When you make a booking they ask you if you have as car so they can accommodate your needs. As you arrive through the front doors you are greeted with friendly staff who are willing to help. Make sure you grab some tourist brochures before you up the elevator. First impression as you go up the escalator to your room is a feeling of fresh grey paint and new carpet. Not quite 4 star but it's not a dump either. The rooms are huge, very quiet and very clean. The cleaning staff do a great job. There is free Wi-Fi and free to air T. V. The fridge is well stocked and there are enough glasses for a night in. There is no restaurant to order breakfast, lunch or dinner. However, you are supplied with an app for just about every popular restaurant in the area and delivery is as quick. Trams are free in the intercity area. The nearest stop is just across the road and they usually run every 15 minutes.

A great night shared by all. The only thing I can pick fault with is my deposit — waiting a week $100 is a lot to some.

Went in to the RAH for an op. Husband booked into hotel for two nights. I found that I would be in hospital longer. The wonderful staff at the hotel were very accommodating. They could not have been better, the hotel room clean and bright. 10/10for the reception staff. Will be staying again very shortly. Thank you.

There are Procedures and then there is Ethics So where do I start with my trip from hell… I was meant to arrive and check in for a WEEK staying at this property on the Saturday, due to no fault of my own my flight was delayed by 6 hours which meant that I missed my connection flight, as soon as I found out I informed the lovely Mary on reception. As this was no fault of the establishment I sucked up the nights accommodation and informed her that I would be 'officially' checking in late the following night due to the changes of my flight. After finally arriving in Adelaide for my big week of work at the Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE), I popped into a welcome function before checking in to say hello to a few industry colleagues, around 10pm I checked into the Adelaide Riviera Hotel and that's where my nightmare really began. When I arrived at the reception desk, Mary was there to greet me. Whilst checking in I was asked for my credit card, as I went to grab my purse out of my bag I noticed that it was not there and then freaked out. Instantly I ran back to the prior establishment to see if it was there which it was not, it had been stolen!

It is a good and convenient place to stay when visiting Adelaide. The pricing is reasonable with good access to the surrounding area.

Family rooms are a good value for money and the location is quite good. Hotel himself is getting old and needs a refresher.

Paid extra for a superior room but got the view of a building next door. Convenient location and prices get you what you would expect, a dated but clean room.

It's a no frill option. No restaurant. Good spacious rooms. Location is great. Can reach by the tram. 20 minutes from Adelaide hotel. Inexpensive.

Clean rooms. Enough sockets, enough towels. Additional socket for the shaver with international plug. Generally very centrally located, the staff is friendly.

Was a great overnight stay. Close to the entertainment area if Adelaide, not too far from Adelaide oval, right opposite the hospital. Staff were helpful and use of the carpark was great as on street car parking is time limited and paid parking is a small salk away. Room was what you would expect as a basic hotel, but clean and well maintained. We would come again.

The hotel is well located. The room was comfortable but without any view on the outside! A little creepy and you should not be claustrophobic! Breakfast served without a paper bag! For two nights it can pass. Very standard staff! Fortunately there are plenty of things to do in town and the airport is only 15 minutes from the hotel.

Well priced and great location if you're attending a conference at the exhibition centre. Quiet part of the town but still in walking distance to everything. Rooms are quiet and comfortable.

Fantastic location, right off a Tram station. We stayed in an Executive Spa Suite that was recently renovated, lovely room on the fourth floor that was spacious and well appointed. Place was also very cleanly.

Great base camp when visiting Adelaide. Located on one of the fringes, close to public transport and about 10 mins walk to the city centre. Friendly staff, great housekeeping service, priced fairly. Would highly recommend.

Pro — next to hospital. Cons — low quality with lots of maintenance issues, very thin walls, not convenient for food/shopping. Other than proximity to new hospital there are almost no redeeming features to the hotel. Don't believe the photos — the quality of rooms is scary (we had doors coming off their hinges and the curtains didn't shut properly — and the elevators continually felt like they were about to fail at any stage). The walls were so thin you could clearly hear the rustle of plastic bags from next door — zero privacy. Also the car park out the back is very limited size and you need to call the hotel before arrival to secure a park. Few if any options if you don't get one. The staff appeared to have little interest in working there or providing a good quality service. Kind of depressing. Also there is almost nothing to eat nearby — closest decent meals in Gouger St about 15-20mins walk away. Would not recommend staying here — and I definitely thought was over-priced.

The service was great very friendly service right in the cbd of adelaide an straight across from the new royal adelaide hosital, rooms are clean and like a home away from home id recommend it.

