We visited ballarat on 13 ad 14 Feb 2026 spending Valentine in Ballarat and really did not regret taking the offer to stay in this affordable motel with spacious room.

Recommend it.

Parking excellent.
Checking in awesome I turned up were bit early my room was ready in 10mins.
House keeping everyday… 10/10

Property manager is very nice. Always helpful and welcomes guests with a fresh orange juice.

My Wife & I couldn't speak more highly of Gurpit Singh, at The Sandhurst Motor Inn. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a problem, with The Kettle, not working properly.

This was a return visit and our stay was as pleasant as last time. A fantastic place for our group with comfortable beds and the best of facilities. Great location and very clean and tidy.

This whole house was perfect for our family needs, the house was amazing it had plenty of cutlery/plates/cups etc so you didn’t have to wash to make sure you had enough.

We had a wonderful overnight stay. The room was clean and quaint with heritage features. Super convenient PIN code locks and excellent communication.

Affordable, clean, comfortable accommadation, quiet convenient location, Rai the Manager pleasant and helpful.

I stayed here two nights while visiting Bendigo.
Incredible value. Huge room with dining area, couch and small kitchen. Bathroom was large with double shower and very strong hot water.

After a long day of travelling, we appreciated the warm welcome from Reception staff.
Our spacious room included both dining and lounge seating, and a comfortable bed.

Comfy bed, noise insulation not that great.

It’s like a movie scene! My suggestion is go in a cooler weather. Soooooooooo good! The shampoo lotion and others all have good quality. The service is good.

Bed was amazing, we loved our stay, so did the kids. It was school holidays so super quiet night with no school camps on the go not that it would worry me though.

Great value for the hotel that is actually inside the Sovereign Hill itself so we could walk around inside as well.
Room is a bit dated but it is clean and tidy so I have no complaints.

Very comfortable bed! Very neat and tidy with a renovated bathroom. Conveniently located across the road from Red Energy Stadium so perfect for families travelling for basketball. We will be back!

The rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean, great place to stay especially if you have a function next door.

The rooms are clean and basic.
Unfortunately my sons bed had quite a large spider run across it while he was lying on it so not the greatest start.

Arrival was very easy, there is a 4M high entrance so perfect for larger vans and caravans. Lots of parking, my room was upgraded as I was a member of the Accor.

Amazing location and facilities, the pool was a highlight for the kids, will definitely be staying here again!

We stayed in Yarrowee Cottage for four nights at the end of May. It was a warm and cosy place to come back to after a day out exploring the local areas of Ballarat and Castlemaine.

I would say 3.5, but it’s not a choice. We stayed 2 nights in one of the cabins (disabled access cabin 5) the bed was very comfortable, a king that can be split. The shower was excellent.

This was such a lovely country getaway!
Rooms are simple but clean, cosy and with everything you need.
With the package I chose, Sarah provided a cooked lunch and dinner that were so fresh and tasty!

Had a counter meal. Food was great. I think some of the staff are going through training. They did well.

We were in room 6 and it was huge with a king size bed and a single bed. The bathroom was also very large. The beds were comfortable and everything was really clean.

Absolutely the best. We were checking in late because the ferry from Tasmania was really late, and Iverson organised for us to be able to self check-in.

The apartment was fantastic. Stylish decor, very comfortable, extremely well equipped kitchen. Jenny the manager was very friendly and accommodating. Very good value for money.

I was fortunate to have stumbled across Abode Accomodation in my search for a weekend stay in Bendigo. Jenny, our host, was incredibly helpful and the town-house is just perfect!
