A fantastic experience on the food and wine pairing night which was totally amazing the wine of the night was the Chardonnay shark tooth was some of the best wine I have ever drunk as a winemaker and one producer myself attending a night of Truly elegance and to have the right staff to a complement the food and wine service with a huge thumbs up on two beautiful girls Alicia and hope that actually made the night and my coming to the restaurant and experience of a lifetime regards graniteroseestate. Com.

We have enjoyed a wine tasting flight, best $39 each spent ever! It’s a must do.

Food is overpriced for the quality. 7 pieces of pasta for $35? They sell it as fine dining yet they have a motel attached to their restaurant. Fine dining prices and serving sizes, pub quality. Staff were absolutely great, couldn't do enough for you.

Sadly the room smells like it's had 500g of carpet fresh poured over it so basically a toilet…, … Not a nice place to go… Indifferent staff…

Tonight I have surprised Mrs Foodie with a sneaky night away and a delicious dinner. Kingfish carpaccio, porterhouse, and 2 amazing deserts — tiramisu and cannoli. Everything was amazing and I would recommend trying this place if you've always said to yourself "we should go there" like we have many times Do it! — at Serafino Wines.

Massive thanks to Marty! I’ve never been big on red’s but I’ve now been converted with Marty’s help. He was extremely attentive and informative which we were grateful for. He made the wine tasting experience memorable and very enjoyable. We’ll be definitely back!

We stayed one night as we had a wedding to attend, my husband uses a wheel chair and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We requested early check in to give him time together ready for the wedding and late check out the next morning Everything was done at no extra cost and even though we did not book it, we were given the wheelchair access room Just perfect Will definitely be going back, thanks heaps to Georgia on reception and the entire crew Regards Brownie and Kate Room 14.16 jan 2022

Terrible service, rude management. We just had the most terrible experience and we were treated in the worst way. We came for lunch, but The restaurant is closed. We were told by a staff member grab something in town and come back and sit in the balcony, order some wine and enjoy the view. We went to grab a pizza at Carmel’s, ordered wine and sat down outside, both the lady owner with a fake smile and the bar manager came to kick us out calling it a “misunderstanding”. Our 5 year old was just biting a piece of pizza. No way to treat customers, no way to treat a family, and no way to treat tourism. Train your staff better, our train yourselves better in customer service. We just came to try your wine, look at the facilities for a possible event reservation…turns out you just gave us the most bitter experience to welcome 2022. I don’t recommend, and I am sad that you forgot what creating memories in visitors is really about.

We visited the restaurant for dinner with some close friends to celebrate a personal milestone on Saturday evening 11th Sept 2021. The place was beautifully decorated and the staff were attentive even though the place was booked out. We were given exceptional quality service and recommendations on the wine and food choices, which were spot on. The staff were prompt with our drinks order and the food was beautifully cooked and presented. Our mains were delicious but the star of the show was definitely the desserts. Our table had the biancomangiare and tiramisu to share and it was divine. Many thanks to the waitstaff on the evening who showed their passion and pride for their work. There was a minor hiccup during the evening which was handled extremely professionally and promptly by the manager which is a commendation to the team. Kudos to the team working that evening. We will definitely be back for more special occasions.

It Will always be a special place for me… after a fantastic dinner in the restaurant, we enjoyed port by the outside fire accompanied with live music… David proposed, and I said YES.

The food was lovely and the service was above and beyond. I didn’t ask our waiters name unfortunately but he was extremely knowledgable about the wines, attentive and welcoming. We will be coming back for a wine tasting at the cellar door.

The sparkling wine was not cold, very small servings and the service was poor for a restaurant of this quality. We think they were having staff issues as late opening and our waitress was not attentive and clear our sides before we had finished even after we told her we had not finished.

A magnificent venue overlooking the lake surrounded by wonderful picnic grounds. The menu offers ample variety capitalising on locally sourced fresh produce. The menu is predominantly Italian inspired with French influences. The talented and charming Head Chef Alberto Occhipinti has earned this restaurant two hats, two years in a row. We thoroughly enjoyed all dishes in the pasta section and the variety of meats and fish including the sword fish, and kangaroo cooked to perfection. The tiramisu was a delight a deconstructed version which had everyone talking, not to mention the lemon tart and of course the ricotta cannoli with pistachio. The selection of Serafino wines continue to impress including the many Italian varieties that we enjoyed, perfect for the menu. Congratulations to all staff who were very attentive and accommodating all afternoon. Without hesitation Serafino Wines restaurant is Highly recommended. We will be back for the change of menu later in March.

We just got an amazing dinner delivered by a lovely man in a bow tie.
Steak was melt in the mouth and all meals were delicious. Even the salad was nice as was the home made bread, still warm.

Had dinner here tonight with the pop up menu and the staff were amazing!
Professional, friendly, knowledgeable, cared about what they were doing, had pride in their jobs and not one of them turned their backs when our 11 year old son was talking their ears off. Thankyou guys, we’ll definitely be back and look forward to the restaurant reopening (special thanks to the gentlemen who took us on a tour) x.

We have dined here many of times and can never fault the service, food or wine. Alway had an 11/10 experience.

Came up for a girls trip and stumbled upon serafino wines looking for a good bottle. Tried their goose island Moscato and it is delicious! So much we went back the next day to buy another bottle. Or two. Kristy was very welcoming and friendly, made us feel right at home. Will be back regularly to purchase wine.

We stayed in the accommodation here. It was lovely. The dinner was amazing. Our server was so friendly and attentive — especially with our 4 year old grandson. It was not inexpensive but the attention to detail made it so worthwhile. We were delighted with the extras provided by the chef throughout the evening. Also, the freshness of the produce which was either grown on the premises or sourced locally.

