It was close to where I needed to be which is why I stayed there. The shower was hot. The sheets were clean. That's the pros. The tissue box had screwed up, stuck together tissues inside it. There's more but that probably says enough.

This motel is like hopping in a time machine and going back to the 1960s. Clean place.

Disgraced by cost verses what you get. Yukkie.

Comfortable bed friendly staff awesome continental breakfast room needs a bit touching up heaters in need of updating.

Never had such a dirty room, if wasn't so late when checked in would have kept driving 6 hours home.

We have been going to the Corio Bay off and on for over 15 years. In the past few years some of the rooms we have stayed in are in need of some work as the don't meet basic standards for a motel. On the other hand the staff and manager were very friendly and the convenient continental breakfast were great attributes for this motel. It is a budget motel.

Stayed a week put down what I wanted paid for the room only to find out when we hot there about hidden costs because they stuffed up on my booking and the free wi fi dont work in alot of rooms have to sit outside to even try to log in.

We took a family room and found it filthy and dull. The Internet and free Wi-Fi was promissed, but found that there is no such thing at all in this Motel. The breakfast was also prmissed but we found very limited types and cheap options, like bread, milk, oats. Overall, not recommending this to anyone.

Genuinely friendly customer service and warm welcome. Room was nice and compact. Decent continental breakfast (toasts, cereals, fruits, juice & coffee) included in the price.

New owners are fixing up some past transgressions… (poor tiling, hole in a door), however I I think their future is bright. Clean and well situated.

What a bad experience Everything so dirty. Not kid friendly. Moreover the guy I spoke to on the phone was too rude. Do not recommend.

It is what is. It's cheap and nothing fancy but it gets the job done.

Wonderful service from Craig, very clean room and comfy bed, breakfast was included in the breakfast room where you could choose from an array of cereals, breads, beverages and more. It is on the main road but it is well protected from the traffic noise.

Never been to this town before, and at approx 4am someone attempted to break into the room!

Staff very obliging room definately not worth 90.00 extra 15.00 for dog sign outside 80.00/ 90.00 we were charged 90.00 Sundays advertised as 80.00 we stayed sunday Bed very hard with electric blanket difficult to sleep on room clean room needs Maintaintance paint off walls very basic room Expect more for the cost.

Clean bathroom, electric blanket, heater and AC. Not enough light in the room (only one on the sealing). Good little free breakfast and free Wi-Fi but not enough signal to watch Netflix or Stan… Worth what you pay for. 10min in car from Avalon airport.

Location was OK, rooms clean, aircon and TV worked great, should have been milk on offer in the room thatsall.

Very clean and affordable. The manager is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended as a budget hotel.

Worst experience ever in an accommodation. There is not a lower score to put otherwise I would have gone for that. On arrival was treated like we are a nuisance and asked to go" look at your text message. " The rooms are old and not maintained. The manager keeps watching you around. Even in breakfast room he seems to get upset if you eat a little bit more than standard! I would prefer to sleep in a car rather than going there.

Never thought it could be so difficult to book a room over the phone let alone get someone to respond to you… had to call 3 times as guy kept hanging up on me and all up just had a really rude and non welcoming attitude. Highly Not recommended in that regard Rooms look good from the photos that I've seen though.

Good value for money. Simple, no frills and basic. Included breakfast — range of cereals, fruit juices, larger TV in breakfast area, 60s kind of decor. Friendly and cherry staff that join you for breakfast. Very quiet inside the room considering how close it is to the man highway. Slept well — air cond works. Bed and pillow comfy.

Terrible accommodation and rude manager. The Internet site promised high speed internet and air con, both did not work. Rooms are so ancient and outdated and the beds are worn out and need replacing. Freezing in cold weather with inadequate blankets and heating. Should be charging $55 a night not $85. When I tried to explain to the manager that I had a terrible sleep because I was so cold while the air con wasn't working and the room did not have enough blankets she interjected mid sentence and stated firmly "You're not gonna get your money back if that's what you're going for" Common person with no hospitality or customer service skills whatsoever. One night was enough in this place.

The motel room was fantastic. The bed was excellent. And the staff were fantastic!
