Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at can’t smoke on the balcony have to pay to parking and can’t even take own food or drinks in pool area. Ordered wedges and the sour cream was so watered down it didn’t stay on the potatoes. This Accor organisation is all about making money.

Lovely place to stay, very central to everything on the Gold Coast. Short walk to the beach and casino. Very helpful friendly staff and the rooms are spacious and very clean and comfortable. Bars and restaurants are great, will definitely stay again.

This is a fantastic property which represents the Sofitel brand fairly well. It's not a really top end Sofitel, but it is still one of the best hotels on the Gold Coast. The rooms are of a good size, well maintained and meticulously clean. Service is the typical fantastic experience that one expects of a Sofitel. The restaurants are the jewel in the crown of this property. The degustation menu at Room81 is definitely worth the experience, particularly if you are staying on site and can indulge in the paired wines. The location is very convenient, giving good access to many restaurants and local sights.

Great location, nice view from the room. Rachel on check-in was amazing. Super star. (5 starts for her service and friendly nature). A few issues; heater in the room was not working but it was resolved quickly. Major issue was SPIDERS, there were a few spiders in the room right above the bed and there were webs. Being an accor staff, I did not expect this in the room and my sister was terrified when one spider fell on the blanket. I informed the staff on check-out and ensured that they'll check. Overall, a good stay. Thanks.

Just amazing! The staff were the most happy and lovely people you could meet nothing was too much trouble they made us feel very welcome and helped my hubby plan a romantic day for me also! Our room was lovely an ocean view with a spa! Loved waking up to the beach everyday! The Buffett breakfast was amazing! And the facility’s were fantastic! We had the best holiday!

Enjoyed my stay, but a staff member at TC'S bar by the name of Gaby needs an attitude adjustment. He was super friendly with some locals and rude to others (our hosts who live here) and including us who were visiting. Waiting at the bar he would serve those he liked and made out he didn't see you. Then said " what do you want"? Not very nice at all please retrain him or put him somewhere else. He is not good for your amazing hotel.

It's our first time in Gold Coast and we didn't stay long… more like a quick getaway… but definitely Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach and all their staff from concierge to the staff at Room 81 Restaurant gave us an EXCELLENT service and we feel like we're a part of one big family… thank you Sofitel Gold Coast for your hospitality and for the warm welcome to your city… we will be back! ❤️

Had high tea atThe Sofitel Broadbeach. Beautiful venue, superb service and stunning desserts. Would definitely recommend it a a great way to spend an afternoon. Over the years we have had many more including at Raffles Resort Singapore and Sofitel Broadbeach is by far the best. We will definitely be returning.

Hotel is conveniently located close to conference centre and is surrounded by restaurants with Woolworths nearby. Rooms were spacious (particularly for one) and clean. Friendly and polite staff all around (including/especially on the phone). Buffet had a good variety and was decent. Would recommend this to anyone — family holiday or business trip.

No regrets booking the luxury Ocean view room, with a spectacular view of the beach (check out the photos for yourself). Service was exceptional, staff are friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. The hotel has a direct access to a mall which has a supermarket, making it very convinient. I will return!

I travel often for work & stay in many hotels, In my recent stay I chose the Sofitel for leisure. I had an ocean facing room & although the room decor could use a refresh, it was clean & with a great view. I can happily say the staff & service here is well above standard. For me this is what makes all the difference.

All ways love staying here such great service and happy to help you and go out of there way to serve. Rooms may be outed dates but the service is a win win which make to say I great place to fill just at home. On my second time saying I was gifted a hand write quote and a thank yo7 note and hand made dessert to say thanks you for coming back made my day.

A beautiful venue in Broadbeach. Close to safe sandy ocean waters Public transport by tram Star Casino Pacific Fair Shopping “city” and Convention centre. Plus the soon to be opened 5star plus high rollers accommodations. All guests seemed very happy with their chosen holiday destination.

Beautiful large relaxing non heated refreshing swimming pool and smaller heated one with Spa, Gym and excess to the shopping centre. Recommended for adults who wants to have a relaxing time, swimming and doing laps with rules for children around to be accompanied and watched by their parents. Was quiet and not noisy. Definitely coming back.

5 star? Definitely not. However the staff were pleasant. The bathrooms and carpets are or dated and the food is average. I stayed for 4 days and my room attendant Grace was absolutely amazing, she made the hotel feel 5 star as I felt I overpaid. She made our hotel stay feel amazing and the way she cleaned was 5 star! She made an ugly hotel room feel absolutely amazing. I would come again in hopes to meet her again. Thank you Grace. (Best in the company)

We absolutely love this hotel staff are so helpful and cheerful. When our bags were delivered to our room m6 husband went to offer a tip and the concierge said no need for that sir. Finding out it was our Anniversary a bottle of bubbly was delivered to our room. The view from our room was fantastic and the Get Lux deal we got we were very happy with and also being Accor members we still got our privledges. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel.

