Very accommodating! Arrived late due to caravan issues. Ensuite powered sites are great and very clean.

We love the friendly staff, and the views over the lake from our site. Great amenities and things to do in he park and around the town.

Love coming here always so relaxing. The people are friendly and the facilities are fantastic.

We had a very relaxing time. Every staff member we spoke to was pleasant and very helpful. Thank you for making our experience a good one.

Absolutely beautiful park, well set out with spotless amenities. Our only negative was the girl in the office when checking in. For the first time ever we were handed an envelope and told everything we needed was in it. We asked what site we were on, reply was “it’s in the envelope”, we asked about the gate, reply was “it’s in the envelope”. We found her extremely unhelpful and to be honest was in complete shock as we usually select Discovery parks over any other as customer service is generally always good. We then went to our site which was totally unacceptable with trees in the middle and on a slope with very soft sand. Our van is large and high and would not have been able to get our awning out with the position of the tree. The park was empty, we should have been allocated better sites to suit our van size which we ended up on. We had a lovely stay just disappointed with the service.

Loved the park’s location and facilities however the cleaning of the pools (the tiles were slimey and brown they never vacuumed the bottom of the pools) and the toilets and showers were never cleaned in the 8 days we were there. They attempted to clean the tiles but didn’t remove all the brown dirt. You also turned off the splash park on one of the hottest days of the week (40 degrees) at 6pm and it was New Years Eve which was disappointing. There was also no activities available on New Years for kids. When you are paying top dollar for the park you expect the basic things to be done.

Lake Bonney discovery park was amazing. Staff were accommodating and very helpful with my booking well before arriving and at Checkout. Will be going back again for sure.

Awesome lake with a great sandy bottom. Caravan park it’s fantastic and definitely has top class ammenities. Good for dogs and young children and have everything you need and expect at a great price.

Do not recommend. Very rude staff, don’t know what they’re doing. Not family friendly at all. Stuffed my booking up and was left with no accommodation. On arrival they were not helpful at all did not specify van park. Verbally abused my dad for “not parking in the right spot” and then got told leave.

Had a brilliant weekend there, nice clean cabins and friendly staff, grandkids loved all the activities, highly recommend.

Was only going to stay one night in our camper but decided to stay and extra night. Staff very accommodating and quick to help with any issues great people, my son loved the water park, playground, jumping pillow and hire karts. We will definitely be back thank you for a great getaway.

I unfortunately had a fall and broke my hip on day 2. The staff were great checking in on my husband and how I was. I ended up in Berri Hosp for 2 days b4 flying out to Adelaide. The staff at hosp were fantastic also.

Very family friendly park. Facilities are excellent for the children with pools and a fabulous water park. Water fun on the lake is also fantastic.

Drive though van spot brilliant park well laid out nice and quite.

Great park, friendly staff and very good amenities. Very quiet at this time of year which suits us. Glorious sunsets and a short walk to cafe/bakery and club for meal.

Sadly cant reccomend from my experience and our family stayed in two separate deluxe cabins. Our cabins was extreamly filthy. Left over food in the cupboards unwashed glasses and plates in cupboards, soap scum build up in shower nook where soap is left, ashtrays filled up with cigarettes and other peoples rubbish such as bandaids. Unfortunately not one but two cabins were like this. Even after showing photos were only just replaced with a brand new kettle as a baby required bottles. For newly built cabins they were disgusting.

Had a wonderful time at Lake Bonney Discovery Park. Beautiful view of the lake. Great facilities, so much for the kids to do. Friendly staff. Really enjoyable stay, we’ll be back. Thanks!

Lovely little spot in SA that we have never been to before. Camped pretty much on the banks of the lake. Facilities available that we used were in great condition and worked perfectly. Didnt use everything as only here for a short stay. Ian was really friendly and helpful. Will be staying here again.

