Centrally located& big rooms
Only downfall is restaurant & bar were closed & no coffee in the rooms, Had to specifically order from concierge to bring up 2 the room.

We had a family suite for four people but only 2 towels etc two plates, glasses, bowls and cups how are our boys meant to eat with out crockery and shower without towels. We had to order these from the desk. Also we had no tea bags, coffee or sugar sachets complimentary like every other hotel I have stayed in. Will never go back or recommend it to anone. Dont stay at the mantra hindmarsh square.

I had an unplanned stay at the Mantra for a night when I was in Adelaide for the Fringe Festival. I was upset that I was paying a lot for a hotel room as I usually stay in hostels but the experience and service was great I was originally staying at a hostel which was dirty and unpleasant and decided at about 1am to leave and stay somewhere else so that I would be able to get some sleep.
I called up and was told there was a room available and arrived shortly after. The staff member was really welcoming, and kind, and was able to get the room ready within about 10 minutes despite my very late (or very early) check-in time. He also booked the room for me from Saturday night to Monday, so that I would not be required to get up early and check-out by 9am on the Sunday. He also booked a 2 bedroom room for me so that I would not need to sleep in a room that would be very close to the elevator. The room was clean, tidy, and the hotel was quiet. Was able to check-out around 1pm on the Sunday and head to the airport which took pressure off having to get up early and leave my luggage there after checking-out with a whole bunch of others who were checking out in the morning.
The hotel is in a great area and it is easy to walk or take an E-Scooter anywhere in the CBD. Unlikely that I would stay again as I don't spend on accommodation but wanted to say thank you for the service.

Great Central location for exploring the Adelaide CBD and surrounds. Was reasonably priced with friendly and helpful staff. Would stay there again.

Very disappointed.
My daughters nappy leaked on our second night and I left the sheets pulled back so it was obvious and returned to what I thought was clean sheets only to discover on checking out a few days later when retrieving a toy from under the sheets the sheet hadn’t been changed just simply flipped over with the soiled mark now face down at the foot end.
So disgusted.

Our hotel of choice every time we stay in Adelaide. Great hotel, friendly staff and fantastic location. Really recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The staff at Mantra Hindmarsh Square are just gorgeous. So friendly, helpful and accommodating. Always a lovely stay.

I travel frequently and stay in the hotel every other week. Each staff explains policy in a different way.
This time the freezer/fridge had a lot of hairs. This was very disgusting.

A very comfortable stay in the centrally located hotel in Hindmarsh Square. Modern, comfortable rooms with ample space and amenities. Walking distance to some great restaurants and shopping.

Hotel staff were very nice. Don't like that you have to pay $5 for a bottle of water. At least 1 should be complementary. Room was quite large, but some of the finishes and the carpet were a bit tired. Would stay again, but the rooms could deal with some TLC.

The cafe bar downstairs has just the right pace and quietness. A real retreat in the centre of the city. We've been going back for years, because it's consistent and family tolerant!

An amazing hotel! We stayed at the Mantra for 2 nights and loved it. Our room was so nice, great view, extensive kitchenette area and comfy beds. Very nice staff, accommodating. Be sure to choose this hotel to stay at, we will be coming back again!

Mantra are never the most modern of place but they are comfy and offer a great consistency across the brand and this hotel is no different. Staff are friendly, rooms are a nice size but certainly on the smaller side of average. It is in a handy location with taxis right out the front door.

Excellent location. High quality room. Great little gym. Nice food in the downstairs cafe — if you can avoid it when a tour group is there.

Went for lunch on a Thursday, service was prompt and efficient. Meals didnt take long to come out, tasted good but my burger had to be changed to a mini foccacia as they ran out of buns. Disappointed it meant the meal was smaller. Value for money was good, house wine and meal for $20. This was our second visit and would still come back.

Great place to stay. Very welcoming and "feel like home" in there. Comfortable and provide all you need. The lobby smells nice~

Nice hotel central in Adelaide City. Kitchenette in room is nice but it would be better if the bed sheets fitted the mattress. At 6ft3in I despise sheets that fail to reach the end of the mattress but these did. Disappointing.

Horrible service. You get treated better and have more amenities at a hostel than you do here. Unfortunately nothing comes with your package, including Wi-Fi. Everything costs extra, I might as well have stayed at a hostel. At least you would know what you're getting into.

Stay here for work regularly. Beautiful rooms. Great service excellent location.

Room was clean and tidy, bed was really comfy, large spaced room. I bought a sparking wine in the bar down stairs and it was warm but for a $5 happy hour I didn’t complain. I then bought a decent bottle to take up to my room and it too was warm.

Room was nice enough. Shower was terrible and filled the whole bathroom with water. Bedroom part of room didn't have venting so it got hot through the night and had to open the doors. Iron didn't work properly but that's not really a reason to lower rating but probably bad luck. Would have expected better for a mantra hotel.

