OMG please come here to eat! We had such a lovely warm welcome… The food was nothing short of sensational. So much of it was homemade even the sauces. Such a tasty tasty meal — I ordered the chicken Yiros — just delicious and the tzazkiti was homemade with a lovely texture. Best yiros Ive had in agesss. Hubby had the Meat over chips — chips were incredible so crisp and the meal was very large We were so impressed we had coffee and cake after. After eating at the pub the day before and being utterly disappointed we thought we would try here. Not only half the price but leaps and bounds ahead in freshness and taste! Highly recommend — 5 stars.

Came here during our holiday to Lake Bonney a few weeks ago. Staff were so lovely and their food was AMAZING! Can't wait to come back when we have our next trip.

Had fish & chips and AB pack we were both full couldn't finish it all… good size & food really nice!

. Huge spider nest funneled into the hole in the cornice in ceiling where the curtain was broken. I moved my bed to the middle of the room. The mattresses sunk and im awake at this hour sore. Tried to wash my face but cant get hot water. There are a few of us but only 1x flannel and no handtowls but a guess we could of asked for more. A toaster but no plates. Got home at dark and no porch lite working. Being winter its cold but bath window jammed open. Fridge in wardrobe that hits the door on everytime you try and sqeeze it open. Oh and take room spray if in our room cause the exust fam dosnt work lol. A little maintanance and extra attention would help. On the up side it did give us a giggle each time we discovered something else. Veiws are lovely overlooking the lake and the town itself is one of the bestkept ive come across. Ok update. Had to hold the shower head up while showering. But nice hot water.

Nice and clean. Comfortable. Some harsh unwelcoming policies but acceptable accommodation.

Stayed here for a week. Staff very helpful and friendly. Motel is very old and needs a lot of maintenance. Heater did not work properly, only half of the electric blanket worked, shower floor tile loose and leaks into bathroom, shower head leaks, very hard to get constant hot water in shower, lights above bed do not work, room very dusty especially under the bed and in the cupboards, glass door and screen door very hard to open and very noisy for other guests. House keeping was minimal during our stay. Restaurant was closed so ate at great places in town. Great views but this is all that is going for this place. We had stayed in a number of motels on our way to Barmera and they were far better and a lot better value.

Tha room was really dusty… Our hitter was not working. We call tha office nobody didn't received tha phone. We send sms in voice mail… But nobody didn't call back. Their bed and floor everything was vary dusty. Best worthy motel in my life.

Stayed for 7 nights paid $135pn organised it over 1 year ago. Very surprised when people booked in today for $89pn! Seriously needs updating and a good clean. Very disappointed.

Great views and friendly staff but the room desperately needs an upgrade. I found it to be dusty and had cobwebs but the thing that annoyed me the most was the fact we where woken at 8.30 on a Sunday morning by someone mowing the lawns and using a leaf blower these things are best left until guests have checked out lastly the information said free Wi-Fi but you have to pay for it.

Good rooms and service, great lake front view and access, undercover vehicle parking, pool, away from main traffic areas, dining area.

Was a nice cozy little cabin but the fridge and air conditioner was not the best.

This place has fantastic views and is right on the lake and whilst the rooms are clean and tidy they are a little bit dated.

Enjoyable stay, beautiful views from the room, quiet location close to Lake Bonney. Fishing could be better… no shade on lake shore.

The rooms were pretty good but the fact they you have to go to reception to get cutlery or plates was a bit of a problem, especially when there quite often isn't someone in the office. The same was true when checking out.

Cabins in great condition, was a pleasant stay.

Be aware that security is at a minimum and that the owner's insurance does not cover personal belongings. We and the room next door got broken into while we were out to dinner. The motel's emergency phone was unattended. The owner didn't even bother to contact us when he found out the next day that guests of his had been burgled. No compensation, no apology. Never again will we stay there.

Arrived at 1.30pm to check in, reception was unattended so we had to ring the bell. We waited. When the door finally opened, there wasn't even a hello, very unfriendly. Room was okay but very outdated; holes in curtains which couldn't be opened fully to allow light in or views as there was no 2nd curtain (lace) for the extra privacy (windows did have tinting) ; a/c was extremely noisy making it hard to sleep through the night; Wi-Fi wasn't free as advertised; on check out reception was unattended (not surprised) and we never got an answer from ringing the bell. Others were also there waiting. Poor customer service. The only plus's to the stay was the location the views and walking distance to the yummy Bonney View (bakery). We will never stay there again and will be selecting a different place to stay when we return to Barmera next time.

April a quiet time. Weather was good the lake amazing lots to see.

Quite outdated (separate taps, trickling shower, worn out furniture) and not very clean (years of toothpaste and grime on said taps, sink and floor). One of my colleagues said her mattress felt as if it was pulled out of garbage — raggedy andcl worn out. Wifi is not free. The only plus of this place is the view from lake-facing rooms. Would consider staying again only after full renovation and proper free Wifi :)

Good outlook but don't book rooms 1-3

Furniture is old and weary. Carpet and lounge was stained. Linen was old.

Good motel with a great location. Rooms all have a view of the lakeside and lake itself.

Stayed on a long weekend therefore charged top rate of over $140. Price about $20 too much per night for peak period. Room was fine and walls were thick so didn't hear too much from other rooms however the airconditioner is noisy and continues to kick in and out (thermostat controlled). Very difficult to sleep at night, so difficult we cut our holiday short and left in the middle of the night and went home. Very disappointed. Will make sure in future we only stay in hotels that have quiet split systems to ensure a good nights sleep.

Not what we expected, charged more than quoted on the phone. No views, no sink to wash dishes only plastic bucket, no fire alarm of which I'm sure is illegal in all states of Australia. If you ate going to stay here get the 5 star Family house. (We have stayed in this one before and were very happy) The pool area is nice and the facilities are good. Staff on duty while we were freindly.
