We loved our stay here. The pools were beautiful and the setting was peaceful. The tropical gardens gave privacy and the apartment had everything we needed. Will definitely stay here again.

Love love love it here! 2bed/2 bath apartment full kitchen, laundry/dryer, undercover car park, excellent heated pool, amazing gardens, easy access to beach and friendly staff!

This is one of the most family friendly resorts I know. Two massive pools (one heated). BBQs everywhere. No lifts. Amazing tropical gardens, walk through to patrolled beaches. Walk to Miami Tavern & Nobbys surf club. The most relaxing holidays we’ve had, have been here. We have already booked Christmas!

Cant recommend Grand Florida more, from the time we arrived we were greeted amazingly from Tiani, Nelson is friendly obliging, then we had a gentleman from one of the rooms help carry our groceries from our car to our room, totally loved our room 6, thank you all for making our stay enjoyable.
Cant wait to return just love the place.

Update. I originally wrote a post not recommending this resort. However, the reception staff were fantastic once I raised a complaint about my unit (unit 6). I was moved on the day to a lovely unit (unit 25). Thank you so much to all the staff for their wonderful service.

Great arrival and departure service. Special mention to Nelson Thank you so much for ur customer service this last weekend. So a nice guy and willing to do whatever for his guests want or need.

The fan were dusty and toilets were so dirty. I didn’t think the rooms had been cleaned properly. However the receptionist is very friendly and welcoming. Not worth it for value of money.

Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, we had room 102 and it certainly was the best home away from home. The kids enjoyed being at the resort more than the theme parks. The access to the beach is great and easy. The staff were very friendly, and the resort is in a great area, and very quite and relaxing. Definitely will be back.

Absolutely stunning grounds & pools. The best helpful friendly staff. Our apartment has everything we need plus a underground carpark super close to our back door. Resort complex is relaxed and very secure. Super close to beach. Full size kitchens and laundry in apartment. Absolutely perfect place to holiday in the GC.

I love love loved our stay here at the Grande Florida! the staff were top, especially Terri! she was a great receptionist and took great care of us and passed on a lot of good info on to us about where we could go and what we could do! room was very well presented and clean! lots of great amenities available. You are able to see the caretaker keeping up the outdoor maintenance of the resort which is awesome to see! I love the arrangement of the resort! walking down the path way feels like your in a tropical place with all the beautiful trees and plants. Pools are awesome an even has bbq's around for you to enjoy!

We are here right now. Staff are lovely, pools are gorgeous and our room is lovely and clean. Access straight onto Miami Beach (patrolled) is great for our morning swim. We especially love the resort feel as opposed to a closed in high rise!

We LOVE Grande Florida Resort, we come here all the time, even if it’s just to getaway for a few days. The staff are very friendly, and the resort is just the best place to stay at. And we find it in the best location to all the places we want to go too.

The service and friendlyness from the staff is wonderful but the apartment we stayed in this time could do with a little tlc compared to the apartment we stayed in back in Feb. Thank you Nelson and ladies for a great experience :) we will be back!

We have stayed at the Grand Florida several times as a family, sometimes for 3 weeks, kids have always enjoyed it as well. Great location, staff very helpful. But recently I have booked my 80 year old parents in for a weeks vacation. The staff helped my parents settle into their apartment and the young man carried my parents suitcases to their room, you dont see that anymore unless you are in a hotel. My parents loved there room, beautifully done. So I would highly recommend and would like to thank them for their assistance and hospitality.

Great stay, excellent accommodation — I believe we had the best apartment in the complex. Heated pool was warm enough to swim in mid winter. The shared facilities BBQ and grounds were kept immaculate. Site manager Nelson was extremely helpful and all staff were very nice to deal with.

Have stayed here multiple times as the staff are amazing and the resort is such a nice place to stay. Will be back again. 10/10 service!

We stayed at Grand Florida Resort for 5 nights. The premises and the unit were clean, there was almost everything you would need. My children loved the heated pool, and the beach was across the road. Overall we are very satisfied with our stay and I will recommend it to everyone who is looking for a nice place at an affordable price.

My family stayed at Grand Florida Resort for 5 nights. The premises and our unit were clean. There were 2 pools and bbq areas. Miami beach was just across the road (a path through the pool area). The shops (Aldi) were minutes away. Children loved the heated pool most of all, and my husband and I enjoyed our dinners at the bbq area. Overall we are very satisfied with our stay and will recommend this place as a great holiday accommodation at an affordable price.

