Unfortunately was very unhappy with our stay pool was freezing yet told it was heated to 28 degrees, door of the runners to the bathrooms couldn't close the door, 3 high bunks weren't practical at all for kids, bottom one kept slipping onto floor and top one was way to high to roof, nowhere to sit out side unless on the concrete, had 2 nights booked and only stayed one, pet friendly unfortunately all I could smell was animals all through the doonas cabin ect which was not ideal, cancelled our 6 day Christmas holiday also 😢

Enjoying our stay very family friendly very quite love hearing the ocean of a night out son enjoyed the beach and walking around outside pet friendly our dog enjoyed it too everything you need is in the cabin will definitely be staying again if we come to Burnie thank you.

Nice and central for us to explore the north west area of Tasmania. Although the park is a little dated, cabins are clean and well maintained and staff are friendly.

Good for caravans, plenty of space.

Very accommodating and understanding when we ended up stranded in Burnie due to car troubles with our dog. They set us up with a comfortable room on the ocean front and our four legged family was also welcomed without any worries at all. Extremely happy with service and the room and so was our dog. Thank you for making a tough situation so much easy. Definitely reccomend this hotel especially if travelling with pets.

Was not too bad for the price paid, Only downfall was the lack of decent concrete slabs to park on, the amenities were dated and very worn but were clean… not anyone fault but the park is full of wallaby poo scattered everywhere which doesn’t help with no decent concrete slabs and mud everywhere meaning you walk everything in and out of your van.

We stayed at an unpowered site and found the kitchen and bathroom facilities to be well looked after. Park was reasonably priced and staff helpful.

I'd like to rate it higher than 3 but the location and access for caravans isn't good. Google shows the access is from the street behind but its a dead end. Great fun backing a caravan out of a dead end street: not. Once we got into the place we found the facilities to be old and a bit tired. But clean and functional though. Sites are not very level. The outlook is nice and the pine trees at the rear makes for a nice setting.

This stay at Burnie Ocean View Motel has made our vidi to Tasmania. Excellent accommodation, staff very professional and and happy to assist any personal enquiries you may have. Ideally situated across the road from the sea.

Stayed for a week as a base to explore the south west coast. It's a bit dated but very clean. Although it is a very tight park we had no problems with our 23ft van. Wi-Fi has a 2gb 7 day limit but it was pretty good. The beach is a no dog zone! Overall a pretty good stay :)

Lovely place to take the family. The staff were very helpful and the rooms are reasonably priced.

Hot showers, grassy sites, near the water. Needs more trees for shelter. Good base for exploring the region for a couple of days.

It is a great place management are so friendly, accommodation was really good and clean would recommend them to anyone.

Pretty nice place, lots of wallabies about, but has a kitchen, laundry, and heated pool and allows pets, powered and none powered sites.

Peter was very friendly. Great value. Clean and tidy rooms. Even free DVD rental! Definitely recommend.

Handy for using as a base for touring as it is central to many sites of interest & also a selection of shops are not far away. Rooms are clean & well stocked with the basics. Although a little dated it is comfortable. The owners are friendly & not phased by a last minute request for a room when they were expecting a large group. We can definitely recommend this place & will be booking here on our next holiday.

What a great place to stay every thing you need is in the cabin, it was clean, and great service. I will definitely stay again if I need to go to burnie again.

My fiance and I had an amazing stay over the weekend. Such a beautiful place, beautiful cabins and the best thing yet. Pet friendly! It was important to us to have our fur baby with us and we really appreciate it! 5*, will be back (:

Lovely staff, great location across the road from the beach with spectacular sunsets. Park has beautiful surrounds and even tho the amenities block is outdated still ok. They need to fix one dryer.

We booked for 3 nights on an unpowered sight we have now extended to 9 nights as it is a nice friendly and relaxing sight that is convenient to use as a base for surrounding sights.

The room we stayed in was much better equipped than I expected, was very clean and tidy, and rather generous in size. The beach is directly across the road and the place also has a heated indoor pool and BBQ facilities. Will definitely stay here again if in the area.

Fairly inexpensive accomodation. Nice rooms and lovely staff.

Nice little caravan park. The ocean and beach is just across the highway. Sites are all graded and flat. The kids favourite part was the indoor swimming pool.

My Partner and I stayed here on two occasions the first time we were in a campervan when we cam over to Tasmania for a scouting trip. The second time was when we came over to look for a house. This time we stayed in a cabin. The cabin was clean and well maintained, although in needed of a bit of TLC it suited as perfectly and we were charged a reasonable price for a week. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and went out of their way to help us with a variety of things to name just a few printing documents and receiving mail when we needed it. To our surprise we even got a service clean once a week even though we stayed for 2+ months. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants a short or long stay. Thank you Peter and Julie.

Great place to stay for a night clean and very affordable. Great to see the Penguins all you have to do is go across the road! Swimming pool nice. There is new management and amazingly kind staff! Easy to get around. May look dated from street view but cabins were refurbished and up to date and new manegment up to date of what people want! Definitely 5 star service and of course highly recommended!

Worst stop in Tasmania. Backpacker room is in a bad shape. Not clean and very bad matras. Smelly and not good showers. : — (.

Stayed in a park cabin. $92. Our worst tasmanian stay over two weeks. Could have found a better mattress on the side of the road. Very old with springs that stick into you. Watched TV for most of night to avoid it. Cabin was in very poor condition inside, ie water damage, peeling melamine. I now ask to see cabin before booking in. Stayed in some fantastic cabins/b+b for same price.
