Even though it's raining, we absolutely loved it. (well we are lovers of rain). Beautiful scenery, comfortable, relaxing room and spa, lovely friendly staff, and the food and drinks we're spot on. Definitely will be back.

Hi, after departing this morning I feel the need to share my experience. Although our stay was wonderful, I was extremely disappointed with the fact our room did not have a view. Considering I book well in advance and directly with the resort! Even on arrival we asked if our room had a view and we were told all had a view! We were in room 315, and honestly saying it has a view is a stretch! The room itself I can not fault nor the facilities. Just extremely disappointed when you book direct and stay 6 nights.

Loved every minute here. Staff are so lovely and helpful. Would recommend Peppers anytime.

We initially had a slight issue at check in but Michelle the front office manager took it all upon herself to fix our problem. She gave updates & followed through with her promise to fix our issue (which started with a third party). She was lovely and so were the restaurant staff. We also had great views & lovely food. We recommend!

Fantastic one bedroom apartment that had everything I could need or want. It’s a great location in a quiet part of town with amazing views, the hotel has everything you need including a great restaurant and fantastic service. The staff are friendly and there is plenty of free parking. Would highly recommend staying at peppers at Airlie Beach.

Totally recommend Peppers. Great big suites with all you could need. Fab views great staff and free shuttle to town. Only let down for me was lack of weights in the gym.

Would give a 4.5 if it were possible. This is a gorgeous resort with spacious, comfortable rooms and beautiful views. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Big thanks to Josh at reception for his help with storing my husband's bike. The room itself had a couple of small maintenance issues but none impacted our stay. The resort is far enough out of town that you couldn't/wouldn't walk but the courtesy bus solves that issue. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Have only been here one night but so far so good. Everything is spotless services great. Intranet source spotty, otherwise perfect. Breakfast was amazing, Served near the pool. Eggs made to order and great coffee.

I loved the view and the room, great location even if you don't have a car. Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Downsides: shower area does not have a door so water splashes everywhere and windows don't have a screen protector to stop bugs coming in.

Luxury apartment. Kakadu visit included.

Very close to the main street in Airlie Beach but it's a very steep hill down, you're best off getting a taxi, buggy, or shuttle bus. So close that a taxi costs between $5 — $10. Nice pool, if a bit small. Very friendly staff. Food is nice but a little pricey for dinner. Due to the steep hills staff will transport you from the lobby to your room. All in all, I would stay again if I were to come back to Airlie Beach.

Very nice location, stunning views of Port of Airlie/Airlie Beach. Not immediately at the sea, but closeby (steep slope though). Convenient buggy transportation within the complex. Lovely small pool and spa. In-room spa enjoyable.

I have to say that as experience and was pleasant, spacious rooms, the view beautiful just because the hotel is placed over a hill, the restaurant service works well, the staff is attentive to the needs of the customers and plus has a shuttle service every hour to Be able to go down into the center. The sea offers breathtaking views especially if you visit the reef. Certainly the cost is not available to all but not impossible, not bad to try at least once, I did it and I did not regret.

Decent breakfast variety with mostly friendly staff. Rooms are all very nicely furnished with great coastal views but beware the hill to get to the accommodation. I would recommend waiting for the shuttle bus to go in and out of town rather than walking in the scorching heat of the day. The pool is also too small for the number of guests when the hotel is at capacity. Other than that it was a great stay.

Had a great stay here in 2017 a few months before Cyclone Debbie. Whilst the property is a fair way up the hill, and a lengthy walk from town, that in itself is an asset if you are travelling with family, or a couple. Staying in the town itself can be a bit noisy and is very back-packer. There is a free shuttle that drives a loop into and out of the town on the regular, so you don't have to walk. We hired a car for a day trip, which allowed us to get around a lot. Peppers provides a great breakfast and there is a pool that the kids will love to play in on the days that you decide not to go on a tour, or if your fishing trip gets rained out.

It has been lovely. So relaxing, staff extremely helpful, kitchen well equipped for preparing easy dinners on the veranda (No need for lunch with the extensive buffet breakfast). Amazing views from bedroom, lounge or veranda. Comfy beds… Spa bath, wet edge pool overlooking the ocean. Couldn't ask for more.

Had Xmas dinner here. The restaurant is very beautiful with wonderful looks of the little bay with marinas of Airlie beach. The food was really good, although this is an upscake place so don't expect a meal deal here. It was expensive even for us new yorkers.

Above the overall quality of the service my family and I received during the last couple of days, I would like to especially thank the hotel staff who were managing the emergency situation due to a nearby bushfire around 4:00 am on the 1 Jan 2018. Fortunately there was no damage to the hotel, but the team were effectively controlling the situation by evacuating all the guests safely in close coordination with the emergency services, while keeping them informed of the progress of the response process and attending to the needs of all the guests. As a health & safety management systems auditor who happened to be among the Peppers' guests, I would like to highly commend the hotel management and staff who were involved in this emergency response for their efficient, effective and professional performance. We look forward to spending the rest of our vaccation at Peppers and wish everyone a safe and Happy 2018.