Hadn't been to Barmera for near on 20 years and boy has it changed. The park has everything a family or couple need, fresh, clean and right on the beautiful Lake Bonney. We stayed in the economy cabins and it was tidy, clean and cosy and well worth the price. Well done to Ian and the team, it really is well worth the stay and we will be back real soon. The only negative was the lack of fish in both the lake & river but according to my son that has more to do with the (so called) fisherman rather than anything else!

Good caravan park with a good range of different cabins available. Great views over the lake especially at sunset. Lots of options for kids with playground, waterpark, pool, air pillow. Good customer service at reception. Not alot of nearby food options. The Lakes Cafe was probably the best for breakfast and lunch.

A really great park, relaxed and large enough to have space around you. Lake Bonney is lovely to have on your doorstep.

Stayed here a couple times, camping. Great shower/toilets. Clean and hot water! New water park is amazing! Kids lining up for the gate to open, haha. Love the movies nights for the kids! Thanks. Can hire out bikes for kids but a bit pricey. School holidays = lots of kids with their own bikes riding around. Can still be noisy after dark or early morning and careful driving around with so many kids. Some grassy areas to camp but are a few dirt camp sites. Grounds are clean, staff are lovely. Dog friendly park.

So many things to do here, water park, jumping pillow, playground, pool, biking, canoeing and so much more. Great family holiday spot. Not as grassy as pictures show but they were watering it in an attempt to fix it. The particular spots we camped in were full dirt/sand no grass to be seen.

The Park itself was amazing, the view, the waterpark and pool. The cabin we stayed in wasn't so great, we stayed in a standard cabin so we weren't expecting anything amazing. We got there and the view from our porch was of the dump point. The place had a smell to it. The linen was clean and high quality. The overall cleanliness of the place was average there was dust in most places, including on the ceiling fans and vents on the ceiling. The kitchen wear was a bit dirty with some food stains here and there. The A/C had a burning smell to it and I later found it it looked like it had never been cleaned and was just burning dust (pictured below). Overall a good week away with great places to see but the cabin was pretty average.

Very nice and new cabin. Great facilities and location with views of the lake. Plenty of things to keep children amused and an under cover barbecue area with fridge, couch, TV and lighting. BYO food, drinks and chef.

Stayed here for a couple of nights in March. Facilities are mostly pretty good, with excellent new cabins (some of the best we've stayed in). While the park has a good range of facilities, it's lacking some attention to detail that holds it back from being a truly great caravan park. * Shade and seating around the pool and waterpark areas are inadequate * Rubbish points over the park are poorly spread, with some area having plenty bins, whiles others (particularly in the caravan area) seem to have none. * Waterpark opening well after the advertised time (not until 10am)

Our three young grandchildren had an absolute blast at the fabulous new Splash Park here today. We highly recommend it!

Came in to visit family staying and noticed how family friendly the park is with a waterpark playground, sand front on the lake, brand new cabins, equipmemt out on the lake and well kept grounds.

I love Lake Bonney. I have been here like… 4 times and it's the best. Lovely water park for kids and a pool for everyone. BBQ's and go carts. Publish toilets and good service, there is a great view of the lake. You can swim in the lake and there is a big blow up trampoline aswell. I love this place!

My stay at lake Bonney so far has been great there is lots to do here including a water park And a pool, Apple bikes, a lake And many amenities.

Nice park with an awesome water park and jumping pillow. The aqua trampoline is also a lot of fun. Great park for travelling with kids. Amenities clean and up to date. Heaps of fish jumping on the lake early in the morning. Note that some fridges in BBQ areas are not for use.

Stayed here for five nights in a six person standard cottage. These cottages are built with besser blocks which meant that they stayed relatively cool during the 40 degrees plus days. That was the first good thing. I've stayed here a few times now and don't really have any complaints. They have added a new water park which kids absolutely love. They have an in ground pool, massive jumping pillow, outdoor cinema, communal BBQ areas, inflatable pontoons, hire gear such as kayaks, water bikes and various other things. Every thing was well maintained and clean. I'd definitely recommend this place. Great for families with kids of all ages. Book yourself a holiday there now!

