Clean tidy cabin, friendly staff, nice location have stayed there twice now, will definitely return.

Staff left you to your own devices. Clean amenities.

Very nice park, owner very helpful told us we could have our choice of spots. Clean facilities and cheap.

A truly lovely park. The owners are so friendly and always on hand. Not a Big 4 but better in its own happy way. Would always stay here over the other parks just for the relaxing atmosphere alone. Thank You for our stay and we'll see you on our next visit to Tasmania.

Motel has seen better days. Pretty rundown. Only saving grace is the availability of rooms for larger families.

You can't knock the view for unpowered camp sites — oceanfront, with keys for beach access. The park is cheap and cheerful, but it needs more trees for summer campers, as once it gets busy, the shaded spots go fast. Amenities are basic, the place needs a bit of maintenance work, it is a bit rundown and there are permanent tennants on site. It's definitely one for the backpackers over elite campers. Having said that, people were friendly, the price for unpowered sites was fairly cheap and there's easy access to the main part of town. The site is very close to Spirit of Tasmania, so if you're on the early boat, that's handy.

Great camping sites, vast amount of space and maintained grounds to setup and play. Updated bathrooms, good camping kitchen. Great location to spirt of tasmania only 3 blocks away. Beach only a stones throw away. Staff very organised even for late check-in, also frendly and helpful.

It is really old and needs a lot of work to re new it. Hard to say it is clean. The price was okay. We gardly slept and in tge morning run away, very good location though.

Very well run. Clean, tidy & shady. Camp kitchen needs an update but overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Inexpensive. Clean amenities. Plenty of room for a tent. Only downside is that it is a bit ecposed to the wind and ship horns on the river.

Children and dog friendly plus all friendly. Clean amenities and great position at the mouth of the Mersey River.

It's very close to Spirit of Tasmania and not far away from city centre. Clean and tiny amenities, friendly service. All I can pick just we need a key to amenities XD.

Not a bad caravan park, ablutions are clean and tidy. However some of the spaces are a bit small for larger vans (25ft). Otherwise close to the ferry terminal 5mins, staff very helpful and cheerful.

Cheap sites and cabins, friendly staff, well kept amenities laundry and camp kitchen, close to the beach and shops, nice walks and views. All in all it's the best kept park I've ever stayed in and would be more than happy to spend more time there again.

Stayed several nights in a cabin. Nice location. Nearby playground, walking track, and close to the point where the Spirit of Tasmania enters Bass Straight.

Really convenient if you are catching the boat or just visiting the city.

Great location extremely close to beach and river. Lovely staff exceptionally friendly.

Cabin was poorly kept. Floors dirty, Fly screens missing, broken lounge (that I was told was a sofa bed and it wasn't) lights didn't work, office had no change for washing machines, room had ants the list goes on. I would never stay there again. We paid a premium price but got a sub-par room.

As the first stop for many tourists this place does not give a very good impression of Tasmania. This place is rough, tired, rundown, dirty and unkempt. I would imagine there is a serious amount of money flowing through these doors bit it is certainly not being used to upkeep the facilities. It is hard to tell who is a tourist and who is a local and it seems many people wander in and out as they please. This does not make for a feeling of security. Go elsewhere if you possibly can.

Very friendly staff, powered sites felt reasonably private as it was fairly quiet. Facilities as other people have said are showing some age but are clean and tidy nonetheless.
