Great time and friendly service.

Not that impressed and doubt I will be back. No acknowledgement of name at checkin. For me it’s the little things that make you feel welcome. Standard welcome drink. There is no welcome gift In the room. There is two of us staying here for work one diamond one platinum. My platinum coworker did get an upgrade. I did not as when I booked the spa room was cheapest, it is very spacious. The mini bar In the room has multiple waters and coke and one bottle of beer. Standard two chocolates and a packet of chips. I am sure if you asked they will provide you whatever you want. I did not require anything so did not ask. I was surprised that there was nothing in regards to toiletries in the bathroom usually they have little packets of ear cleaners and eye wipes etc but they just had soap dispensers and shampoo/conditioner dispensers. The breakfast was fine and they did have a variety available. The coffee was not very good. I paid to have a latte made didn’t drink it and grabbed one from the servo instead. Staff are very friendly and there is some staff that seem to be always be here. Namely Jackson. Not sure if they are short staffed or not but the bar service is very slow. The hotel is being renovated I don’t remember reading that anywhere and the noise is annoying at times. The pool is out of bounds. That level is completely closed. There is no parking onsite but you can park at Wilson parking which is about a two minute walk away.

Food delicious. Room beautiful. Bed so comfortable and Staff so friendly.

Booked online and was only given the option of 2 guests instead of 4. (should of called prior my mistake) however still felt very unwelcome when we were up front and honest about 4 of us. I understand having to pay extra money for people to stay but $80 extra for 2 people is pretty hefty. Otherwise can't fault the room. Comfortable beds and Foxtel and Free Wi-Fi included. The location was also brilliant

Great experience best value hotel in a long time.

Amazing Hotel. The staff are very friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was beautiful. Beds are very comfortable and the rooms are very spacious. Will definitely stay here again.

Recently stayed on short notice due to access to hospital to visit family member. From arrival/check in to check out was made most welcome and comfortable… room was clean, modern and perfect temperature… bed was so comfortable and room quiet and relaxing… great central location close to tram line and cbd… would recommend anytime…

Adelaide Rockford has the best staff and management i've known so far. Down to earth, humble & beautiful people! Helped me alot during my time of trouble and supported me. They deserve medals for everything they put their foot out to do. So much respect for you, Rockford.

We had a back corner room with a spa. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable and it was quiet. The staff were very helpful and the food was amazing. The only downside was the pool being renovated and guests are not notified. We booked this hotel for the pool so we were disappointed about that.

Wonderful, Clean, Convenient and Comfortable place to stay. We spent 7 days here. Perfect place for family as everything is within walking distance. Nice staffs. Comfortable beds and clean amenities.

Friendly staff. Close to everything in CBD of Adelaide. Rooms were clean and tidy. Buffet breakfast was good.

Surprisingly large and well organised room. Nice downstairs bar/restaurant, 24hr room service, gym and pool available. Walking distance to most restaurants in CBD and railway station.

Can thoroughly recommend this hotel. The staff were really kind and caring. Great location and good value for money.

Large clean and tidy rooms. Friendly staff and breakfast was good. Didn't have time to utilise any other facilities but will be back here the next time I'm in Adelaide.

Good rooms, great pool and sauna. We were upgraded from a standard room to a superior king suite. Prices are fantastic, if you sre looking for bussines accomodation, you cant go wrong, breakfast is available in the restaurant down stairs, amazing vietnames resturant directly across the road. Windows are double glased, so you dont hear any street noise at all.

It was brilliant holidaying in this hotel, it's absolutely amazing and loved every minute of my stay. Thanks to a friendly staff and service I received from this particular hotel.

We went there for a family night in the city and we all had a great night. Highly recommend this hotel.

Worst hotel ever, very noisy feels like your sleeping on the road. Parking is very small and a guest parked a big car in the parking behind us, we were stuck for an hour but instead of apologizing the India reception staff kept insisting that it's not their fault and it was lucky that the owner of the other car checked out else we would have been stranded for god knows how long, will never go back.

This was rated as a 5star hotel. It certainly wasnt one. The carpark reserved for me had been taken by a staff member so we were left in a hot car park trying to work things out. Room was dirty and bits were broken or not working (including in house ipad), shower controls were back to front (hot symbol was matched with cold water and vice versa) and in house food was not nice.