Amazing place with beautiful views and the staff are very professional. The restaurant is always well maitained and the food delicious. With the town very close and the shuttle bus always on time. A place I recommend to everyone.

Really enjoyed our stay here great location, nice rooms, friendly staff and great food (the fish taco was the best I've had) we had visits from cockatoos, tree frogs and lizards — we miss it.

Absolutely fabulous. Staff are amazing. Room was awesome and the food was to die for. Thanks guys my husbands birthday present of a beautiful bottle of red was very kind. We will be back!

Great view from comfortable apartments The hotel is built in the hillside and consists of various buildings with each of some apartments and parking spaces on the ground floor. The main building with pool and restaurant can be reached after the first steep slope. The reception is open to the outside. Everything seems very inviting. When we were there, there was a parallel wedding party on site.
Location & surroundings From the hotel, you can either take a free shuttle or a 10-minute walk in the centre of Airlie Beach. Just as quickly you can reach the ferry to Hamilton Island and part of the harbour. Deduction is available for the steep slope that could cause problems for some who are no longer so good to walk. Even for breakfast you already have a whole descent to deal with.
Room The room was a large apartment with comfortable facilities. Large fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, full kitchen, air conditioning in sleep — and living room, couch, loungers on the balcony, large whirlpool bath, 2 televisions and dining table outside. Everything was very clean and modern. The king-over bed was comfortable and the room was well darkened. On the balcony you got daily visits from lizards and Kakakus (3rd ow).
Service The service was good. On request, the common deck was replaced by two individual ones.

Stayed here for 3 nights in mid peak season and it was amazing. The staff are great, the rooms are probably the best in Airlie beach and the view is outstanding. The buffet breakfast is awesome and well worth it. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. The only downside is the hills however the staff will zip you around in golf buggies if you need, I wouldn't let it affect my stay.

Service is excellent. Would recommend this place. However I'd like I full length mirror somewhere in the apartment…

The room had a frequent overpowering damp/mould smell… only about 12 people can sit around the small pool. Helps to be part mountain goat because the site is so steep. Courtesy bus to town only runs on the hour, only drops off to two places and does not run after 7pm. Staff were great but clearly understaffed. Had to wait like many others because our room wasn't ready. Every morning had to clear dirty dishes so that we could sit at a breakfast table.

Luxury resort, awesome rooms with amazing view on Port of Airlie and nice pool. Breakfast is very good.

Views are magnificent, staff were really great too. We took advantage of their cocktail passport where you can order ten cocktails for $99 which we thought was great value. We even booked a great barrier reef adventure through them and they handled all the requests, pick up and drop off times to marina as well as shuttle for us to get there. We went on a fishing charter and caught plenty and peppers can cook it for you at $10 pp charge. The chef did a wonderful job as the dishes were cooked to perfection.

Great place to stay, so glad that we caught a Taxi up the hill and didn't try and walk from the Ferry Terminal though. Beautiful views and pretty close to town.

Our accomodation was clean, had a spectacular view over the bay. Service was good. Friendly helpful staff. Would certainly come again.

Beautiful place to stay. Excellent location however there is a hill climb but the view is worth it. Apartments are very clean and spacious. Excellent facilities, the food is well presented. Reasonably priced. The staff are genuine and very friendly. Well worth the rates.

We enjoyed our stay, friendly staff, free bus handy, chef helpful and accomodating! Reception friendly too! Only negative is the bedding is too short for our bed.

Super friendly staff, awesome room with an amazing view. Breakfast was included which is always great. The premises is set on the side of a very steep incline, there's a shuttle service every two hours from 9am to 7pm or four those that don't mind walking the short distance into town they will drop you off at the bottom of the hill and pick you up at any time during office hours. I'd happily stay here again.

Just outside of Airlie but with a courtesy bus. Great apartments with balconies and huge bath. The whole complex is on the side of a steep hill, so even the walk from your room to the bar can build up an appetite. Food was stunning and plentiful. Pool was cool but refreshing. All in all highly recommended for quiet luxury.

Stayed there with the mrs for a couple of nights, pretty expensive for what you get and unless you have a car you will hate getting up and down the Mountain of a driveway! Rooms were great, view was great and the service was great. Pool was right beside the restaurant which I thought was strange but overall fairly happy with our stay.

Rather Expensive. Yet Disappointing, Arrived at the hotel, Took 10 minutes to get served by hotel staff as the counter was unattended, oh and its on a huge hill! little difficult to navigate up there, Rooms were Nice very modern, tho the balcony was crawling with some small bugs! spa bath was rather nice, for $230 a night it doesn't really offer anything great! The pool area is right next to the dinning area, who wants to see people in there jock while your eating? not me.