Stayed 2 nights, loved the accommodation, relaxing peaceful setting, wished it was longer. Food was insanely delicious, staff were genuine and incredibly friendly. Wines were outstanding. Thank-you, we will be back for a longer stay! 5 stars from us.

As ever, a beautiful setting (a glorious winters day) with great wine and amazing high quality food! Staff attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back many more times that’s for sure.

From the moment we arrived the warmth and hospitality of all staff was amazing. Ben led us on a very interesting and enjoyable tour of the winery. Kristie looked after us so well at Cellar door. The food throughout was fantastic — innovative and delicious. The accommodation was very comfortable. Add to that the spectacular helicopter flight by Helivista Tours! A totally enjoyable experience.

My partner and I had dinner for our anniversary here last night and were made to feel very special, it was a lovely atmosphere, very chilled with good music, the staff were so friendly, we were so happy with the unexpected extra entree bought out by the chef at the beginning — the kingfish was amazing, I also really loved the Scallops and the gnocchi. We loved the Merlot wine too. Definitely recommend!

We had a 7 course degustation earlier this week. What an amazing experience! The chefs and front of house staff are so good at what they do and have a passion for it. It really shows! I give it 11.5/10 ✔

Way above expectation. Rooms clean, friendly staff and amazing food. Couldn't fault.

Rooms are really large. Pool is great but too cold in winter sadly. Stuff at reception was great. Bath is used too much and should be renovated. Its bit expensive but allright. Has nice lawn areas with a lot birds especially parrots. The restaurant is not good.

We booked lunch here after it was recommended by staff at a winery in the Barossa. We were incredibly grateful for the tip, as everything about the food we ordered was spectacular. Seriously. We couldn’t fault anything. We had three courses and each was amazing. Definitely worth adding Serafino to your ‘to-do’ list if you’re visiting the McLaren Vale area.

Seriously the most unorganised winery for the Sea and Vines. Massive line up for both wines and only 4 toilets for men and women. On top of that they had the dam SAPOL waiting to arrest anyone that step out of line. Very disappointing for this place, we won’t be returning anytime soon.

We had our wedding at Serafino on 23rd March and it was just the perfect day! Gabby was so helpful and thoughtful to bring all of our ideas to life. The venue was beautiful and all of our guests had a fabulous time. We especially loved that we were able to do something a bit different and get married in the paddock — the most beautiful backdrop with the vineyards behind us. Just the perfect day!

Rooms are nice but a bit dated. Spa was really good. Lots of space for kids out on the lawn. Location is close to town and. Heaps of things to do near by such as bike track, cafes and.

My husband and I just got married at Serafino and it far exceeded our expectations! Gabby and the rest of the staff were so helpful from the first enquiry all the way through and they were all so tentative on the day I didn't have to worry about a thing (besides the weather which turned out beautifully)! Our guests have been raving about the venue and food ever since! Thank you so much for making our wedding day so perfect! We certainly have lifelong memories and will be back for sure!

Basic accommodation is covered. Pool available but don't think 'resort'. One table and umbrella at pool servicing 30+ rooms. No outdoor seating to take advantage of garden space adjacent to rooms. Could not get a sandwich or any food at 5pm. Think basics ok.

Beautiful location overlooking peaceful lake with geese wandering about. We visited cellar door and tasted fabulous wines served by very pleasant staff, very informative. Also had opportunity to enjoy lunch in the restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and generous serving. Best Barramundi I have ever tasted teamed with Sharktooth Chardonnay. Couldn’t have asked for a more fabulous experience and a memorable day. Well worth a visit to Serafino Winery.

Went to "feasts and beats" event. Wish the beats were more relaxed but the acoustic guitar player did a good job. Had a good variety of food trucks and activities for kids. A pretty relaxed environment all together.

It is a really really good place to get married we stayed in the hotel overnight it was really clean and the bed was amazing! I would highly recommend this place.

Lovely open place to stay although it was odd that the entire grounds had no where to sit and enjoy the ambience This includes the front verandah of the units where there were no outdoor tables and chairs I also thought the milk and biscuits should be replenished each day and bowls and cutlery supplied. We had cheese and wine with us but no knives or seats for enjoying outside the room It was a good stay and motel style room was clean.

A great weekend. Beautiful grounds. A convenient walking trail adjacent to the grounds. Dinner was excellent. Baramundi and venison were cooked perfectly. The servings were very generous. Great service. The staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating. Read some negative reviews regarding the rooms. Not sure why. They are lovely! So comfortable! Generous in size. Beautiful bathroom. Quiet air conditioner. Comfortable bed. Very reasonably priced. Clearly some people are just too difficult to please. We will definitely be back and definitely be making recommendations to our family and friends. Thankyou to everyone at Serafinos.

Great place to get away for a reasonable price. Centrally located in the McLaren Vale region, the scenic establishment is very close to other vineyards close-by. The breakfast that was offered for an extra $30/night wasn't quite worth the value as it was just cereals, fruits, breads, and tea/coffee. Having said that, I suspect that it was due to the stay being over Xmas night — Boxing day morning and their full staff not being rostered on… Well, I'm at least hoping so. Great that there's also a swimming pool if you stay there over the warm period. Definitely will be going back some time soon again.

Excellent We had our sons wedding venue here 6-8-2016 Food amazing, views beautiful, lovely rooms & fantastic staff who will do everything they can to help you Wedding coordinator was great too Well done serafinas we will definitely come back here one day absolutely loved it — well done.
