We had a great cruise on the kamira, but I would recommend a two day cruise to anyone considering going out there.

We did Riders to Paradise which was brilliant, one of the best things we have done in Australia.

Did the great barier reef tour. The snorkeling is awesome and the price is really worth it. But the scuba diving tour I took was quite bad. It was supposed to be half an hour bit it was only fifteen minutes. That comes down to 8 dollar per minute! And even when we needed to make a break, because the equipment broke, we didn't extend! But the snorkeling was really great.

This really is worth it! Staff are extremely friendly, got drinks served to us as soon as we sat down. Great buffet lunch. Try not to go in April because its supposed to be the windiest month in the Whitsundays. The tide was a bit too rough for those who went snorkelling. But we all went scuba diving for the first time — which I totally recommend to those of you who haven't done it before. The staff are really encouraging and helpful, they are there with you at all times and are high on safety. My Grandad (70yrs), being an unconfident swimmer, dived for the first time in his life. The head of the divers was really supportive and he had a wonderful time. As well as snorkelling and diving, you can book a helicopter flight on the cruise out to the reef. This is also worth it.

Whilst the price seems high, this really is great value! Huge boat, loads of staff, great safety breaking, unbelievably well organised. This trip without the Great Barrier Reef would have been five stars. Coffee delivered to you on boarding with fruit and water on the trip. The large pontoon on the reef has so many features that the four hour stop will leave you wanting more. Regular head counts and friendly and knowledgable staff that will help you and answer all questions. The trip includes refreshments and lunch, free snorkel, fin and wetsuit hire, free semisubmersible ride, plus the option to have a guided tour of the reef, helicopter trips, massages, scuba diving and more. I traveled with three young children, including a baby, and felt well looked after and safe throughout. This trip has resulted in one more item being ticked off my bucket list.

Good snorkelling on the outer reef. They do try hard to sell you scuba diving on the way out but snorkelling is just fine and my wife and I enjoyed.

Great Barrier Reef Cruise was a great day out, moring and afternoon tea provided as well as a pretty nice lunch. Scuba diving is extra but a great opportunity to dive the Reef as a novice. Snorkeling was terrific, well worth the dough. Scenic cruising on way back was nice… But frustrating when you've had a big day and just want to get back to base.
