix your climate control Crown and don’t cap the temperature. I know how warm I want my room and it’s above 25 degrees!

I stayed here while traveling. Very nice because everything you need is in the hotel which is dangerous because you may find yourself spending all your time in your hotel and but spending taking in the sights of the city. The hotel has a casino so it has a night club, movie theater, many restaurants, a food court, shopping and probably other things that I am forgetting. It's in the CBD and has a great view. It's walking distance from the historic alleyways or you can take a train. I would stay here again if I'm ever on the other side of the world again.

We are currently staying in the hotel and all the facilities are great our room is awesome with great views. We are staying here for our 10th wedding anniversary and thought the hotel would maybe give us a bottle of bubbly on our arrival but nothing was in there a little disappointed really. Every time we have stayed somewhere in the city we have always received something and for our 10th anniversary you would think they would make our stay special.

My partner and I stayed at crown promenade 2 weeks ago, we had a lovely time and the hotel itself was great, however the service we received after leaving was absolutely appalling. We checked out on a Tuesday, and by the Wednesday the $200 deposit had come out of my account. It was initially explained to me that this deposit would just be held in my pending transactions, and released upon check out. So I made a phone call to try and figure out what happened. I woman answere…d the phone and I have never been so offended in my life.
I always try to be polite to people working in customer service, as I work in customer service and know how it feels to listen to grumpy people day in day out. So I politely asked her if she could please explain the process. Everytime I tried to ask a question she talked over the top of me, didn't check any details, and was continuously rude even when I asked her to stop interrupting me. Eventually I had enough of her behaviour and asked to speak to her manager. To which she responded "I am the manager on duty" I said that's fine, but you are not the manager, I would like to speak to your manager please. She then said "I'll call you back" and hung up on me! Of course she never called me back. I later called and spoke to a lovely man working at the front desk.

I attended a "52 WAY" Seminar with Dale Beaumont. I had a great experience. Found it e little hard to find the room at first, but there were guards everywhere so with a little help, I found my way, and after that, it was easy. The room were spacious, not too hot/cold. And food available nearby as well. Only wish they had a little more Vegan food available in food court. However, in saying that, I haven't seen all of the food courts, so I might be wrong. Overall, great experience.

Wonderful hotel with spacious rooms overlooking the city. Unreal view at all times. Bed was very comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. Definitely a worthwhile stay. Prices are also very reasonable especially for what they offer. Strongly recommended.

Hotel overcharged my credit card. I emailed front desk a copy of my statement for them to print out. It was a transaction they done without telling me. Twin room. Cleanliness 4/5. Great view. Comfortable beds. Will update how reception deals with my overcharged credit card. UPDATE: Hotel sorted my credit card and all misunderstandings were promptly and efficiently dealt with in a timely manner. They reversed charges and apologised accordingly. Staff were very obliging in helping where possible. I'm very happy with my stay at the Crown Promenade. Updated rating from 2☆ to 5☆ Highly recommend :)

Crown Promenade is a very nice hotel with clean rooms. Very convenient location. Also there are so many restaurants to choose from from fine dining to casual dining. You don't even have to walk out of the building and can enjoy your stay there with lots of shopping and entertainment. The service from all staff is superb.

The location is nice and a great place just for an overnight or even week stay. But the floor is kind of gross and the fact that I fee like people can see into the bathroom, when I'm in the nude, is a bit strange. Room service menu is a bit expensive for what you're getting. But a great place to sleep, and comfortable too. Only stay here if you spend all your time out and about. My view wasn't good so make sure to ask for a good room.

Lots of great shops and restaurants. Very impressed with their Xmas decorations and beautiful gigantic Xmas tree. Could improve the car Park situation. Found it very confusing when I had to return to my car. Also they should have concession parking for people holding concession or pension cards. It cost me $50 for 3hours. Was not impressed at all.

I love the location of the Crown right in the city so convenient how there's so much to do in the crown complex. Friendly staff, amazing customer service. We'll be definitely staying at the crown whenever we are in Melbourne.

This was our 1st time at the hotel and it did not disappoint. We stayed in a suite on 22nd floor. Room was very comfortable and very well appointed.
We ordered room service on 2 occasions. The food was excellent and beautifully presented.
Breakfast was a little manic but the staff were attentive and the food selection excellent.
The hotel is well situated with easy access to Southbank and the CBD.
Our stay was very enjoyable and we will definately book again when wanting a break in the city.