It's an over priced dump. It's not worth the money at all. Rooms are tiny and dirty. Everything is covered in dust the air con / heating is the oldest unit I have ever seen. It's by far the worst hotel I have stayed in. And a waste of money if you want to ruin your trip then book a room here the walls are paper thin you can hear some one fart in the next room. The elevator is covered with graffiti. They don't supply any cutlery, there's no microwave or toaster, you literally pay for a bed and a tv. Rooms haven't been updated for at least 20 years. The beds are about as soft as a brick. Rooms are nothing like the images on their website. I'd avoid this place at all cost. There's far better rooms out there for half the price. They offer free Wi-Fi but all you get is 200mb. The car park is horrible. So many cars jammed in to the smallest parking lot ever parking is $18 a day and you are almost guaranteed to end up with damage to your car.

Located directly opposite the New Royal Adelaide Hospital the Riviera is well placed. The rooms are tidy although a bit dated. The hotel lackes a restaurant bit does offer a "packed" breakfast. Ok for an over night stay.

The worst accommodation we've had in Adelaide FOR VALUE FOR MONEY. Could feel springs and wires of bed and asked for another room. Was told that all beds in other rooms the SAME? Much better bed supplied but decor in both rooms and general facilities not updated since the? 90s. Despite requesting early book-in and it confirmed was told room not available til 2pm. Walls extremely paper thin — have never heard and felt mobile phone in another room VIBRATE before. Husband thought my phone was ringing. Heard complete conversations of other guests. Clean bathroom but stunk of bleach. This place is a fair walk from facilities and compared to same priced rooms near Rundle Mall, this place is completely OVER PRICED. Only saving grace is that its near the new hospital which is not opened yet and tram stops. Will not be using again due to its lack of value for money and it does not make clear that parking is $18. All web pics have cushions on beds etc. NO pillows on the beds, no luxury, not the place to go for romance, this is barely functional, basic accommodation and it is over priced which is its biggest downfall.

This is my second stay in this hotel. This hotel DOES NOT offer breakfast, lunch or dinner. However, there are a few fast food restaurants located just a few minutes walk from the hotel car park. The "free" Wi-Fi connections have issues on both occasions. If you are lucky you can eventually connect to the Internet. The $18 overnight parking fees are a bit stiff.

The Comfort Hotel Adelaide Riviera is located in the center of Adelaide near the city's universities. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance as are a golf course and tennis courts. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There are no microwaves or refrigerators in the rooms. The staff were friendly and eager to help. There is a bag check at the front desk if you would like to leave your bags after you check out to explore the city.

Friendly, competent staff and clean rooms in the Adelaide CBD, but even the slightest noise from adjoining rooms can be clearly heard and the bed was too hard for our liking. Our room was also in need of basic maintenance — half flush button broken, cabinet door on refrigerator off the top hinge, wardrobe handle unscrewed. The price was right, though.

A great and affordable place to stay overnight in Adelaide with cheap car parking available. Easy stroll to Festival Theatre and the Casino. The tram stops near the front door, so it is an easy and free ride to the CBD, Central Markets, and Chinatown. Rooms are clean and currently undergoing renovations.

On the up for sure. Excellent staff, super friendly. Quick tram to Rundle Mall.

Decent hotel at a decent price. The location isn't ideal and the bathrooms aren't the nicest, but the beds are comfortable, the staff is helpful and the rooms are spacious. The internet situation is also a bit strange (you have to sign in every 200 MB used), but it's fast and works well in the rooms.

A receptionist named Lee hung up on me while I was inquiring about prices. Very rude.

Its the best hote in Adelaide. Service is womderful, front desk is very helpful and friendly. I will definetly consider staying here again everytime I come. Easy access to Tram station and Bus stops (3 minutes away). Thanks guys for all your help and outstanding hospitality.

Extremely good customer service, they were kind enough to provide me with a refund when my flight was cancelled and I couldn't make it to the hotel.

Couldn't fault it, room very clean and fresh, I've stayed in numerous hotels in Adelaide and the staff at the front desk (Elizabeth) had the best attitude and customer service I have had, a credit to the hotel.

Worst Motel I've stayed in. They made a mistake and took over $400 from my bank account (rather than $245) overdrawing my account, didn't take accountability for it and blamed my Bank. Charged me $25 for a bed I never asked for and I paid $18 for a few a very AVERAGE and small 'hot' breakfast. Not to mention $18 to park your car AT the motel. Seriously.

The worst hotel in Adelaide. I stayed in this hotel for 5 days, and I think it was the worst hotel I’ve ever been. First, the room was dirty and full of ants (I am not kidding). The curtains were broken, and I did not manage to get the appropriate darkness for sleeping. They told me that they have free wireless Internet in the lobby, but the second day it stopped working, and they didn’t fix it (always avoiding the issue). Last but not least. I prepaid the room on their Internet website and, once there, I asked for an invoice. They told me that they have technical issues because Internet payments were stored in another computer, but the promise to email me the invoice. After many emails and phone calls from Europe, they refused to send me the correct invoice. Definitively, the worst hotel in Adelaide.