Everything at this hotel is just a little bit off standard: — mould smell in the hallways (perhaps due to it raining all weekend? ) — concierge was practically absent when checking in and out — when I asked reception (Christine) for a late checkout, I was ignored. I asked a second time only to not be heard again. So I decided to not ask a third time. — rooms felt a bit dated and not as luxurious as other Sofitels we've stayed at previously. The plus is that we had great views (expected with most hotels on the Gold Coast). A bottle of bubbly was sent to our room as an anniversary gift, which we did appreciate. But that was the only positives. Just not the 5 star Sofitel we expected. Not worth $460 a night.

Fast check-in, luggage delivered to our room and secure under cover parking provided. Our room offered inspiring views and a balcony where we enjoyed the sounds of rolling surf and the Gold Coast night life below. A quick stop in at the gym before a dip in the pool the infinity edge added to the resort feel. The weather broke above perfect timing to enjoy a hot spa in the rain as lights coloured the side of the building in an ever changing display. Dinner was delightful, pre dinner drinks in the bar, the atmosphere was chic, elegant yet relaxed and well paced — we opted for a room service desert menu — there is nothing quite so indulgent as ice-cream in a robe whilst watching a movie and sampling a well stocked mini bar. The beds were soft and the linen inviting, it was a refreshing night sleep with the balcony doors open to the sounds of the surf coast. A short morning walk on the beach developed an appetite for breakfast. The breakfast room bustled with early morning energy, smiling staff and some amazing breakfast offerings. All too quickly it was time to check-out. The concierge provided much needed assistance with our luggage whilst the desk staff were super efficient at processing our stay. Some things to watch out for: The bathroom in our room is a little tired, the floor coverings in some of the foyer areas need updating to create a real day time sparkle — otherwise — thanks for having us over for we had a great night and refreshing stop over.

Loved the Sofitel on Broadbeach, we had an ocean view room with balcony which had an amazing view. All of the staff were super courteous and friendly and despite arriving a little bit early we were able to check in without difficulty. A special mention to Carina on the front desk who was very welcoming and professional. The hotel was also perfectly located, right in the midst of everything We will definitely be coming back!

My partner and I celebrated our anniversary at Sofitel recently. The staff made our stay even more special with champagne and strawberries in our room and gave us a room with wonderful views. We had dinner at Room81 and the staff there were wonderful and very good. Also, big compliments to the Chef. The food was amazing. Checking and out was very easy and the staff at Reception were very attentive.

Staff go out of their way to make your holiday SPECIAL. Every staff member we had contact with were quality focused. Meilee the room service attendant made our 6 year old granddaughters stay very special. When we returned to our room on the second afternoon, she had arranged her unicorn stuffed toys on the pillow together with 4 chocolates. She was over the moon. Reception were always willing to assist in supplying additional bedding requirements etc Very clean and tidy. We have stayed many times over the years and have always found the service to be of a high quality and genuine.

Our first time staying at Sofitel Broadbeach and it was a great experience. We were greeted warmly by concierge who then directed us in the right direction to reception for check in. Staff at reception were very welcoming and informative. We stayed on the 19th floor and the view from our room was amazing which was facing the street but being up high at night the lights was beautiful and very calming to just watch. The room and bathroom was very spacious and the bed so comfortable had a fantastic sleep. We also had the buffet breakfast, the variety was very good so much to choose from, we would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay, all the staff were so friendly and welcoming and accommodated us with our requests. It was just wonderful service. They room was so clean, comfortable and relaxing. Thank you for an enjoyable stay, we will certainly be returning.

This hotel has one of the best hotel breakfasts that I've had. That alone might be enough for me to stay again. The hotel itself is a bit dated, with the rooms a bit older in style. But the bed area is updated, outlets near the bed are much appreciated. The parking seems reasonable as well. Staff are very friendly and engaging, particularly the concierge and the restaurant manager.

5 Stars to Carol! Have had a 2 day work conference (@100 people) and Carol ensured that we were looked after with our morning and afternoon tea breaks and lunch. Her presentation was perfect, customer service was exceptional and her work ethics outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble and she always had a smile. Well Done Carol!

This was a short Friday-Sunday break for a personal visit. As always I was greeted warmly by reception, and I was given a great room with beach view on a high floor. The layout of the room as more than adequate and as a loyalty member I was given a nice welcome platter of sweets in my room.

I always feel extra special when I stay at a Sofitel. This was the first time staying at Broadbeach. It is located exactly where I want to be when I head to the Gold Coast. All the staff are welcoming and friendly and greet you politely. A lit bit of decadence goes a long way.

Its was perfect from start to end. Great service and awesome food at the bistro. We had booked dinner somewhere else second nite but changed our minds and enjoyed two fantastic dinners at the bistro. The staff made us feel welcome and nothing was trouble (kids you know can be tricky to take along sometimes…) we loved our stay & will come back soon!

Great experience asked for late checkout and was no problem. Staff very helpful. Love the iced water and hot tea at reception. Flowers in reception area and around the hotel makes it feel bright and fresh. Beds and pillows are amazing, had a wonderful sleep.

