Great little park we stayed in no:26 on the river with a 20.6 caravan had no trouble getting in. Clean amenities lovely staff. However SAND FLIES/MOSSIES on dusk……. Take your aerogard… My partner has stayed there in July and had no trouble but September different story. I think park staff should make a point of telling people this.

Yes. Talk about convenience. Close to everything. Just off the highway so you get noise. But that is to be expected. Showers are great. Friendly staff. Clean and tidy.

So good for families as I took my disabled girl and other teenagers and especially with pets. Kids loved the pool and play ground :-) Lovely place and beautiful staff. Highly recommend.

The bed was so comfy, the cabin smelt lovely and was very clean. Absolutely would stay again thanks guys:)

Great place to stay if you are fishing in Rockhampton. The park is well located on the river, just up the road from the best boat ramp I've ever seen. Set among lush tropical gardens the cabins are clean, well appointed and very affordable. Five stars from me!

Seem quite strict. Need to have a friendly reception. Very full. Only stayed one night. Amenities need modernising.

Centrally located park, amenities are older but kept very tidy and clean. Easy walk to centre of town.

Just Overpriced like most caravan parks. Unpowered with 2A and 4C $58 per night to sleep next to main powerlines and busy main Fitzroy bridge. Pool tidy. Amenities ok to fair. Kids play ground shabby. Water views though. Still overpriced.

The five stars are mainly because of the help of management in assisting us. We were having warranty work on our caravan that was taking longer than anyone exoected. They arranged for us to stay in cabins/villas at short, very short notice. Very much appreciated. We now have our van back and they have fitted us in a powered site overnight. Again thankyou. I have read some of the reviews and I suggest to the very few that were negative that you sell your van/tent etc and stay home.

Spare of the moment decision to stay enroute to Cairns but I’m glad I did… Was reasonably quiet given the central location, was easy to find, it is a clean n tidy park and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Value for money too… I will look forward to staying here again next trip through town.

Code is ridiculous. Had to key it in a minimum of 3 times before it worked. Paid less for more at other parks. Bring the aeroguard! Rec room upstairs. Not disability friendly rec room. Feels like you're walking into a larger size caboose.

It's a great park with all facilities. Best of all there is a great boat ramp right next door for some great fishing in the Fitzroy river.

A big shout out to Mark and staff for their hospitality, excellent cabins and great rates. I could have just stayed there as a photographer and never left again. Very impressed and would recommend this as your number one stop passing through or staying for your entire break. Central to everything you could ever need, and only a short walk to it all. Can not wait to return soon.

Tidy caravan park, staff are friendly, great facilities, easy walk to The Cri pub and Coles. Always stay here when travelling thru.

Excellent spot, short walk on the Fitzroy bridge to center of town to all the eateries and pubs. Just around the corner North Rockhampton bowls club top feed cold beer nice people.

Stayed at better and worse places. I'd say it's a typical urban caravan park, with all the perks and disadvantages that brings. The bad: It is so open and (when busy) cramped that at times you feel like you're on a parking lot. There is occasional traffic noise. A road goes straight next to some sites including the one we stayed at. It's not busy but when a car does pass it's loud and disturbing. The good: Amenities are good and clean. Hot, powerful showers were very welcome. In case you don't feel like cooking, be sure to visit one of the excellent local steakhouses. It's a 15 minute walk to the nearest one. The price: Value for money isn't up to par. I felt we paid way too much for what we received. Then again, the sites were nearly all occupied so I don't blame them for overcharging.

Great place to stay, friendly staff nothing was too much trouble. Stayed 2 nights due to bad weather reasonable rates and comfortable cabin. Would highly recommend.

I stayed for one night camping two weeks ago. The swimming pool was amazing. Amenities beautiful. Staff are okay? There were friendly people there.

Absolutely love staying here, the amenities and general maintainence over all is substantially higher than a major part of the city's other spots to park up and just live it for a while lol loves it.

Definately not going back there. Spend a few extra dollars and go where the beds are comfy and you dont get woken by yobbos at 4.30am getting ready to go out. Inside of room look like a very amateurish workman did it. would have been better sleeping in car.

I was expecting this place to be much worse than it actually is. The staff are rough and ready but not nasty or anything. It is not that noisy, the sites are large, and the amenities are OK. Free Wifi is good. It is reasonably green and pleasant, which is more than you can say for Rockhampton. Why anyone chooses to live in this hellhole is beyond me. If you collected all the bogans and ferals you could find and dumped them in the ugliest city in OZ, that's Rocky. Avoid.

Great van park. My husband stays here with our van all the time when he is working in Rocky.

My husband & I stayed here for a night recently on our way to Airlie beach from the Sunshine coast.
We were excited to go fishing down at the river, we even brought our own fishing rods and chairs but found when we got there that there is absolutely no fishing spots. The cabin wasn't real clean, the floor hadn't been vaccumed at all. There was long human hair and bits of dirt all over the floor. In the bathroom they only gave us two squares of paper on a toilet roll. In the cupboard under the sink they had dead bugs. They don't provide shampoo & conditioner or face washers, only two towels. The bed sheets were outdated, smelt very old and were not comfy at all.
However we did enjoy the free Austar and the fact that they catered for smokers, which not many people do anymore.

Well kept tropical garden Amenities are old, but large and clean Walking distance to town and bowls clubs Adjacent to a garage with a helpful mechanic Mailing box at the front gate.

Affordable, great stay for us when passing through the area. Powered site was spacious enough with water and power outlets nearby. Amenities are clean. Would highly recommend to campers and caravans alike.

Lovely spot by the river. Everything handy. Great steaks at the Criterion across the river.

Never come back again. That is the worst tourist park ever.

The place was ok and worth $85 bucks a night. Was right next to the river. I didnt appreciate that when I rang the older man didnt seem very enthused to want my business and he then asked for my credit card which I have no problem giving however he said to me " I need credit card to confirm the booking, are we going to have a problem here? " I couldnt believe it! I wont go back just on that alone.