Gr8 staff. Really helpful, Himanshu helped us check in early too which was a blessing in disguise. Convenient as its a central location. Totally recommend this place.

Rooms are dated but clean and comfortable. Staff are polite, friendly and professional.

Very nice rooms. The restaurant downstairs is limited. The west side of Adelaide slowly improving now the hospital has relocated so more food options nearby.

Great hotel, street it is on gets a bit rough late on.

The meals were superb cannot fault them, and I would of consided cheap for the quality served, Hotel Management were always working with a smile and always willing to be of assistance, some more maintenance in the apartment looked upon more regularly would have prevented the rusted soap dish falling off the wall in the shower whilst using the shower, and that glass shower recess door why it never opened by the handle on our second nights stay ill never know, we had to pull it open from the top left hand side, the bed linen was clean but very stained, the room was very spacious, lots noisy thou especially early morning.

Loved my stay there. Nice location, you can walk to many good restaurants, well appointed rooms, good friendly service.

Lovely & welcoming hotel. Made us feel like royalty. Complementary upgrade on arrival. Very clean & good location. Walking distance to nightclubs but not close enough that the noise disrupts you when you are in your room. Also walking distance to Rundle Mall. Best carpark I've parked in for a hotel. We usually struggle parking the Navarra but it was no problem & the lovely service desk attendant even explained the best side to park with such a big car. 10/10 will be back again.

Fantastic place, stayed there with the whole family, clean and tidy, the only issue parking in a bit tight to park and limited, would stay there again.

Rooms are big and clear. But 1st floor rooms haven't access to balconies. Better to choose rooms on higher floors.

Lovely updated rooms, good value, and good service. Restaurant menu is not for everyone, but good just the same.

Good for our visit. Walking distance to CBD and public transport. The staff were Friendly The rate are quite expensive. For the rate we paid we expected complementary breakfast, however there was no brekkie for us. There is a bar here, they have early check ins upon request. The room we had was old and required some painting and renovation. I can rate the room as average.

Staff are good though you shouldn't need a card to have the power on…

Would given it 5 star rating except for the banging doors when guest use their doors. We were in the middle of the hallway. A soft closing door be definitely a good option, funny though the drawers are soft closing, that is whenever you close it it will stop about an inch and will self slowly shut.

The Rockford is in a great location, walkable to plenty of restaurants and bars within town, and close to bus and tram stops to take you anywhere within and outside of town. The rooms were very nice for the price, and service was friendly and accommodate.

Location and quality of the hotel.

The place needs some love around the place. Some paint, new carpets etc but still a nice place to stay. Stayed there about 10 years ago and hasn't been touched since but nice rooms at decent prices. Completely changing my review after several weeks due to lack of respect, professionalism and general service given after my stay. I was charged a $50 deposit as I used a debit card instead of a credit card. This was to be refunded/returned to my account within 10-days of my stay. Not only (almost a month later) has this not happened but the clerks at reception are changing their story and blaming my bank for the money not being returned. I will NOT be returning or having any of my international or interstate friends stay there.

Comfortable stay. Restaurant food is very nice. Can be noisy on the street side of the building over a weekend.

Thoughtful touches. The ramp is good for those looking for something a little different. The desk manager and the breakfast room staff are polite and blend in.

Currently being renovated. The room is fantastic, quiet, and comfortable. Once lobby renos complete will be great. Restaurant was good basic food and the staff excellent.

Nice hotel in a great location. Renovations inside with the lift and outside on the street but this didn't affect me. Rooms nicely appointed and contemporary. Room service meal was nice and breakfast downstairs had good options. Will definitely stay again. A nice hotel.

We stayed here over the Easter weekend. We arrived early to drop the bags off, and was checked in as there was a room available which was more than we expected felt sorry for the guy behind the desk as he had a customer on the phone who was not very polite — and also had to deal with a very grumpy guy coming down for breakfast giving him a mouth full… but he always kept calm and never stop being polite and smiling. The room was nice and cleanwhich is fab, but unfortunately that's where it's stoped for us, the pool was like an ice pool our first night was good Friday so we thought we would have a lovely meal in the restaurant after our day of exploring all I can say it was sooooo disappointing in our eyes the fusion they have with India and Chinese is sooooo wrong on so many levels, we decided that have the tempura mushrooms for $14 there was maybe fours bit of mushrooms (not four mushrooms maybe one large one sliced up) the tempura batter was very oily and not crispy like you would expect.