From booking online to arriving and checking in, everything was so easy. The only thing that caused me concern was that the $100 bond fee on my card, I completely forgot about it, so that the amount of my invoice didn't match the amount that was shown to have been withdrawn from my account. Perhaps a note on the bottom of an invoice to remind people that the amount does change back to the invoice when the payment goes through. It was an easy phone call and the woman that helped me was wonderfully helpful and understanding.

After a busy week of travel, my room with big comfy bed and views of the ocean were a welcome sight. The rooms were very spacious and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the variety and quality of food available for breakfast each morning.

My experience staying at the Sofitel was exceptional — no complaints at all. I booked the hotel because I was an AccorPlus member, but if I needed a hotel at Broadbeach in the near future, I would book the Sofitel, and I have told other people how nice it was.

The staff were great and all the facilities you could want for. It is so central we just walked everywhere. Great sea views from the balcony. Only complaint for the whole place was the bed (rm 407) was very uncomfortable. It had extra padding underneath because it was old I guess. Great.

As an Accor plus member I'm disappointing with my choice to stay at the Sofitel GC at a cost of $330 a night, I've stayed in Sofitel's all over Asia and Europe over the last few years and the decor and amenities that are provided in the rooms do not reflect the 5 star Sofitel brand, I feel like I checked in to a 3 star Holiday inn. On my arrival there was no one to great me or take my bags, the wrong room was assigned to me and I had to return to reception to change the key. The following day on my return to my room after a long day the towels and water haven't been replaced. Unfortunately this may affect my decision to continue to use the Accor Brand.

From the time I arrived to the time I left all staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Check in and check out was smooth. Breakfast was good and no one felt like we had to hurry. The room was clean and the view was spectacular — thank you :) Great proximity to beach, restaurants, bars and casino.

Sometimes you can tell a great hotel by how they manage things that don't go right. On our first night noisy overnight road works disrupted our sleep. As soon as we notified the manager (Prada? I think) he went out of his way to move us around the other side of the building — even providing us with a complimentary breakfast while our belongings were moved. The staff were all delightful and helpful whatever our request. We were very impressed and would not hesitate to recommend the Sofitel to friends or colleagues. Nothing seemed too difficult for staff and rooms were spotless. Breakfast was terrific and the Chief offered to cook something to cater for our special dietary requirements. Iv stayed at many top end hotels and many are over priced and under serviced. Not so here. Right in the hub for coffee shops, casino and restaurants.

Took three attempts to book room second to only reservation day staff being able to use requested codes (conference). Aside from this room OK — clean and neat, food good, service good. Was able to check in early which was useful. Bonjour thing irritating.

I have absolutely loved my stay here. Gus is as absolute gem, very helpful, kind & always smiling. As well as Raj, very kind! Felt very welcome & comfortable. Beautiful river views, cleanliness was of such a high standard. The bed was like sleeping in heaven. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room 81 was a wonderful venue with lovely food and drink options.

The facilities were fantastic. Clean pool and deck with a great outlook. Amazing room with huge 55" TV (although reception wasn't the best) and easily locatable light switches, balcony, plenty of towels and toiletries. Breakfast was superb (various yoghurts, smoothies, fruits, fruit salad, stewed fruits, cereal, hot breakfast, pastries etc). 500Mb Wi-Fi included. Friendly staff and about 200m walk to the beach!

Warning you are not getting 5 star service or accommodation! Expect to wake up feeling sore and stiff from the horrible beds and pillows. TV reception is terrible all the pay TV channels that have movies are not available so your forced to pay excessive over the top fees for their on demand services. It's very much a case of you pay for the room then they hit you with all the extra fees and charges that you can't really forgo to make the stay bearable.

Great location. Disappointed that I'm a Silver Le Club member and the 'free' internet received is not even usable for business. They even make their loyalty members pay for high-speed internet, what a joke! The TV picture is analogue and looks horrible. I'm paying a premium for this room and it feels very cheap. The gym is tiny for a hotel of this size and the pool area doesn't have much wow factor. Come on Accor, lift your game! UPDATE: had call from GM, updated my internet plan but unfortunately the pipe into the building is slow. Their internet & TV reception is getting upgraded soon.

Stayed here for a work trip, can't comment if it was worth the money (because I honestly have no idea how much the room looking out to the beach was). But in true Safire Style the pillows and mattresses were amazing.

In Room Dining is fabulous, food is great as usual from Sofitel, bathrooms are a bit old, but rooms are wonderful make sure you get a ocean view room.

Very close to the bars and restaurant, with 2 tennis courts, a pool a bar and very close to the beach. This hostel has every thing you need for a great weekend.

I liked this hotel. Good central location. It is maintained in a clean and working order. I found the food to be great with service to be sometimes lacking, but mostly very good. The beach views are great but it's a pity about the other buildings in the way. The gym is a bit small but there is a large one nearby. I'd go back.
