I loved the location of the hotel, however the rooms were extremely old and need major renovations. They don't lool anything close to the pictures online. The toilets were not functioning to the maximum level, and expect huge spiders on the ceilings. Otherwise, it is great to sleep on the bed. They have a lot of potential to do great.

Cheap… but room had no window, a leaking skylight, communal toilet & bathroom, with laundry piled up outside our door. Hotel of last resort.

It shouldn't be called a hotel, it's just a hostel. It's dirty and worn out.

Good location, a bit worn but reasonably clean. Have to get to rooms through stairs, no lift option. Club downsrairs but quite at night.

LADY'S BE AWARE! Worst pub iv ever been to. The manager objectified and sexually harassed me in a room full of men who all laughed then when I told him not to speak like that to me he looked like he was about to punch me in the face. A young Lady who was just minding my business buying a drink. The bar man who worked there proceeded to tell me the man who abused Me was the boss and the bar staff where completely embarrassed by him. He completely made his own business look ridiculous, sexually harassing young women to feel cool in front on a bunch on men. Would never ever recommend this place to women.

Great good, great service. Steak was cooked perfectly.

Good basic accommodation. Good food.

The staff were just so helpful nothing was a bother for them we had a lot of laughs with the staff room was perfect everything we wanted or needed we are going back very soon. Take my advice if you want somewhere to stay this is the place.

TRC Hotel Launceston — Had to hand over personal details that were handwritten (including credit card information) without any sense of security/privacy — No way to get luggage upstairs. The exit leading to the carpark had very steep stairs and the access keys given didn't allow you to come in through that entrance (only exit) — Bed itself was comfortable, but sheets — no fitted sheet, only a flat that kept coming loose, quilt/doona had no cover on it and was very itchy, one sheet had a hole and stain. — Was told at the time of booking that it was a room with a shared bathroom and that this was to be shared between two rooms. The room we were given had an "ensuite" of a shower (in the room, no separation whatsoever) and a basin in the room. This shower had severe drainage issues and almost spilled over the edge on to the carpet of the room (as again — no separation between the areas, merely a hole in the wall for the shower). This ensuite did not have a toilet, so we had to use the shared bathroom (not specifically complaining as were advised of sharing a bathroom in advance). Discovered a bathroom with separate shower, bath, and toilet which was for Ladies, and the same set up for Gents down the hall, only to realise these shared bathrooms were not to be shared between two rooms butamongst the whole floor.

Sweet pool table and many pokies. Happy hour on Sunday night was my favorite.

Great service at the bar, friendly staff. They have Fox Sports, Keno, Pokies and all that fun as well as gallops. Had a great time while I was there for about 40 minutes with a few mates and a few cold ones.

Nice. Overall good feel with great prices but the patrons were a bit off putting at times. Would go back but not a regular spot to visit.

Cheap quick hotel. The room is just for sleeping if you can. Summer can be very hot with no fan. But that's what you are paying for. It's close to everything. Not the best but it's cheap.

Great meals, great drinks, great staff, not much I can say about the TRC except to recommend it!

Room and kitchen facilities were very clean and staff was quite helpful. Wifi was also free and very fast which was a nice surprise.

Don't let the exterior fool you. Room was spacious and very clean. In a great location as well; couple blocks down is the cbd. Free Wi-Fi. Staff are helpful. Well worth what they are charging. Only thing is there are no lifts. So if you have a lot of luggage, prepare to drag it up the stairs.

I would definitely stay again, a great budget choice and in a fantastic location! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The staff at the pub was welcoming and engaging. The hotel is placed in the rear of the pub, away from the noise and crowd. We stayed in different double bedrooms with ensuite both nights due to separate reservations. Both were airy and very spacious, with extra beds in the room. Comfortable beds, all very clean and pleasant. The bathrooms were large enough, clean and tidy, with good ventilation. It's very close to the Cataracts which are a must-visit, and a short walk into town. The pub seemed a bit noisy but there are other restaurants around catering for different tastes. I would definitely stay here again!
