My family booked 2 rooms at this resort. While one appears to have been recently renovated, the other was slightly dated and walls etc could use a freshen up. I imagine this may be a work in progress. The rooms were very large though, perfect for families/groups. Close to beach and lots of cafes/shops. Quiet spot where all you can hear is the waves outside.
We had an issue with some of the bedding on arrival but the staff were wonderful and offered us a complementary voucher as an apology.
My only recommendation to the staff would be to check the surface around the pool as my young daughter slipped quite easily walking to the spa and grazed her elbow.
We look forward to coming back!

My family and I came to the hotel early this year from the U. K and We would come back in a heart beat. Hotel was like home from home and veiws were fantasic.

My family and I recently stayed in Unit 13 at the Chateau Royale. It has recently been fully renovated with brand new kitchen and bathrooms. We absolutely loved the location of this unit as it is located on the lowest level and has the best view of the pool, which our family spent so much time swimming at! Also we made great use of the outdoor BBQ. Along with the pool view, we could enjoy the views of the ocean, walking distance to the river and many playgrounds.
The managers were fantastic and very welcoming.

I stayed at this establishment and I urge people to reconsider staying at the Royale Chateau. The Management are corrupt. I overheard conversations from these people running the place; and from what I heard I was absolutely gob smacked in the way that they treat people. The most shocking thing about this establishment is the fact that it's ratings are high universally.

We had a fantastic weekend. This resort is ideally located for getting around. We dined at Ocean Ended which was a 10 minute walk away… fabulous meal & service. I highly recommend Chateau Royal and the management are first class.

Was a good experience. However, the room packed finish and we went without things which one would expect would be a given. No bedside tables were in the main bedroom of our room and the TV lacked a cable and therefore did not even turn on.

Got a great deal on a three bedroom suite with 180+ degree view up high. Really beautiful. Great service and clean fitout.

To start Bigger rooms than most holiday unit resorts. Old style refurbished building with huge balconies + plenty of space both inside & outside the unit. Positioned close to shopping & the beach. Very tidy & well managed. Probably the best in Cotton Tree.

Rooms were clean and of a good size, Wifi available, nice and clean swimming pool and other ammenaties, very close walk to a good beach and to Maroochydore river. Well priced even during peak season.

After having a bit of an issue previously, we wanted to go back to Chateau Royale, as in our opinion its the best apartment block on the Maroochydore Coast, excellent location, gorgeous views, lovely clean apartments, and very helpful and friendly staff, everything in the apartment you could possibly need, we could have just stayed there and looked at the view forever, it was very relaxing, good location for Noosa, Eumundi, and the Aussie Zoo, we love to base ourselves here, it just feels like home to us now, and we will be back for many more years, we have already booked for next year, well worth a visit.

We were recommended staying here, and we were not disappointed, the staff were friendly and efficient. I would stay there again and I will definately be recommending it to friends and family. Great central location and very spacious apartment.

It is a very well designed place with views forever I sat there for 2 hrs just looking at the sea rolling in and people enjoying the surf. Well appointed and very clean you want for nothing. We have stayed there twice and will go back again when time permits. We have returned on the 24th Oct — 28th Oct '12 and our stay was exellent again. It is the best position on the Maroochydore Coast line. We even managed to see a pod of whales moving south. It was wonderful. Thank you all for the service.

This place is amazing — they have great Maroochydore Accommodation and beachfront beach houses. We stayed in one of the apartments and had amazing views all the way up and down the coast. The location is hard to beat as it is so close to the Sunshine Plaza and Cotton Tree which is such a quaint village with great choice of cafes and shopping. The kids loved the beach and river and we loved the relaxing Sunshine Coast Holiday. Thank you — we will be back again soon.
