Great view from comfortable apartments The hotel is built in the hillside and consists of various buildings with each of some apartments and parking spaces on the ground floor. The main building with pool and restaurant can be reached after the first steep slope. The reception is open to the outside. Everything seems very inviting. When we were there, there was a parallel wedding party on site.
Location & surroundings From the hotel, you can either take a free shuttle or a 10-minute walk in the centre of Airlie Beach. Just as quickly you can reach the ferry to Hamilton Island and part of the harbour. Deduction is available for the steep slope that could cause problems for some who are no longer so good to walk. Even for breakfast you already have a whole descent to deal with.
Room The room was a large apartment with comfortable facilities. Large fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer, full kitchen, air conditioning in sleep — and living room, couch, loungers on the balcony, large whirlpool bath, 2 televisions and dining table outside. Everything was very clean and modern. The king-over bed was comfortable and the room was well darkened. On the balcony you got daily visits from lizards and Kakakus (3rd ow).
Service The service was good. On request, the common deck was replaced by two individual ones. The staff were accommodating and as attention to our honeymoon we even got a bottle of sparkling wine.
Gastronomy The breakfast was taken outside and was fine by Australian standards. Egg food was freshly prepared and served at the table. Otherwise, toast, cereals, fresh fruit and many hot dishes on offer. Everything seemed freshly prepared.
Sports & Entertainment The hotel has an inviting pool next to the restaurant. It is clean and big enough to swim a few lanes.