Awesome resort. The apartment was spacious, clean and had everything we could need. TV was large (great for watching the Commonwealth Games). The pools are a good size and clean. The heated outdoor pool was a absolute winner. The gardens are well kept and it was lovely to look out at the all the palm trees. The location is fantastic. A quick walk to beautiful Miami beach. A quick drive or walk to the supermarket, chemist and speciality shops. It is also a quick walk to Nobby's shops for more great restaurants and choices. I would absolute recommend this place and will definitely stay here again. The staff were helpful if you needed them, otherwise you felt very private and we liked it that way. As value for money, this is the place to stay. It is relaxed, comfortable and a happy place. Everyone is friendly.

We’ve just had two weeks at Grande Florida. We were extremely satisfied with the Resort. Our unit was very comfortable with an extremely well equipped kitchen. The pools were both great and well maintained. The ample BBQ’s around the pools were also great. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
We would (and have already) thoroughly recommend the Grande Florida to anyone looking for somewhere to stay on the Gold Coast. The Resort is central, affordable and a truly great place to stay. Thank you for a great holiday.

Best family holiday! Staff were helpful and friendly, accomodation was clean and cosy. The pools are amazing and heaps of fun we just loved it we had no kids with us but it would definetly be somewhere id come again and bring the whole family. Good location and even though we stayed in peak season it didnt seem over crowded. I would recommend staying here anytime!

Call them Direct, The Assistant Manager (cannot remember his name) was fantastic when we stayed in Jan 2017. Could not have been more helpful. All staff very friendly. Its not a 2018 building if you want that stay at a 5 star and pay 5 x the price. 2 pools and entry to beach… beautiful well kept Resort style gardens.

Management do not respect room privacy. Disgraceful incident and they dismissed it. It really offended me. I suggest there are other beter places next time in qld. Pro — great pools and bbq facilities… close to beach… good parking. Neg — ants in rooms, mold in shower, poor cleaning, lack of respect to customer. Wi-Fi is not free despite what is advertised. Worst place I have stayed at… not happy.

Beautiful, peaceful, 2 big swimming pools, sauna, games room, B. B. Q. S, wonderful staff close to beach, shops, cafes, restaurants had an amazing time.

This is a perfect place to stay for you and your family for winter and imagine even better in summer. The staff are so helpful and the rooms and outdoors are flawless.

I loved the facilities there and the heated pool was large and spacious but the only problem I had was the rooms. The bed had sand all over it, the shower was floor was dirty and head was rusty but warm water was very much useful. Great place overall. Traffic really bad at 3-6pm by the way.

Falsely advertised, staff don't even know the prices they charge for rooms. We booked a 3 bedroom superior room, that was $300 a night and it was a absolute disgrace. Staff are rude and cleaners can't do there job right, and had to clean our room twice and it still wasn't good enough for the price we paid. Will never ever return or recommend it to anyone I know!

My large family and I stayed at the Grande Florida Resort for 7 days in Jan, 2016. Truly a very enjoyable and relaxing experience. The room was clean, tidy and fully air-conditioned and suited our needs perfectly. The staff were always polite, helpful and considerate. The resort is perfect for a family getaway and it has two excellent lagoon pools that my kids lived in the entire time we were there, sometimes up to 9.00 p. M.! The way the resort is secure and safe with key fob access required for rear and front entrances and being 6 or so k's out of the heart of Surfers was exactly what we wanted. We found the prices realistic and affordable for the Gold Coast and coming from Melbourne it truly met our expectations for a great summer holiday. We are already looking to book our next trip to QLD and we will definitely stay there, probably for at least 10 days this time. Thank you so much to Al & Nelson Clark and the team at Grande Florida for making our stay such a memorable one. We thoroughly recommend the Grande Florida for anyone considering the Gold Coast as their next holiday destination. Richard 26.1.16

Really bad. First moved into apartment found vomit stains on couch, iron stain on the table, smelt like cigarettes and really dirty. While checking out they told me they had checked the room and blamed me for all of the above and to top it all off took my $300 bond. Disgusting.

We had a wonderful time at the Resort. The service was excellent. The staff could not do enough for us We loved the emenities and surroundings, sitting on the Apartment Balcony having breakfast overlooking the gardens and pool, or just having a BBQ by the pool Loved the spar in the pool too. Very close to shopping and Surfers Paradise. Would recommend this Resort and looking forward to holidaying there again Thank You Nelson and Co.

The apartment was clean & spacious. Loved that there were 2 bathrooms. The pool was warm, the views and gardens were beautiful. The only thing we didn't like was the the bed was too hard. Otherwise perfect family holiday accommodation.

Our family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our 10 nights at Grande Florida Resort. To swim in the middle of winter whenever we felt like, take a walk on the beach, cook our own meals on the BBQ or in our large kitchen truly made this a resort we will return to for sure. This is our second time so far!