Close to downtown Adelaide… you do appreciate for the very large room that was given to us though near the elevator. Breakfast is continental with good variety.

I am a frequent guest at this property. It is unpretentious, clean and good value. I am greeted warmly by reception, check in is quick and efficientefficient, and the rooms are perfectly adequate for me as a business traveller. I jump on a (free) tram to access the city, and all in all the experience is good, at a great price point.

Nice place and on hindley so u sure would have lots of fun overnight.

The room I had was comfortable and clean and excellent value. My stay was for business and I'll definitely stay at the Adelaide Rockford again. I didn't use the restaurant.

Had to wait >20mins for response on phone/person for pillow/other room necessities — overnight security is questionable.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Adelaide Rockford Hotel. It was close to many handy places such as the train station and only a short walk from Rundle Street Mall. The staff were very helpful considering I had never been to Adelaide, and provided much insight into various transport options and things to do. The room was quite spacious and included a useful A/V breakout panel to the television for connecting devices such as laptop/chromecast etc.

The hotel's position is great for those travelling without car and is a quick trip from the airport. Various shopping areas and pleasant walking tracks are within a short distance, as well many public transport options (including the free bus/tram, and the train). The Superior Room is very spacious and has many options for the tech-conscious guest, including an iPad in the room and fast wireless internet. Our concierge was very helpful with providing tips on getting around Adelaide. I would definitely stay here again!

Personal touch This hotel is well located and as a frequent visitor I feel I am recognised and valued as a customer. The property is compact and the rooms are clean and well appointed and excellent value for money.

Very average rooms. Worst pillows I have ever had. Left me with neck pain. Shower leaked. Glass door on fridge with blue light that lit up room all night. Terrible staff, not rude just Uninformed and Unhelpful. Package was not what was advertised. Stay elsewhere.

Excellent service, good rooms, spice market for cuisines, and spa suites are really awesome. You will miss going outdoors because you Will stay inside! Recommend it.

The hotel is located in a very good location and has rooms better than lots of other Accor properties. But the when it comes to service, the place is quite disappointing. I checked into my room to find out that it was not cleaned after the previous guest's checkout. When I went to get the room changed back to reception, the staff did not really think that they did something wrong. They were quite casual about it. Also, when I had to order for food during lunch time, they mentioned that they do not have a chef and there is no food available till 4pm. It is completely shocking to hear that from 4.5star hotel owned by Accor group. Not sure as to what other options are available in the city in terms of hotels, but this would not be my first choice the next time I come.

Fair price for slightly upmarket rooms with an inner city location. Enjoyable stay, friendly staff. Nice but shallow rooftop pool only thing I could missing was a spa on the rooftop area. Items in minibar in room overpriced, restraunt downstairs nice but pricey too. Plenty of nearby areas to eat anyway so not an issue! the review saying it is a rough area is misleading — sure hindley doesn't have a good rep but this hotel is on the quiet end with the only noise being from enigma bar across the road if they have live bands on — double glazed windows of the hotel absorb most of the street noise.

Amazing hotel! Great location, especially for gigs at Fowler's Live, which is just around the corner. We stayed in the superior king room, and highly recommend it. The iPad with complimentary Wi-Fi, and Apple TV were brilliant additions to the room, and is definitely a unique thing I have never seen offered in a hotel before. The room service was quick, and the food amazing! Must try the pizzas after a long night! Didn't have much interraction with the staff, but the man who took our order for room service at 3pm stood out as he was genuinely friendly and was a pleasure to talk to. Will definitely stay again.

Booked the 'Superior King Spa Suite', was more like a basic room with an average spa. With a name like that, we had higher expectations. Should have gone to Stamford Plaza.

Central location on Hindley St. Adelaide's nite spot street. Very friendly staff. They've just renovated the bar and restaurant. Good beds. Everything you need in a 4 start hotel.
