Amazing place to stay! staff was beautiful, room was clean and quiet, 10/10.

Amazing suites. So much room and the service is fabulous. Looking forward to coming back when all the renovations are completed.

Spoke with staff and was given the wrong room. Also, no refund of the bond thus far. What other hotels do you know that keep your bond for over 5 days. Old fashioned rooms with unhelpful staff. Disgusting way to run a business.

Rang up and asked specifically for the suite with the large spa bath that had the steps going into it. I explained that’s the room I want, and I will only book it if it’s available. They assured me it was free. I enjoy this room as I like to relax, as it’s the best bath out of the entire rooms.
I arrived to find that we were in a small room with a bath tub, and the view was not good at all. I rang and they moved us to another room which was a little better, but there was a few things about the room that could be fixed. The nice view was taken away as there was so much mould on the roof below, it looked hideous. Ripped curtains. Tv channels didn’t work very well, the price you pay per night, would be good to have some Foxtel channels. I disliked the lack of communication the most. I wasn’t notified of a deposit coming out of my account, or that the payment had been taken right away. I expected to pay, but I still think the customer should be informed with the process. Over all I would have had just the same experience staying in one of there cheaper rooms. Same quality & half the price.
I will not be back any time soon.

Great spot! Nice clean and quiet rooms! Handy to the shops and restaurants and Black Salt looks good to! Our 4 time here and no complaints!

Room was ok but as a single woman I didn't like that people can open your hotel room from outside. (Someone even did! ) Also, when I tried to call reception to ask how to secure the door, the receptionist couldn't hear me so the phone didn't work either. Everything else was comfortable enough and there was ample parking.

Stunning views of bay. Modern rooms and restaurant. Breakfast selection was great. Kevin and staff were very nice so thank you very much for all that you have done looking after our family during our stay.

My partner and I both travel a lot for business so we are used to various 'standard policies'. Was flabbergasted when I talked to him the night he booked into this motel. I had recommended another venue to him but as he was training there for a corporate client so it was more convenient. Take my advice shop around there are some lovely places to stay in Geelong don't go to a place that excuses their rudeness whilst hiding behind invisible policies. It would be a five star rating if only reviewing the training venue and the event staff.

Good for sleep not for cooking. The only thing in the room is a kettle. Beds are fine, bathroom is very good. Good choice of breakfast.

Has been slipping for quite a while now. I've stayed here many times for business. I am looking for somewhere else to stay after the last visit. The rooms are hit and miss. Last stay had what looked like vomit on the front door. Asked for it to be cleaned but job was poor. Unpainted and patched walls In the room looked bad, especially for the price. The two times before that the legs of the tables fell off. Salt restaurant is good and the food is up to scratch. Value is marginal. Breakfast at $29 is outrageous.

Great venue to stay at. Great location with a wonderful view over the Bay from the restaurant and rooms with a bay view. We had an apartment (without a bay view) and it was huge. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Staff were friendly. Meals werent real nice. Room was way to expensive for what you got.

Good safe and clean spot for the price. It was right on the ocean too and I was able to go for a great morning jog along a bike path right on the ocean. I was there for business and would use it again for that reason. I wouldn’t call this a romantic vacation spot but if you’re passing through this is a great place for the price.

Stayed here for work and found the place fairly comfy and the room was clean and tidy. Comfy bed and pillows. Would stay here again. You can have under cover parking in the shade if you’re quick enough. Staff friendly too.

Dinner once again here. A good variety of meal and dessert options with an extensive wine list. Doesn't disappoint and the view over Corio Bay is lovely in the evening ✔

Our stay was fine, room was clean staff were friendly but not really helpfully. My mum who is not as mobile as she use to be was also staying at hotel, she asked to be moved to a ground level room as she didn't think she could manage to stairs each time. They never mentioned that they had a lift. Advertised as right on the beach. But its not a swimming beach. Its location was to far out of town. Heated pool? No it wasnt!

Staff were very helpful. Place was clean and nice n quiet. I rate them down as I booked a queen bed, but in what seems to be an ever growing trend, my queen bed was two conjoined singles. Front desk apologised and upgraded me. Hotels need to stop kidfing themselves that two single mattresses side by side with a gap in the middle, constitutes as a queen.

Nice room. Lovely view. Only negative thing was had girl at counter roll her eyes when talking to supervisor about me paying for extra night after choosing to extend stay.

Nice bay view, excellent large rooms, comfy beds, quite rooms, easy accessibility to town ctr.

Great location for views of the bay and not far from down town… lovely rooms… clean and comfortable.

Coming from Melbourne for an afternoon event, I rang and asked if we could park our car there (expecting 2 pm check in). They said no problems and they could even try to get our room ready by the time we got there. We arrived at midday and seamlessly checked in. All the Reception staff were extremely efficient and friendly. Our room, on the Botton floor was very modern and even had a little court yard (if you smoke or just want to sit outside). Breakfast was cheaper if you booked at check in. Delicious buffet but very busy. I would highly recommend this hotel, it has sensational views of the ocean plus a pool and sauna.

Pleasent rooms. Helpful service. Awesome location. But hotel does not provide complementary water bottles.

We got into our room and it smelt horrible and was very old fashioned. We complained and got a free upgrade for the 2nd night (best thing they did). On the second day we had to check out of the first room by 10 and couldn't get in until 2 for the next. When we checked in later that day they told us our suitcase was in the room. So we went upstairs to find NO suitcase. The next morning we went back into our room at 10:02 to grab the last of our stuff but the keycard wouldn't work. Because it was 10:02 and 'checkout' is 10:00. I think for the money you pay this place isn't worth it.

Nice hotel and great location but room quality is not consistent. Beautiful well appointed room in new building but 2* 1980s motel rooms in a noisy courtyard out the back.

We paid deposit in cash. But they said they also wanted a card put in, just in case. When we checked out and wanted our deposit back, they denied we gave them a cash deposit. When we asked them to check the surveillance footage (they have a camera recording reception), they refused to check it. Really? Not even check? We know the time and date. They arrogantly argued, "we wouldn't do that" (take a cash deposit and not record it). Well. You did, idiot. And you won't even check the evidence. Go to thier Facebook page. Other people had the same problem of their money stolen.

Located directly next to the harbour, the hotels location was perfect for site seeing. Rooms were clean and the staff were very helpful. Would definitely recommend to others visiting Geelong.

I have stayed here twice now for business the accommodation is actually quite good for a budget location. The shower could be better, it is very clean however very little water spray. My only real quam is the food for in room dining. I just paid $30 for a Segment of grilled cauliflower as the only vegetarian option. They have also removed the garden salad from their menu so my dinner was a sad excuse for wasting $30 on behalf of the business. I would understand if Cauliflower Steak was actually creative not just a grilled segment on top on unseasoned puree with a few measily pieces of mint, but it was just that. Crazy… Should have eaten at the airport. Sorry guys, not planning to eat here again.