We stayed here for our visit to Melbourne for the Pan Pacific IBJJF Championships for 3 nights. Amazing place — 24 hour reception is great as we didn't get in until roughly 1am. The rooms are great — very clean, massive bathrooms, very friendly staff. Rooms come with a few magazines also, which is nice. Level 3 is a great plus! The pool & spa and alfresco area overlooking the city, with deck chairs all around the relax. The pool bathrooms with showers and huge, with lockers and don't forget about the sauna and steam room! Connect to the Crown Casino to walk through, also through to the Riverside with more restaurants. Upon checking out on our last day they let you leave your luggage with the Concierge as we went into the city for lunch, which is within walking distance. Thanks Crown Promenade!

Great place. Nice and clean. Food at the breakfast buffet was amazing. I feel the scrambled eggs though needed a few minutes longer to cook. Other than that perfect!

Room was nice. But I have stayed in nicer. Expensive for a one night stay. Smoking room option was great. Fire alarm went off at 9am on Sunday morning. Had to walk down 21 flights of stairs to get to the lobby where we were told it was a false alarm and that we can go back to our rooms. No apologies, no reasons. Just Coast is clear. Bit disappointing.

I stayed at Crown Promenade this weekend while in Melbourne for Fictionally Yours, Melbourne which was held in the Crown Convention Centre. The room was great, it was clean and comfortable and had a great view! The pool was AMAZING! But honestly, the staff were the highlight of my stay. They were very helpful and professional but more importantly they were all genuinely friendly. I can't wait to stay there again.

Wonderful reception from the staff, from valet to room service everyone is a pleasure to deal with. We were half an hour ready so were sent to rooms that were already prepared and also given late check out. The rooms are beautiful; clean and fresh with a large bathroom. There is enough room for the whole family in the shower. The pool area is on level three looking out over the city. Very clean and once again staff were amazing.

Was a 10 year anniversary gift to my wife, mentioned this and not a single thing was said, not a gift of chocolates or wine when we got in the room. As a silver member, no hotel gift or newspaper. Room was great upgraded to studio room with views. Breakfast in the morning was very average. Overall 4 stars for the room and down scored for various other things mentioned.

The most comfortable bed and pillow I have slept on in a hotel! Hotel receptionist very courteous. Concierge didn't know the minimum age of children requiring a Myki pass tho. Overall loved the stay!

Firstly I would like to mention this has been the worse experience I've had with staying at crown… especially crown promenade. Their service was extremely poor and rude and took at least 30 mins just to try check me in at desk and even longer to me out. I had booked in a week before at the reception desk so that I could check in without problems… the guy working on the day told me valet parking and breakfast was included. However when checking out they wanted to pay for valet and the breakfast that was included in my package and I had even paid for a upgrade on my room and late check out… and tried charging me again for that! Also to mention took $20 out of my account without permission! So I will be following this up! Worse place to stay and will never going back! Service was poor, asked to have room made up never got done and service to the room was very very slow!

I had dinner at a restaurant called Mesh. It's an all you can eat restaurant and was a lovely experience. I was with some friends from work, celebrating a co-workers departure from the organisation, and we couldn't have had a better time. The food was delicious and the presentation of the restaurant was beautiful. Highly recommend Mesh if you're not afraid to spend a bit of money.

Crown Promenade is a great hotel with spacious rooms and large walk in showers. The service here was amazing and I would go back again. There is a gym, pool, spa, steam room and dry sauna in the shared facilities area so it is a great way to relax and unwind or keep up your gym routine while on holiday or business. If you get a room facing the CBD you will have amazing views.

Took my partner as a surprise for her birthday and the experience was excellent! The reception staff were extremely knowledgeable, and arranged everything as I required. And finally when we were leaving, Cameron from the valet went out of his way in helping us to get parking and direct us to the places we wanted to visit! Thank you guys!

Crown Promenade has a fantastic location, perfectly seated between gaming, entertainment and restaurants. The rooms are clean and has a beautiful view. Service was professional with smiles. Our valour parking was only to 2pm but they made an exception to extend it for us so we can go to the movies.

