Cath was so friendly and accommodating, a beautiful location and close to everything we needed.

Lovely property in a superb location right on the beachfront. Although it is an older property, it is lovingly cared for. I found it to be such a peaceful place to relax and absolutely loved walking along the beach every morning and night, listening to the waves and local birds. My self contained apartment was really comfortable with everythibg I needed. Certainly worth checking it out.

Beautiful place to stay, very clean accommodation and friendly staff that go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Would highly recommend it to anybody.

It was in the late 80’s we went to Black’s Beach we stayed at La Solana we went for a walk at the beach, I noticed the coconuts around & was so captivated by the view and later in the early 90’s we saw a unit for sale & we bought unit no. 4 & we never look back. We moved to live here in September 2008. We really love the place esp. The Beach surrounded by coconuts you can imagine that you are in Hawaii.

Would just like to say a BIG thank you to Nick and Cath for making our stay so much easier after I had a fall and fractured my ankle. They went out of their way to make things easier. This was our 3rd stay here and we will most definitely be back again next year. Thank you.

I had a wonderful stay here. Totally felt at home. The owners make sure your checked in and you know where n what is on. Clean rooms and helpful staff. Great for families. Can’t wait to bring my little family back again.

We have never stopped in Mackay. Usually drive all the way through. So happy we did. Staff here are some lovely. So clean, well maintained and relaxing. Will definitely head back.

Don't let the long and slightly confusing name turn you away, this is hands down the nicest place we have stayed. Absolutely stunning, right on the beach.

Great spot, lovely staff and rooms. The driveway is slightly narrowed in parts so take care with wide vehicles.

Totally awesome. Beautifully kept gardens and good privacy for people wanting it. Great pool and spa. Fully contained unit with new washer, dryer, full fridge/freezer and kitchen with all you need. Didn't realise till I got here there was fox movies and that it was pretty good value for money for what you get. All units have undercover car parking. The staff are really friendly people. Really enjoyed and needed a relaxing holiday and glad I picked this place. They have their own manicured lawn with sundeck chairs to look at the view and picnic tables. The pics don't do it justice as you need the "had to be there" view. Loved it all.

Spa grubby and only one pool open no restaurant hosts rude and arrogant games room disgusting cant eeven play pool as table so close to wall.

This place has to be one of the best kept secrets on the Queensland coast. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the site is extremely quiet and peaceful and the landscaping is lovely. Very tropical. And don't forget the beach. The front lawn, overlooking the beach is brilliant. It is probably one of the best beaches I've ever seen anywhere in the world. This place is very safe for children and my family and I will be returning and will most definitely be recommending this resort to our friends. Karl.