Excellent facilities and reasonable pricing. Great for kids. Some public showers might look old but perform great.

Great Park. Love the water park and the lake. The cabin we stayed at had poor aircon and cost 20 bucks more than the one further away and air that worked. The kettle was full of ants. Otherwise ok for what you pay for.

We stayed in the brand new deluxe 5 star cabins & this was just gorgeous. All of the modern amenities that you would expect at a hotel & the newly built water park was a big hit for the kids! It's great to have both water activities (pool & lake) to cater for families & an outdoor cinema at night. Security monitors the park at night for added safety & the view from your balcony in the morning is just bliss! Discovery parks do a fabulous job with their marketing & branding, infact there can be alot of disappointment with previous holiday parks that don't live up to their promotion expectations, but Lake Bonney surely did. The kids are already asking to return in 2018, so it looks like will see you in 12 months. A scooter park is suggested by my 7 year old for 2018! Well done Discovery Parks.

Very busy as to be expected. Ideal location not much space between sites. Park defiantly needs more bins maybe at random spots around park rather than big bins located near amenities.

Water park and water trampolines are awesone. Great facilities and well kept.

Great place to stay for a holiday. Rooms are cozy, clean and pleasant for a few people all the way up to a family. Would definitely recommend. Only reason why it isn't a five is because the cutlery and pans weren't properly cleaned.

Kids were looking forward to the giant bouncy pillow, but it's gone, to be replaced by a new water park now under construction.

So much improvements! Heaps of new equipment for kids, water park, paddleboats etc. Lots for families to keep the kids entertained and plenty of activities for big kids too! Facilities good and all round a great family park and quiet enough to sit back and relax and enjoy the scenery. Lake Bonney itself looks amazing and clean and a welcome return to the healthy ecosystem of the past.

This park has so much going for it. Gorgeous setting on Lake Bonney. Nice big sites but some are not level. Amenities are clean and showers are ok. I think it just needs a bit of TLC to be an excellent park.

We stayed in their new Villas and have to say I was so impressed with the villa as well as the park and facilities. I travel for work and found the bed to be one of the most comfortable, ive ever slept in. Linen was high end and the bathroom was schmick with an amazing water pressure. It was a delight to stay there and the views of the water from dawn to dusk were awesome. Friendly Family atmosphere and something for all. :-) Would definitely recommend.

Great, family friendly park. During the Easter break there were activities organised for the kids and movies were played at night on a big screen. There is a clean swimming pool and one of those large jumping pillows.

Great park for kids with lots to do. The pontoons, pool, bikes, bounce pillow and equipment hire are superb.
Amenities are great. Improvements have been made over the years we have been coming.
More grass on the remium sites required along with waste water removal from sites.
Apart from that all is good.
Definately will keep coming.

Loved the view and pleasant happy staff. Whilst staying here I fell out of the van with no memory of the accident staff only too happy to acvomadate us in extra nights stays awaiting medical reviews so we could contonue on our trip around oz. Will be back next round trip for sure.

Great views even from our cabins that were quite some way from the lake. Lots of grassed areas for caravans and campers, as well as open grassed spaces for kids. Has a new playground and jumping pillow, as well as some water trampolines. The cabin is a little dated but you can't flaw the cleanliness or the improvements that have been made.

Red sand camp areas, no grass. Kids running rampant through all camp areas hitting cars and tents and shouting. Late night illegal fire crackers let off, takes 11 attempts to get through to reception "emergency phone line" Worst caravan park ever.

Springs in my mattress were sticking out, ants all through the cabin on arrival and air con hardly worked. A lot of things need to be upgraded here! Lake was beautiful though.

Lovely view of the lake and nice camp kitchen. The tent sites are smallish — will fit a small tent and a vehicle and not much else.