It is good, very good attention, clean only the parking has cost.

The rooms are lovely but the reason for 1 star is the absolutely poor customer service. Beware the young blonde female on reception — despite booking a cot for our baby, she was extremely angry about bringing it to our room saying "there were no notes about the booking" and she just dumped the sheets on top of it despite us paying $30 for it per night! The next day she was also in a very angry mood — such a downer when you're on holidays and have paid a lot of money for what you hoped would be a good experience!

Loved it. Room was very comfy and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend the Mantra Hindmarsh Square.

We've stayed here a few times now and the rooms are always good quality. The service at the front desk is good and the restaurant provides decent quality meals and great coffee. One of my favourite centralised and reasonably priced restaurants in Adelaide.

Clean. Good customer service. Can be a little noisy. No valet parking was available.

Cheap, clean, good location. Lifts are a bit slow but the staff are friendly.

Nice comfy hotel but a bit dated. Air con didn't work properly while we were there. Balcony opened onto the back street which was a bit strange.

Overall it was a pleasant stay but a couple things prevent a 5 star rating. The room keys are a hit and miss, working barely half the time, the rooms are somewhat small and dull (still comfortable though) but the main issue I had was that I got stuck in one of the lifts! The staff were very helpful and friendly though, made sure I was comfortable and made up for it as best they could. So, not absolutely perfect but does the job for someone passing through.

Door cards seem to have issues, ive experienced a 50% success rate with them and have to go back to reception for a new key card. Otherwise very quite, comfortable and great location.

Great location excellent staff, loved the apartment ovetlooking the park. The facility could do with more than one washer and dryer for the complex. But a top place to stay.

Staff are fantastic! Extremely accommodating, made the stay very pleasant. Knocking off points for low quality TV set up, pretty poor. Would stay here for work again over the other hotel I stayed in *cough* Stamford *cough.

Decent Hotel. Rooms were nice but not terribly exciting. TV was locked and HDMI didn't work on them. Not something everyone cares about of course!

Not a bad hotel, bathroom needs updating, being a metal sink bowl felt like I was in a public toilet. I also think Wi-Fi should be offered for free as I have staying in some smaller cheaper hotels that still offer free Wi-Fi, which I would never pay for. But dinner in the restaurant is a must, great service beautiful food fast service. Late check out was a bonus too, I did feel security was lacking as anyone can enter the building and go up the elevator without a key. Bed comfort was average.

TERRIBLE SERVICE — DEFINITELY DO NOT BOOK HERE! — For the same sort of money you would be better off booking into The Langham, Crown, or any other Melbourne Hotel. The staff are very unhelpful and NOT Friendly at all! They made a mistake with our booking, and even after admitting their mistake (including phone recording! ) they would not refund our booking!

Everything was amazing, probably one of the nicest hotel rooms I've stayed in. Only note would be the bathroom sink being stainless steel. It's a small thing but it just felt out of place in such a nice room.

What a beautiful place to settle in for the night. Suite is lovely, bed is comfy and the staff are amazing.
In the heart of the beautiful city of churches highly recommend.

No free Wi-Fi only for guests that pay for the more expensive rooms. To be told I don't get free Wi-Fi because I'm in a cheaper room when I'm paying $159 a night is rude. Plus they hold an extra $100 on top of the room cost from your debit card and take ages to get it back. Beautiful rooms and very close and convenient to everything.

Room: comfortable but the heating was very high. Whwn we told reception, they just told us we should've told them in the middle of the night… Heating inside the room was set to 24.5c! **Dining: the waiters & waitresses were so lovely! Great interactions with the wait staff there and looked after us very well. Food was great! Price is a bit higher than I'd expect but you are eating at the hotel… so you'll pay those prices to eat 1 minute from your room! Lol.

Travelling for work. Excellent location and friendly staff. Small but functional gym. Good restaurant downstairs. Rooms was comfortable, quiet and clean. Only small complaint was room key was very difficult to get a read from.

Nice, clean hotel with plenty of facilities, like stove, microwave and kettle which always come in handy. A few poorly maintained doors and confusing door cards were a minor mark on what was a comfortable stay.

The best place to stay in the Adl CBD! A well equipped gym, apartment, laundry and housekeeping facilities. Would recommend this place to all my friends. The SQ restaurant downstairs is one if the best places for lunch & dinner with friends or to have a business function.

Rooms are OK, by no means should you visit the downstairs restaurant unless you need to get rid of all of your money very quickly.

Stayed overnight a few times. The rooms are large, but ask for a balcony for the best views! The Chef makes the best chips ever. The rest of your life is great, but the chips. Melt. Most of the bar staff are super friendly, Nikki is a star cocktail maker! Edward — front Office Manager — was every time I'm in brilliant friendly service.
