We’ve just had the most enjoyable experience at breakfast at the regent. Owner and staff go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Food and coffee were delicious. Definitely be back. Do your self a favour and check it out👍

My wife booked a table for our 12th wedding anniversary, when we arrived on the night we were told they were shut 🤷‍♂️. Obviously they don’t allow staff to make outgoing calls because they didn’t ring us prior and I am still waiting for the restaurant manager to call back after I rang to discuss the matter.

Great hotel, good location. Staff are lovely ☺️ room comfortable will stay again and great room service the food is awesome and a random thing, lovely art work around the hotel.

The regent. Trash. I had my engagement party there and yes the food was phenomenal! The manager was painful. For one, tried to tell us music wasn’t needed for an engagement party. Tried to tell my mum she didn’t need anymore decorations
. The manager interrupted and ran the hole night and frankly ruined our night. We were told last drinks at 10:30pm when it should be 11:30pm. Was told to pack up everything. I paid $450 for that room till 12am. I was/am not happy. And I will never ever hold an event, eat, or stay there again simply because of the manager. He ruined our night. He was awful to deal with.

We held our baby shower at the Regent Cafe. First impressions we brilliant, front of house staff were very welcoming and cheerful. The room setup was absolutely gorgeous. Staff were more than happy to lend a hand to add our little baby shower decoration touches to the tables. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Everything was amazing and all of our guests had a fantastic experience!

Staff were extremely good and very friendly the food was lovely and the owner showed us around the old building and the hotel rooms upstairs it was a very enjoyable experience our vartebder/waiter was amazing very inflatable he handled any situation like a professional and with a smile on his face he really made our night😃

Good food, spacious room, very friendly staff, great value for money… overall very good place to stay.

Luxury rooms, beautiful garden and pool area. Central location. Fabulously fresh salads and meals. Delicious hibiscus creme brulee. Megan from restaurant amazing! Highly recommended for anyone staying in Rockhampton.

And the food! Oh my!
We had the rib fillet for dinner and it was cooked to perfection with lovely sides… hot fresh beer battered fries and a thoughtfully put together salad… my husband and I can be quite picky… as in… happy to pay but we want quality for our buck. And goodness… we got it!
Breakfast delivered to our room was the big breakfast with all the culprits… bacon, sausage, poached eggs etc etc (enough for two) and I also ordered the macadamia Bircher muesli which was once again, just top class. Fresh. Sooo delicious. So thoughtfully plated up. Thank you to the chef. I think you can always see when somebody loves what they’re doing by the way they’ve put the food on the plate, and I have to say, this foodie had her socks knocked off!
Can NOT wait to find another excuse to get to Rocky, just so I can book another night at this fabulous hotel. ❤️

This morning myself and a friend met up for a networking session. We ordered our coffee and sat outside on the beautiful deck. Our coffees were bought out promptly. Lets just say the coffee danced on my taste buds! what a delicious drop. We then met the new owner. He was wonderful.
We are very much looking forward to returning in a few weeks!

My Daughters Baby Shower was held at the Quality Regent Hotel Rockhampton.

What is there not to like about the Regent. The rooms are immaculate, the beds are comfortable the food is amazing, Wi-Fi easy to access and the staff and manager very welcoming. Highly recommend the Regent.

Lovely old building in the centre of town. Room was very clean if a little small. Wi-Fi was good. Only fault I could pick was the secure access doors to the building which made a hell of a bang each time a guest entered or exited — Please Fix. Otherwise a positive experience.

They are good at running professional events and seminars in their meeting rooms. Also the restaurant is open as a cafe during the day as another good meeting spot.

The most incredible hotel incorporating the heritage of the city and fantastic service & meals. Highly recommend to anyone and great value for money as well. Thank you.

Can't recommend highly enough. Stayed here for work and found the staff especially friendly and sociable, the food in the restaurant was spot on (especially the Pork Belly) and the rooms spacious and well presented. Will definately be back.

Building has contemporary, yet historic charm. Heritage room was presented beautifully. Hassle free stay. Friendly, professional staff. Enjoyable meal from restaurant. Centrally located.

I was a bit disappointed. Somehow I expected more. It's clean and quiet and good food just no pulse.

Top spot. Top staff. Top room. Top food and beverages. Bar and cafe with a relaxed comfortable atmosphere. Shady outdoor street settings. Cool pool in a secluded area out the back. Easy access and parking. You'd be mad to get all on offer so close to CBD for a great location and much more on offer to mention here so do yourself a favour and check it out. New staff member Gwen is a gem too. Many thanks to owner/managers Steve & Ann for helping make our stay in Rocky such a memorable one.

I had a pleasant stay in a recently renovated, clean room. Might be a bit bright if you need a really dark place to sleep.

Clean, modern and pleasant within older heritage surroundings. Pleasant staff, though sometimes a little understaffed.

Nice place. Beautiful historic preservation. Right near the river area. Strong Wi-Fi.

Wonderful management & staff at this hotel! We had an unexpected stay due to flight cancellation & were well looked after. Late arrival & early departure next day, we were greeted with smiles & fixed up with coffees & breaky to go in minutes. Lovely thick towels & nice toiletries. Room was spotlessly clean. Thanks again, we would happily recommend to others :)

Really amazing staff very helpful and would recommend again. The cafe has wonderful food trued the salmon which had crispy skin and cooked to perfection.

Delicious coffee and wonderful breakfast menu. Service was friendly and quick. Would definitely go back for breakfast.

Really quite fantastic. I honestly don't know how they can afford to stay open when they offer such good service. Stay here if you get the chance, I don't know how long they'll be able to operate while they spend so much money on their good quality rooms and services.

Central but just a little bit away from cbd allowing for peaceful yet very good location. Only had superb breakfast and barista coffees, but found the staff very approachable and helpful. Looking forward to going back there.

Menu is simple but gives you variety. Not expensive. Staff are helpful. Would highly recommend.

Such a beautiful old building so well presented now, decor so beautiful, excellent service from all the staff, so glad I had my 70th birthday party there, the staff just made it so much more special, a big thank you to all of you.

I would also like to thank the staff from the Regrnt Hotel @ Rockhampton would highly recommend this Beautiful accomodation from amazing staff to the high Quality food. I love how they have restored this old building and brought it back to live another 100 more years.
