Thommos Pub

Lunch was great. Unexpected in this little country pub.

We stayed 2 nights in a double room at a good price. Really old fashioned hotel and room with nice atmosphere. Great with the balcony outside the room. We got the kind of ghost hotel feeling which was quite cool, not scared though😁
Would definitely come back if we are around.

I went there for a Sunday lunch, saw that they had on the menu salt’n’pepper Calamari — yeah. But unfortunately when the meal arrived I knew straight away it was a frozen packet that they just fried, plus they over fried it. Very disappointed ☹️ paid $22 plus the gravy I ordered on the side was really lumpy ☹️.

Drawn in by the low price of accommodation for the night, we were surprised to find a well maintained hotel with modern amenities. Though we arrived too late in the evening to get dinner, I caught a glimpse of other diners enjoying what appeared to be some very tasty meals with generous portion sizes. The pub had plenty of room and a very nice outdoor courtyard. The room was simple and sparsely appointed, but clean.

We stopped in here as part of a bus trip for a work break up. The pub was nostalgic and stood proud, showing its age and taking you back in time to what it was like many years ago.
I'm not sure what they paid to have this catered, but the hotel put on a good spread, with a big serving and variety of foods.
The staff were good, even having a French couple serving behind the bar. Inquisitive & friendly locals.
Pool table and a out door beer garden/courtyard.
Good experience, located halfway between Warrnambool & Colac and about half that again from Camperdown.
I'd come back for a pint and a feed.

The nicest steak and sticky date pudding I've had in Australia! The steak tasted like beef should, was cooked perfectly and sauce delicious. The sticky date pudding was HUGE! So much sauce, genuinely the nicest we've had!

One of the best nights I have ever had over my 42 years of living. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the food was delicious and the atmosphere so inviting, clean and fun. Woke up with sore stomach muscles from laughing so much. Thank you to everyone for making it a memorable night and we will definitely be back.

Great pub in a neat town. Drinks Cold, Food good and people all fantastic.
Went for a drink and to meet up with some friends on a Wednesday night. The Bar is real country pub with good locals talking and joking around. Had our meal in the lounge and it was really good. Top effort from Tommos.
