Stayed on a travel auctions for three nights and first night had the scotch with bacon and creamy prawns. Delicious 👍🏻 will have to go back tonight. Excellent service and good value for money.

My Mum, my 2 boys and myself had lunch here today. Garlic prawns were the best I think I've ever had. Very garlicky and the pan fry on the prawns added an extra level of flavour. My 16 year old couldn't even finish the S&P squid lunch special it was that big. Fantastic meal, great price, lovely place.

Delicious Vegan options. Had the burger tonight and couldn’t fault it. Delivery was great.

We come from the city and stay in Wallaroo for a week. Been up here 3 times and we love the food it's absolutely delicious and the staff are fantastic. We definitely will be back.

Stayed a week, tried this hotel first for meals with hubby and friends. Meals top quality, service friendly, came back each night. Was sooo good and fast service.

Good steak. But the beds are lick sleeping on a bricks. Not happy.

Quite, clean accommodation and affordable meals.

$90 rooms ok for an overnight visit. No plates or cutlery even though there is a toaster. Door lock stuck luckily had a back door to get out. No phone in room. No discount for Veterans or Pensioners. If staying 1 night would stay again more would either inspect more expensive rooms or go elsewhere. Basic TV country channels no Foxtel or the like.

Average looking establishment but it's well patronised. Lots of motel units. Nice communal lawned area in the middle with BBQ facilities and seating. Restaurant on premises. Salad bar. Small pokie room with self serve coffee. Drive thru bottle shop. Dodgy toilets.

This place is run by crazy staff but at the end of the day they are a good bunch The venue needs a face lift good food.

The hotel is conveniently located, close to the shopping prescint, the Wallaroo museum and the coast. The check-in was straightfoward. The guy at reception was friendly and helpful with a couple of directions we needed. Every room has its own parking spot. The room was clean and tidy. The kitchen area had some mugs, coffee, tea and sugars, a kettle and a few milk portions in the fridge. The toilet was clean as well as the towels provided. We spent two nights and the room got serviced on day two, which was great. I would use this accommodation again.

Booked for 3 nights but left after 2. Floor absolutely filthy, no cutlery or plates to enable use of toaster supplied, no spoon to stir coffee. No ventilation except for air conditioning. Parking would have been OK if we had 4WD to choose which pot holes to use, outside concrete path hazardous. The so called 'garden' had 5 wonky tables and a total of 4 dodgy looking chairs. We tried the Bistro but after being given a menu we waited 20 minutes to order meal or drink but left to go elsewhere. Bathroom was the best thing — nicely tiled up to ceiling, so hopefully renovations in progress. Don't think we will return.

Great place for a coldy or a relatively cheap feed.

When ordering fish portions were very minimal in relation to price and took an unnecessary amount or time to arrive. When ordering a steak the wrong meal was delivered. Menu was extremely lacking in vegetarian options in fact could not find one vegetable in the menu. Have been coming here for over 10 years and unfortunately have been extremely let down and will not be returning.

The Anglers Inn has changed a lot over the years, and personally I feel it is at its peak right now. With a Sunday carvery and daily lunch specials, the Anglers has a meal for every day. Great for family gatherings, birthdays, and other functions — along with a kids entertainment room so the parents can enjoy lunch in silence!

Cheap drinks, great staff.

On my last stay in September, the beer garden was being redeveloped — making it more relaxing for the coming summer months. An easy place to stay in for a short break.

Definitely one of the better pubs here. Having said that, all the pubs here are pretty good.

Nice, cosy, well priced hotel.

Couldn't open the door to get into room and couldn't get out either. Dirty room, dust and dirt on the sockets, in the the drawers. Stains on the linen. Given 1 star, but really this is 0 out of 5! Don't stay here.

Food was fantastic and so was the service. Ordered off of the $12 lunch special… the scotch fillet steak burger and chicken schnitzel with panko crumb were awesome. Lovely area for kids to play. Highly recommend a visit.

Nice quiet place. Older style motel but very comfortable and great price.

Slow welcome but it was just opened, and kids were well catered for with the kids corner room. In general chips and Salt Pepper Squid left a lot to be desired. But Surf and Turf, Garfish, Chicken Schnitzel, veg and salad bar were spot on. Especially kids fish and chips, (with ice cream for dessert) for $9 was outstanding value and they said best fish ever! We will definitely return!

Excellent meal great stuff, always is.

Room was clean. Parking was easy. Staff were friendly. Food was great (go for the salt &pepper squid). Friday night happy hour $5 pints of Cooper's Pale. And I'm loving that room price!