First time staying at crown promenade, we were suitably impressed. Room was clean, spacious and luxurious. The view from the 16th floor of the city was incredible. Location is great, a short walk to southbank where there's restaurants aplenty. Buffet breakfast was amazing lots of great food. Only downside was the champagne we booked at 5pm didn't show up. So at 6pm we rang through and it was promptly delivered. Great hotel if you are visiting Melbourne, especially if you are spending time at the casino.

Friendly staff. I was looking forward to a nice, big, comfy king bed but it ended up being two king singles pushed together and wasn't as comfortable as I'd hoped. Room service was quick and although a little expensive, there was plenty of food to make up for it.

We recently stayed 3 nights at the Crown Promenade which were most enjoyable. Our room was very comfortable with a great outlook over the city and the housekeeping staff kept everything perfectly clean during our stay. Our package includes breakfast each morning which offered a wide variety but not a real coffee but one was always made for us at our request. The location for us on our trip was so central and we able to walk to wherever we needed or catch a tram.

While it may be the cheapest of the three crown complexes, its by no means a bad place to stay. Decent size rooms, comfy beds, easy access to city.

Staff were fantastic and we were very happy with our King Corner room. We used the pool and gym, both of which were well maintained and clean. Overall perfect accommodation for a great night out with friends.

Nice place for stay. During the time stay via special promotion from crown membership card. Reception really doing their job. But just last night have some misunderstanding with the maneger for some issue and hard to negotiate. Otherwise it's not too bad experience for staying crown promenade.

Stayed with my partner & two teenage children. We all loved staying two nights there. Couldn't fault the rooms location & service we received. We will stay again soon but next time will have to be a longer stay.

Well located with internal access to the main complex. Rooms are modern and ours was spotlessly clean on arrival. Great pool/sauna facility's that the whole family enjoyed. Can be expensive so look out for special's and packages that come up from time to time. All the staff we dealt with were professional and friendly. Not bad. A little bland. Lacks the pizzazz you expect from Crown. If you have cash to flash, I would recommend staying in the Suite which has a spa and a living area, very nice.

Never been here before but the wife wanted to stay somewhere nice and different in Melbourne so I thought I'd give it a try. On arrival I told the valet attendant that I wanted to park my own car. He said I could and I couldn't depending on the reason. I told him I'd had damage at other hotels before by valet and if the back of the ticket he was about to hand me said that the hotel has no liability I wont give him my keys. He said it was too hard to accompany me to the car park so agreed that I could park right in front of the hotel, there was a no parking sign there and also said that there was a camera looking right at it if anything were to happen. I was happy with this arrangement. I checked in and first impression of the room was 'average'. It was clean and neat but didn't have any wow I thought I would have got from something under the 'crown melb' banner. I stayed 1 night and at checkout got to my car and someone had opened a door into it, leaving a scratch on my front passenger door. The manager was called straight away, Joel Gregory who at the time made me feel very confident that they would do something about it and get back to me in 48 hours. 48 hours went by and no reply so I rang him, he actually had 2 days off so I don't know why he said he'd ring in the first place. He rang me back the next day.

Excellent room (on 17th floor) with stunning views over CBD. We were told at check in that we could use the fast Wi-Fi connection without extra charge (normally a $15.90/day option) and it worked fine throughout the hotel. Room was good size and of high standard. Bathroom had large walk in shower but no bath. Great central location with easy walking to all main attractions. We even walked down to the coast and back on a nice track beside the tramway. Highly recommended.

Central location, easily walkable from Flinders and southern cross stations. Good breakfasts and friendly staff. rooms huge for one, very roomy for two. Big walk in shower and large vanity sinks.

The Crown Promenade is a good hotel but lacking the room style to make it a 5. The room I had on 7th floor was nice but was two single pushed together to make one single, it was clean, small but had everything you need, the bathroom was on the big side but downfall of having disabled room, not sure how you survive in rest of the room with wheelchair as it was cramped. The ground floor bar and restaurant are also good but again fall short of 5. The swimming pool is great, however the gym is basic if you after anything other than a treadmill. Comparing to its sister hotel the Metropol is a better option. The Promenade is still a good choice but It's showing its age.
